This article contains results of a broad research conducted in the rural community of Ayoxuxtla de Zapata in the Mixteca Baja Poblana. The main objective of the research is to locate, describe and analyze agroecological processes from the close relationship between knowledge, practices and beliefs; considering that local traditional knowl-edge (culture) is in connection with the practical (productive) implications and the development of a cosmos in the reproduction of beliefs. It starts from the hypothesis that traditional knowledge is part of the local identity and are fundamental elements of the agroecological transition. Biotic and cultural processes related to traditional agroecosystems such as tlacolol are described and analyzed. Through the theoretical approach of ethnoecology and by means of a coarse ethnography, an integral reading of knowledge, practices and beliefs was made, which is systematized and presented in a biocultural matrix. In a table on epistemic plots of both agricultural activities is pre-sented the comparison with agroindustrial production systems such as monoculture greenhouses found in the region.

Literature on the determinants of far-right support has increased markedlyduring the last few years, expanding our knowledge on who votes for these par-ties. Little is known, however, about the relationship being a member of the mil-itary and voting for the far-right. Recent scandals within the armed forces ofsome developed democracies underscore this gap. In this paper, we argue thatthere is an ideological affinity between the military and far-right parties based onshared values over nationalism and authoritarianism. We use two distinct empir-ical strategies to test this argument in Spain. First, we pool together data fromseveral survey rounds to show that individual military personnel are significantlymore prone to support Spain’s new populist radical right-wing party, VOX. Sec-ond, we show that the location of military facilities across Spain is linked to highersupport for VOX. Using spatial statistics, we show evidence of a diffusion effect. Our findings are relevant to both the literature on far-right support and our knowl-edge of civil-military relationships.

The aim of the article is to present a new information about Prokofiev’s secretary — Georgiy Nikolaevich Gorchakov in the analysis of previously unknown documentary materials. He was the musician, who deciphered Prokofiev’s sheet music and literary manuscripts, and who took his dictation. For years he was an agent of the composer’s musical and literary ideas and he brought to completion some large-scale Prokofiev’s scores. Besides, they were bound by the same belief — Christian Science. Gorchakov’s letters — his narrations to Prokofiev about himself — update the knowl edge about ordinary Russian people’s immigration experience. They tackle not only the world of music, but also Côte d’Azur’s everyday life: navigation and scouting, in which Prokofiev — a father of growing boys — appeared to be interested. Certainly the descrip tion of Prokofiev and Gorchakov’s communication wouldn’t be complete without outlining the mundane everyday life of the music publishing house and nerve-wracking preparations for the coming concert which was missing some orchestral parts, and other colorful details. A more accurate date for the publication of Things in Themselves could be considered a significant discovery in Prokofiev’s historiography.

Purpose: Bodybuilding becomes more visible and acceptable within mainstream society thanks to social media, which is promoting, and developing grooving interest in bodies, fit-ness and active lifestyle. However, this is concerning knowing that according to the latest world anti-doping agency report bodybuilding is one of two sports with the highest number of Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRVs) committed by athletes. This study aimed to evaluate doping attitudes and correlates of doping attitudes in top level body builders. Methods: Study included 26 competitive bodybuilders form Croatia. Variables were collect-ed by a previously validated Questionnaire of Substance Use (QSU). Statistical procedures included means and standard deviations (for parametric variables), frequencies and percent-ages (for ordinal and nominal variables). Spearman’s correlations were calculated to deter-mine associations between studied variables. Results: The most positive attitudes are found towards injectable anabolic steroids (mean ± standard deviation; 4.00 ± 1.52), followed by fat burners (3.73 ± 1.46), growth hormone (3.69 ± 1.64), and estrogen blockers (3.60 ± 1.22), oral anabolic steroids (3.58 ± 1.27). Sig-nificant correlation was identified between: (i) result achieved in bodybuilding (RBB) and alcohol consumption, (R= -0.57 p < 0.05) (ii) RBB and subjective knowledge on nutrition (R=0.66, p < 0.05), (iii) RBB and subjective knowledge on doping (R=0.72, p < 0.05). Conclusion: The lack of correlation between self-perceived competence and objectively eval-uated knowledge on nutrition is alarming due to the possible “anchoring effect”, accordingly even though objective knowledge is not correlated with attitudes towards doping substances, it is important to properly educate athletes who are in the misconception of their true knowl-edge.

Alois Riegl’s essay “Die Stimmung als Inhalt der modernen Kunst” (1899) has been one of art historiography’s early attempts to bridge art and science. In this text, Riegl not only presents the background of some of his theoretical and methodological premises but he also provides an overarching argument for the way natural sciences af- fect modern spectatorship. In this way, he establishes the basis of a Kunstwollen for the ‘age of the natural sciences’ and describes its appropriate artistic traits. Addressing the intellectual and historical context of the Stimmung Essay, this article shows how Riegl’s ideas work in a subtle and intricate manner, involving the combination of sensual and phenomenological observations to modes of knowl- edge. In this respect, the relation of art and science does not seem to be settled on a fixed contemplative basis but on the combination of the art with cognition and affects.

Palabras clave: Walter Benjamin - Jacques Rancière - Reinhart Koselleck – tiempo histórico – historiografíaAbstract:In the current state of interdisciplinary relations among scientific knowl- edge, history – as a scientific discipline –would pose a particular situation. It is not a pure knowledge closed in the specificity of a specialist language, but a composition of knowledge about multiple heterogeneous temporali- ties converging in the very subject of its scientific exercise, that is, looking into the past. Thus, theoretical positions about historical knowledge, such Walter Benjamin’s, Jacques Rancière’s and Reinhart Koselleck’s, account for this disciplinary opening of history towards knowledge and times comprising it. A study about the concept of “historical time” and the figure of the historian in these thinkers is the task we have proposed to demonstrate it.Keywords: Walter Benjamin - Jacques Rancière - Reinhart Koselleck – historical time – historiographyResumo:No estado atual das relações interdisciplinares dos saberes científicos, a história, como disciplina científica, proporia uma situação particular.
