In this paper an overview of arc welding control systems is given. At first some basic physical background of the process is given. Then the two most important subtypes Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) are presented in some detail. In order to understand the logic of feedback control systems, the most essential control theory is outlined shortly. In the overview of control systems a feedback signal is used a means of division. The analysis of recent research papers in the area has shown that recently image processing based control systems seem to be the most popular ones.

Multiple antennas can be arranged in various geometrical configurations to form antenna array with high directive radiation pattern. Linear antennas are limited in their steering capability. The circular arrays ar   more popular in recent years over other array geometries because they have the capability to perform the scan in all the directions and considerable change in the beam pattern which provide 3600 total coverage. Circular arrays are less sensitive to mutual coupling as compared to linear and rectangular arrays since they do not have edge elements. They can be used for beam forming in the azimuth plane for example at the base stations of the mobile radio communication systems as the components for signal processing. FFA design method of circular apertures for narrow beam width and low side lobes has been reported by Taylor. It includes the development of continuous circular aperture distributions, which contain only two independent parameters, A & , where A is related to the design of side lobe level and  is a number controlling the degree of uniformity of the side lobes.

Differential implementation is becoming highly favoured in RFIC (radio frequency integrated circuit) design, notably its high immunity to common-mode noises, acceptable rejection of parasitic coupling, and increased dynamic range. One specific RF front-end building block that is usually designed as a differential circuit is the mixer.  This technical paper presents a study of a differential mixer, notably the double-balanced mixer implemented on a direct-conversion architecture in a standard 90nm CMOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) process.  Operating frequency is set at 5GHz, which is a typical frequency for RF (radio frequency) receiver.   Impedance matching was essential to fully optimize the mixer design.  The direct-conversion double-balance mixer design eventually achieved conversion gain of 11.463dB and noise figure of 16.529dB, comparable to mixer designs from past research and studies.

Finally,we formulate the essential experi- ment teaching norms and standards regarding the required knowledge for experiment,experiment skills,technical methods for experi- ment,practice capacity and comprehensive qualification. The norms and standards have proven to generate fruitful and positive effects on experiment teaching.

A special point was found in the frequency characteristics of the oscillatory circuit, which was not mentioned earlier in textbooks on electrical engineering and radio engineering. The module of complex resistance of the circuit does not depend on the value of the active resistance at a frequency less than  times that of the resonance. The material is of interest to all engineers and scientists specializing in electrical engineering. On its basis, new methods for measuring the parameters of electrical circuits can be developed. Physical interpretation of the phenomenon doesn't exist at the moment.

In order to study the impacts of the stator magnetic pull per unit area (MPPUA) characteristics under different field winding inter-turn short-circuit (FWISC) degrees in generator, comparative study of 3D numerical simulations and experiments are respectively taken to calculate the quantitative data of stator MPPUA by finite-element method (FEM) in this paper. Firstly, the nature exciting force of stator vibration, which is called MPPUA, is carried out. Then simulations data on MPPUA under normal condition and different short-circuit degrees are obtained. Finally, the variation rules of MPPUA characteristics by experiments under different conditions are studied. The results show that in normal condition the main harmonic components of MPPUA consist of only 6th-harmonic component. However, the occurrence of FWISC will bring in extra 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th-harmonic components to MPPUA. Meanwhile, with the increasing of the rotor short circuit degrees, the amplitudes of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th-harmonic components will present an increasing trend. However, the amplitudes of 6th-harmonic component will present a decrease trend.
