Background: Serenoa repens (SR) is a plant used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostatitis. We know that SR act as a 5α-reductase inhibitor, moreover, several studies have proved that SR has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. There is some belief among patients that SR may negatively impact male sexual function. Such belief is circulating in non-medical social networks and is perhaps maintained by patients as a result of incorrect web surfing. However, it is also possible that SR may exert a “nocebo” effect thus negatively impacting on the general well-being of patients. Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate whether SR is causing negative effects on male sexual function. Methods: To ascertain the effect of SR on male sexual function, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis, by performing an electronic database search in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines. Results: Out of 20 included papers, 8 papers reported comparisons of SR with placebo, and 7 studies reported comparisons of SR with tamsulosin. The standardized mean difference of changes from baseline scores of sexual function was not significantly different between SR and placebo (SMD: 0.43, 95% CI: 0.18 to 1.05; I^2 = 95%). Similarly, no significant mean differences in the Male Sexual Function-4 (MSF-4) test scores were found between SR and tamsulosin (SMD: -0.31, 95% CI: -0.82 to 0.19; I^2 = 90%). Conclusions: We found no statistically significant differences between negative effects on sexual function in patients treated with SR compared to patients who received placebo. The results of our meta-analysis are similar to those of other systematic reviews. Studies are warranted to ascertain whether any such effects might occur as a result of a nocebo effect.

The Analysis of common conceptual frameworks associated with Performance analysis of OSPFV3 and EIGRP in applications in IPV6 for analysis of articles published in Scopus between 2016 and 2021 by applying the Corresponding method analysis. The number of times an article is downloaded is also being considered as a measurement instrument or method of analysis. The Corresponding analysis method has analysis 117 articles from 2016 to 2021. All the articles are based on performance analysis of OSPFV3 AND IPV6.IPv6 has gained legitimacy and inevitability as a result of the internet's expansion, which has resulted in IPv4 address space exhaustion. An internet next-generation protocol that will replace eventually IPv4 is IPv6. Using Riverbed Modeler Academic Edition, 2state link protocols’ performance for IPv6, IS–IS and OSPFv3 was compared and tested for the greatest commonly utilized applications enterprise for example remote login, database query, file transfer, web surfing, and email. The major characteristics used to assess performance include IPv6 packets dropped, network convergence time, link utilization, throughput, remote login response time, file upload/download response times, http page response times, email, and database query response time,. The primary goal of this dissertation is to compare, simulate, and assess both routing protocols’ performance in order to decide which one is best for routing IPv6 network traffic. Based on the parameters utilized, the protocol that performed better than the others would be suggested for routing network traffic in IPv6. The study was separated into two scenarios to achieve this goal: the IS–IS and OSPFv3 scenario. After the simulation for the IS–IS scenario was completed, the data from both scenarios were compared and examined using the provided parameters to see which protocol worked better. Based on the majority of the simulation parameters employed, the simulation results showed that OSPFv3 was performed as compared toIS–IS.

Adolescents’ relationship with technology is controversial both because of the possibilities it offers and because of the risks it entails, even being perceived by them as a real need. In order to improve the knowledge about it, a non-experimental research of transversal style has been carried out using a methodology based on data mining. 1,048 students of Secondary Education participated and answered a questionnaire about their use of the Internet and social networks. Six factors were indentified, which could be recognized as patterns of behavior in the network. They are grouped around: (1) the communicative and informative dimension of the resources; (2) the one related to the security in the network; (3) the risk and vulnerability; (4) the specialized information both general and specific, (5) the transfer and acquisition of goods; and (6) the leisure and parental surveillance. The main findings show that their habits are mostly oriented towards the transfer and transaction along with the maintenance of security, avoinding situations that could involve risk and vulnerability in navigation. The identification of these subgroups is timely in order to develop training and digital literacy actions.

