The present study provides an effective technique of improving properties of leachate effected soil using bio-enzyme named TERRAZYME.Soil pollution is an consequence especially in a country like INDIA unscientific disposal and dumping of solid waste leads to generation of leachate. High concentration of leachate has less pH value (i.e., acidic in nature) which reduces the particle size. Due to reduction in particle size the properties of soil are also effected. A laboratory testing program was carried out on soil to determine the behavior of leachate effected soil and terrazyme. For that we performed particle size analysis, compaction and California bearing ratio tests on 5% 10% and 15% leachate effected soil to vary the degree of contamination.Terrazyme is a natural non-toxic, non-flammable, non-corrosive liquid enzyme formulated fermented from vegetables that improves the engineering qualities of soil, facilitates higher soil compaction densities and increases stability. It can be used as soil stabilizer and also improve CBR value, durability and decreases the omc, plasticity index of soil. Terrazyme on soil is permanent and soil becomes biodegradable in nature. So we used terrazyme as a stabilizing agent to improve the properties of leachate effected soil. By using this enzyme we can improve the strength effectively, mainly California bearing ratio

This paper reports a kind of graphene superhydrophobic composite which shows robust resistance to extensive and cyclic stretching, oil contamination, knife-scratch, hand-rub, sandpaper abrasion, heat treatment and corrosive liquid attack. Moreover, this superhydrophobic composite is also a sensitive electromechanical sensor.

The paper present aspects about the structural modification of CuZn alloy obtained by casting and used to manufacture the housing which works in corrosive liquid mediums. The analyzed alloy has a chemical composition determine by spectral quantitative analysis, with an optic spectrometer type Foundry Masters, using cooper analysis base. The structural modifications, both in cast state, also after corrosion studies, have highlighted by SEM, at 500x and 2000x magnitude. The experiments were made on samples, with specific dimensions for each analysis.

In this paper, an experimental-theoretical method is suggested for defining physical-mechanical characteristics of polymer materials with regard to influence of corrosive liquid media. Experimental dependences of mechanical characteristics on a swelling function are given for a series of polymer materials. One dimensional and three-dimensional linear-elastic models of body deformation with regard to influence of corrosive liquid media are suggested. A new phenomenon, bulging of a polymer strip rigidly fastened by both ends because of swilling forces, is established. The stability criterion is given for a strip made of a polymer material situated under the action of swelling forces only.

The importance of fast-closed valve for mitigating accident sequent when the pipeline of the tanks stored flammable liquids discussed in this paper broken was illuminated through studying on rules and analyzing accident. And the offshore platforms and ships were as example to list the relative codes and rules force requirements on fast-closed valve. By studying the typical process easy ignored in design - leakage due to siphoning effect, and the same time some typical pipelines and fast-closed valve arrangement and the corresponding alternative measures were given. And suggested that the storage tanks stored toxic and corrosive liquid or other dangerous liquids shall install a fast-closed valve or corresponding alternative measures in its pipeline for reducing the accident consequences due to leakage.
