This research aimed to find out: (1) the difficulties that faced by Visually Impaired Students (2) the learning style that used by Visually Impaired Students (3) the learning strategiess that used by Visually Impaired Students. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research in the form of case study.. There are three visually impaired students, teacher, orphanage caregiver involved in this research. In this research, the researcher used observation, questionnaire and interview for instrument. Further the data analysis used Miles and Huberman model with the steps as following: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The result shows that the difficulties appeared because there were in inclusive class. Almost of them felt difficult when the learning process was seeing the media such as presentation or watching a visual picture or videos. To overcome it they had different strategies.. The researcher classified that One students had memory strategies, compensation strategies and social strategies. One student used affective strategies. One student used metacognitive strategies. Based on the learning style, the most of visually impaired students were auditory learners. It can seen from all of Visually Impaired Students said that it more easier when listening to the teachers but if they didn’t understand they wrote the material first on the notebook. So, the Visually Impaired Student easier to understand the material that given by the teacher through listening. Visually Impaired Student at Charitable Institution ‘AisyiyahPonorogo didn’t have visual learning style because they were totally blind.

The research aimed to analyze students’ receptive learning style, processing learning style, and expressive learning style in the second-grade students of SMP PesantrenGuppiSamata.  The research was in qualitative method, it collects, analyzes, and interprets the phenomenon of learning style in the second-grade students’ of VII B class in SMP GuppiSamata as the subject of research. The data was collected using observation and interviews. The result of this research showed that each student is different based on how they receive, process, and express their information. There were 17 students in VII B class. For the receptive learning style, there were three visual learners, five auditory learners, six kinesthetic learners, and the other three students who used multiple learning styles. In processing learning style there were seven left-brain learners and ten mid-brain learners. In expressive learning style, there were two students used creatively as output area, nine students used writing as output area, one student used thinking as output area, two students used creative and thinking as output area, and two students can use multiple output area. The research helped the students to know and realize their own learning style, providing a contribution to the teacher to plan learning strategy and learning activity that will suit each learning style and to be a new reference andupdates the existing study.

Learning styles are the basis on how students learn. There are different learning styles. Three of the most popular ones are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic in which students use to absorb information. On one hand, students’ motivation is an internal drive of the students to do a task on their own will. The study used a univariate likert scale questionnaire among Senior High School Students in Jagobiao National High School to 244 individuals. Questionnaires were sent directly to targeted segment. Firstly, the respondents reported that they absorb information best using hearing aspects known as auditory learners. Secondly, they absorb information by visualizing or the visual learners. Lastly, the respondents describe that they learn through actions or the kinesthetic learners. The finding of the study is not statistically significant between students’ learning styles and self-motivation because the ANOVA presented that the result is greater than the alpha in which the decision is failed to reject and there is no significant association between the two variables students’ learning styles and self-motivation. Majority of the students preferred to listen while learning. It was seen that it is the best way that the students absorb information effectively. It is necessary that the teachers should identify the students learning strategies in order to meet their teaching strategies. The study accentuates that students’ self-motivation does not affect the students’ learning styles.

The traditional method of teaching approach in Indian schools is basically a threat for flexible learning where students are given importance based on their learning preferences. Students are not encouraged for maximized learning through their different learning style when teachers in classroom use the only chalk-talk method of teaching approach. The main objective of this study is to identify the learning essentials of the adolescents, which helps the teachers to create positive interest among students in learning &classroom behaviour and improve their comprehension in day to day learning. In Indian schools some are auditory learners, some visual and some are kinaesthetic learners, but majority of the students learn better throughmulti-dimensional teaching approach which includes Audio, Visual and Kinaesthetic teaching approach. But due to the use of the traditional method of teaching in Indian schools the students are unable to perform better in their academics. The family, peer group as well as the school environment is also causing several emotional and psychological problems among these adolescents which is also a cause behind their learning interest.Hereby, we can come to the conclusion that the students are deferent in learning. But there is a severe need to identify the learning essentials of adolescents to explore the new model in classroom teaching to encourage them towards learning and maximize their academic performance.Secondary data method is used and the study is descriptive in nature.

Purpose: This study was performed to assess the learning styles of a sample of Iranian residents through Kolb’s and VARK questionnaires. Methods: In this descriptive-analytical study, 45 ophthalmology residents of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences were enrolled. Kolb’s and VARK questionnaires were provided, and residents were oriented and guided on how to complete them. Results: Forty-three out of the forty-five ophthalmology residents completed the questionnaire (95.5% response rate). The preferred learning style among ophthalmology residents was assimilative (51.2%), followed by convergent (37.2%), accommodative (7.7%), and divergent (4.7%), based on Kolb’s questionnaire. According to the results of the VARK questionnaire, most ophthalmology residents were auditory learners (34.9%), followed by multimodal learners (30.2%). In addition, there was no significant relation between genders, stage of residency, and Kolb’s and VARK learning styles (P > 0.05 for all). Conclusion: The most preferred learning styles of ophthalmology residents were assimilative and auditory. Considering the dominant learning styles of learners and incorporating various teaching methods are recommended to enhance the learning among residents.

This research discussed the effectiveness of learning English writing using the Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) and lecture-based learning method. The two methods were applied in two classes of second-year students, and they were given a writing test over one semester. The first class was using STAD and the second class with lecture-based learning. Around 80 students were classified into visual and auditory learning styles based on the questionnaires filled in. The results in the statistical analysis provide important insights into the learning achievement of both visual and auditory learners modeled by STAD. Using the STAD method, they have accomplished considerably higher scores on academic writing achievement than the students who are taught by lecture-based learning. Therefore, it brings a positive effect and association with the students’ learning styles.

This quantitative research is aimed to find out (1) the writing quality of both visual and auditory learners; (2) whether or not the writing quality of auditory learners is significantly different from that of visual learners; and (3) which type of learners has better writing quality. This research applied causal-comparative design in analyzing and comparing the writing skills between the visual and auditory learners. The research participants were the sixth semester students of English Education Department UIN Alauddin Makassar in the academic year of 2017-2018. The data were collected using two kinds of instruments, namely Perceptual Learning Style Inventory and writing test. The results showed that both the visual and auditory learners are in normal criteria of writing quality, and also, there is not any significant difference of writing quality between auditory learners and visual learners. Nevertheless, auditory learners had a tendency to outweigh the visual learners in terms of the total score regardless the insignificancy of the difference. On the other hand, the significant difference of the mean score found from the t-test result underscores the ideas that the learning styles and other contributing factors to writing production to satisfy students’ learning are consistent with the theories used in this study. It proves that every individual’s learning preferences differ significantly, and the stronger the preference, the more important it is to provide compatible learning and teaching strategies which involve students’ strategies, knowledge and purposes.