The browser industry is largely driven by indirect funding, so browser makers should be concerned about the attractiveness of the product they offer. When choosing a browser, the user is guided by considerations of beauty, convenience and speed of work. Most users in the modern world are not technically trained, they are ordinary people who pick up products in stores or communicate on social networks, etc. They have a vague idea of information security, and often neglect it, or, on the contrary, begin to fear interference with their privacy and do not know how to protect themselves or how to check its provision. Therefore, the main responsibility for ensuring information security lies with the creators of the browser and depends on their integrity and competence. One of the tasks of information security professionals is to help improve services in terms of their security. To this end, the work carried out a security analysis of four browsers that were originally presented as browsers for safe and anonymous use. The task of the survey and analysis is to determine the most secure and confidential tool for web surfing, as well as to identify the content of malicious codes in these browsers.

Mobile devices now rival desktop computers as the most popular devices for web surfing and E-commerce. As screen sizes of mobile devices continue to get larger, operating smartphones with a single-hand becomes increasingly difficult. Automatic operating hand detection would enable E-commerce applications to adapt their interfaces to better suit their user’s handedness interaction requirements. This paper addresses the problem of identifying the operative hand by avoiding the use of mobile sensors that may pose a problem in terms of battery consumption or distortion due to different calibrations, improving the accuracy of user categorization through an evaluation of different classification strategies. A supervised classifier based on machine learning was constructed to label the operating hand as left or right. The classifier uses features extracted from touch traces such as scrolls and button clicks on a data-set of 174 users. The approach proposed by this paper is not platform-specific and does not rely on access to gyroscopes or accelerometers, widening its applicability to any device with a touchscreen.

The World Wide Web (www) has become an interactive medium for millions of Internet users across the world, daily visiting occur for various purposes. However, their behavior could be monitored by various service providers or company’s website they visited for several purposes. Thus, we can see that if certain data pre-processing techniques are practiced correctly, results will be of high quality and in turn provide substantial evidence of the user and its web session. This paper provides a way of knowing user behavior on the web. It explains the use of cookies: Cookies allow you to do many things such as log on to Internet Banking, have us 'remember' your log-in preferences, when logging on, a pop-up window appears stating the service is not available and to try later. A misspelled domain name in the address line. Lotteries that charge a fee to collect your winnings, apply for products and services online, and use financial tools like our ‘find and compare’ mortgage calculators., servers, and proxy logs with some scripting to be able not only to get a user’s IP address but also get personal information like age, identity, and any other credential as long as the user puts them down while using the web.

There is a widespread stereotype that women are better at multitasking. Previous studies examining gender difference in multitasking used either a concurrent or sequential multitasking paradigm and offered mixed results. This study examined a possibility that men were better at concurrent multitasking while women were better at task switching. In addition, men and women were also compared in terms of multitasking experience, measured by a computer monitoring software, a self-reported Media Use Questionnaire, a laboratory task-switching paradigm, and a self-reported Multitasking Prevalence Inventory. Results showed a smaller concurrent multitasking (dual-task) cost for men than women and no gender difference in sequential multitasking (task-switching) cost. Men had more experience in multitasking involving video games while women were more experienced in multitasking involving music, instant messaging, and web surfing. The gender difference in dual-task performance, however, was not mediated by the gender differences in multitasking experience but completely explained by difference in the processing speed. The findings suggest that men have an advantage in concurrent multitasking, which may be a result of the individual differences in cognitive abilities.

Contemporary society requires communication strategies that integrate different media channels in order to improve advertising performance. Currently, there are not many scientific research studies of the various mass media, comparing the results of audiovisual advertising to purely audio or visual messages aimed at detecting the best combination of media, especially from a neurophysiological perspective. This study aims to investigate the effects of previous exposure to an advertisement via radio on the consumers’ response to the same advertisement shown on television (TV) or as a banner on a website. A total of seventy participants in a between-subjects experiment watched several television commercials during the advertising break of a documentary or saw some banners during a web surfing task. Half were first exposed to the same advertisements via radio. The results have shown that participants who previously listened to the radio advertisements spent a longer time looking at the brand and had a higher engagement when watching the same advertisements on television. Moreover, they had a different kind of visual attention to the website banners. This pattern of results indicates the effect of mere exposure—that is, the exposure to a radio advertisement enhances the effectiveness of the same advertisement via television or web, offering useful insights for media planning campaigns. Even if mere exposure has been extensively studied, cross-media research is scarcely explored, whereas this study detected the effects of mere exposure in a cross-media communication strategy, showing that it can be measured through psychophysiological methods.
