Abstract Background: We initiated to prepare the basic data that could help us to understand the characteristics of patients with physiological halitosis symptoms in Korea and aid in explaining the causes of these symptoms. Methods: We collected questionnaire and dietary analysis results from the data of 246 adult patients diagnosed with physiological halitosis symptoms, collected the data from the patients’ salivary measurements and the analysis data of patients’ tongue and throat management status. Using the SPSS (IBM SPSS™, Ver. 22.0) program, we performed a frequency analysis, calculating the correlation coefficient Phi with an independence test.Results: The mean age and one standard deviation of 246 patients with physiological halitosis was 41.85±11.63 years. The proportion of women, the proportion of patients who replaced breakfast with fast food or skipped breakfast, with beverage drinking habits such as coffee, tea, or carbonated drink, with irregular or insufficient consumption of water, who recognized their own oral malodor, suffering anxiety or stress over oral malodor, with an introverted personality, with insufficient unstimulated salivation volume, with incorrect tongue management, and with PND (Postnasal drip) or PTC (Posterior Tongue Coating) were all statistically analyzed to be significant (p < 0.05). As a result of the correlation analysis, the Phi values of the seven pairs of the bivariate variables were from 0.137 to 0.196, and the Phi values of the five pairs of the bivariate variables - the Phi value between the breakfast pattern variable and the regular diet variable, the Phi value between the stimulating menu variable and the drinking variable, the Phi value between the unstimulated saliva variable and the stimulated saliva variable, the Phi value between the unstimulated saliva variable and the sedimentation ratio of saliva variable, and the Phi value between the stimulated saliva variable and the sedimentation ratio of saliva variable - were from 0.203 to 0.394 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: We could suggest the 10 potential common risk factors related to physiological halitosis symptom, and the five pairs of variables with Phi values ranging from 0.20 to 0.40 could be judged to have a moderate correlation.

This study aimed to evaluate the amplitude and pattern of mouth opening in patients treated with occlusal plaque (OP) after 1 and 3 months of treatment. The mouth opening pattern was assessed using the metric method and the mouth opening amplitude of 23 patients treated with occlusal plaque (OP; N = 23). All patients were diagnosed with TMD according to axis 1 of the RDC/TMD (Research Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders). The collected data were evaluated using the SPSS program using the Wilcoxon, Kruskal Wallis, and Fisher’s exact Chi Square tests. The OP showed a satisfactory performance in the opening pattern variable, maintaining the same pattern as the patient throughout the treatment time (P = 0.003). In the variable of maximum opening amplitude, the therapy showed a significant improvement in amplitude gain in the initial time and after one month of therapy (P = 0.002), maintaining the amplitude until the third month, without presenting significant gain. It was concluded that OP has a satisfactory performance for the treatment of TMD when the opening pattern and the mean maximum opening amplitude are analyzed without assistance.

This study aims to test and provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, socialization of SAK EMKM, understanding of accounting, level of education about the intention of implementing SAK EMKM by MSME owners with environmental uncertainty as a moderating variable. This study has some effect relationship pattern variable against another, either directly or through other variables as moderation. The results showed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and understanding of accounting had an effect on the intention to apply SAK EMKM, while the socialization of SAK EMKM and the level of education had no effect on the intention to apply SAK EMKM. The results of the moderating variable test show that environmental uncertainty cannot moderate the perceived usefulness, perceived convenience, socialization of SAK EMKM, understanding of accounting, and the level of education in the application of SAK EMKM.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine whether there is an effect of scouting education activities on increasing the value of the social care character of students at MTs Plus Al-Hadi. In this study, researchers used a regression quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 71 students. The data analysis technique used statistical formulas, namely simple linear regression and multiple regression. The sampling technique in this study using saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. From the results of this study, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) based on the results of the tcount of 2.782 and ttable of 1.66724, (tcount> ttable) the coaching pattern variable has an influence on increasing the value of social care character in MTs Plus Al-Hadi; 2) Based on the results of tcount of 5.386 and ttable of 1.66724, (tcount> ttable) the activeness of participating in scouts has an effect on increasing the value of social care character in MTs Plus Al-Hadi; 3) Fcount: 16.535 and Ftable 3.13; means Fcount> Ftable at a 5% error rate, the significance level is 0.000 <0.05 (= 5%), then scouting activities have an influence on increasing the value of social care characters in MTs Plus Al-Hadi.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kegiatan pendidikan kepramukaan terhadap peningkatan nilai karakter peduli sosial siswa MTs Plus Al-Hadi. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif regresi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 71 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus statistik yaitu regresi linier sederhana dan regresi berganda. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Berdasarkan hasil thitung 2,782 dan ttabel 1,66724, (thitung> ttabel) variabel pola pembinaan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai karakter peduli sosial. di MTs Plus Al-Hadi; 2) Berdasarkan hasil thitung sebesar 5,386 dan t tabel sebesar 1,66724 (thitung> ttabel) keaktifan mengikuti pramuka berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai karakter peduli sosial di MTs Plus Al-Hadi; 3) Fhitung: 16.535 dan Ftabel 3.13; Berarti Fhitung> Ftabel pada taraf kesalahan 5%, taraf signifikansi 0,000 <0,05 (= 5%), maka kegiatan pramuka berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai karakter peduli sosial di MTs Plus Al-Hadi.

With survey data from the National Study of Youth and Religion (NSYR), this study investigates the association between across-time consistency in closeness to God and well-being. I focus on God-believing individuals who are Protestant, Catholic, or Latter-day Saint, and present across Waves 1–3 (n = 1,333). Outcomes include Wave 3 psychological resources (i.e., life purpose and personal mastery) and life satisfaction. Key predictors include two novel indicators of across-time consistency in closeness to God: (1) a four-category pattern variable and (2) a discrete numeric summary score. The pattern variable indicates respondents who become less close to God across time fare worse than those who remain consistently close to God. In addition, respondents consistently distant from God did not differ from their consistently close counterparts in terms of life purpose and personal mastery. The summary score indicates high levels of consistency in closeness to God predict high levels of life purpose and satisfaction.

Abstrak - Tujuan  penelitian   adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh penerapan pola komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Biro Komunikasi Layanan Masyarakat Kemdikbud Jakarta. Sampel  dalam penelitian ini  sebanyak 50 orang karyawan dari 102 populasi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan  kuesioner dan  diolah dengan  analisis regresi sederhana. Uji  instrumen penelitian dengan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t (parsial), dan analisis koefisien determinasi dengan bantuan software SPSS 21 for Windows. Dari hasil uji deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa responden yang memberikan penilaian terhadap indikator komunikasi dari atas kebawah dalam kategori tinggi yaitu sebanyak 8 orang (16%), responden yang memberikan penilaian dalam kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak 35 orang (70%), dan responden yang memberikan penilaian dalam kategori rendah yaitu sebanyak 7 orang (14%). Responden yang memberikan penilaian terhadap variabel pola komunikasi dari bawah ke atas dalam kategori tinggi yaitu sebanyak 8 orang (16%), responden yang memberikan penilaian terhadap variabel pola komunikasi dari bawah keatas dalam kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak 34 orang (68%), dan responden yang memberikan penilaian dalam kategori rendah yaitu sebanyak 8 orang (16%). Responden yang memberikan penilaian terhadap indikator variabel pola komunikasi horizontal dalam kategori tinggi yaitu sebanyak 8 orang (16%), responden yang memberikan penilaian dalam kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak 35 orang (70%), dan responden yang memberikan penilaian dalam kategori rendah yaitu sebanyak 7 orang (14%). Pola komunikasi horizontal mayoritas dinilai dalam kategori sedang (70%). Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien maka penerapan pola komunikasi memberikan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 48,9% terhadap kinerja pegawai, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 100% - 48,9% = 51,1%, disebabkan oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak diteliti. Berdasarkan hasil uji t diatas dapat diketahui variabel Pola Komunikasi (X) memiliki nilai thitung 6,779 > ttabel 1,667. Hal ini berarti variabel pola komunikasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan diperoleh hasil signifikan yang menunjukkan nilai 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pola komunikasi dan kinerja pegawai. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya variabel penerapan pola komunikasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Biro Komunikasi Layanan Masyarakat Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Jakarta. Respondents who gave an assessment of the communication pattern variables from the bottom up in the high category were 8 people (16%), respondents who gave an assessment of the communication pattern variables from the bottom up in the medium category were 34 people (68%), and respondents who gave assessment in the low category as many as 8 people (16%). Respondents who gave an assessment of the variable indicators of horizontal communication patterns in the high category were 8 people (16%), respondents who gave ratings in the medium category were 35 people (70%), and respondents who gave ratings in the low category were 7 people (14%). The majority of horizontal communication patterns are rated in the medium category (70%). Based on the results of the coefficient test, the application of communication patterns contributes an effect of 48.9% to employee performance, while the rest of 100% - 48.9% = 51.1%, is caused by other variables not examined. Based on the results of the t test above it can be seen that the Communication Pattern variable (X) has a thitung of 6.779> ttable 1.667. This means that the communication pattern variable has a positive effect on employee performance, and a significant result is obtained that indicates the value of 0,000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant influence between communication patterns and employee performance. This shows that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that the variable implementation of communication patterns had a positive effect on employee performance at the Public Service Communication Bureau of the Ministry of Education and Culture in Jakarta. The research aims was to describe the structure of a Narrative Essay rhetoric Describing Student primary school teacher education STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau, using qualitative research methods. As for the steps in analyzing the following: a). data analysis will be started from an analysis of the "text" of the text of a collection of short stories which is read repeatedly, b). After that number sort on a collection of short stories, followed by c). give the numbers sort as well on each of the paragraphs in the short story collection, d). Then give the code based on the categories of items that appear in each paragraph (identify text elements), e). Make a general description of the sheet structure of rhetoric that appeared every paragraph, f). Further describes and discusses the results of data analysis, g). Draw conclusions from the results of research. The results of this study show that in general the rhetoric of narrative essay with using theory of generic text labov has a pattern variable that is 1). O contained on the (KR 8 dan KR 18), 2). O – PP contained on the (KR 3, KR 4,KR 5,KR 7, KR 13, KR 17,KR 20, KR 22,KR 24, KR 27, R 28, KR 29, KR, 32,dan KR 34), 3). O – PP – R contained on the ( KR 1, KR 2,KR 6,KR 9,KR 10, KR 11,KR 12,KR 14, KR 16,KR 19, KR 21,KR 23, KR 25 dan KR 26,dan 4). O – PP – R – K contained on the (KR 15,KR 30 dan KR 31). Beside it from 33 describing These consist of 33 bouquet that has elements of orientation (O), the describing has elements of perumitan events (PP) totaled 29 describing while elements of the resolution (R) totaled 17 describing, and last element of koda (K) amounted to 3 wreaths. Despite the introduction of Panchayat Raj Institution in rest of Sikkim, Lachen and Lachung, two villages in North Sikkim have still retained the traditional system of self-governance called Dzumsa. The article brings out how despite the penetration of forces of modernisation, the institution still persists as an effective mode of self-governance system fairly accommodating the developmental roles in the new democratic set up in the state. The article concludes by saying how the mechanical solidarity and collective consciousness in the Durkheimian an sense and Parsonian pattern variable of collective-orientation and particularism still remains intact although faint changes are being noticed in the institution.
