Abstrak.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh gaya hidup dan trend fashion terhadap keputusan pembelian online pada media sosial Instagram. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan kuisioner. Sampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 41 responden. Uji statistic dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structurel Equation Modelling berbasis PLS. Uji validitas menggunakan nilai faktor loading, sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha, reliabilitas komposit dan Average Variance Extracted (AVE). Ada 3 variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu : 2 (dua) variabel bebas (X1  dan X2) dan 1 (satu) variabel terikat, dimana gaya hidup (X1) dan trend fashion (X2) sebagai variabel bebas dan keputusan pembelian (Y) sebagai variabel terikat. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data telah ditemukan jawaban  hipotesis dengan kesimpulan sebagai berikut; gaya hidup berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dan trend fashion berpengaruh positif signfikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.Kata kunci: gaya hidup, trend fashion, keputusan pembelian

In this paper, an automatic voice pathology recognition system is realized. The special features are extracted by the Adaptive Orthogonal Transform method, and to provide their statistical properties we calculated the average, variance, skewness and kurtosis values. The classification process uses two models that are widely used as a classification method in the field of signal processing: Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Multilayer Perceptron (MLP). The proposed system is tested by using a German voice database: the Saarbruecken Voice Database (SVD). The experimental results show that the Adaptive Orthogonal Transform method works perfectly with the Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network, which achieved 98.87% accuracy. On the other hand, the combination of the Adaptive Orthogonal Transform method and Support Vector Machine reached 85.79% accuracy.

The present article includes two studies that have tested the reliability and validity of the Romanian adaptation of the Employee Intrapreneurship Scale (EIS). Intrapreneurship is a relatively novel concept describing proactive behaviors through which employees contribute to the growth and development of organizations they are employed in. The factorial structure and gender invariance of the EIS have been tested in the first sample, including 307 employees with diverse occupational backgrounds. The factorial structure was cross-validated in a second sample, including 122 employees with a similar composition. The second study also established convergent validity of the scale through testing its’ associations to risk-taking, innovativeness, and proactive personality. Discriminant validity was tested using the Average Variance Extracted (AVE) procedure. The results have confirmed a factor structure whereby employee intrapreneurship is composed of two latent indicators: strategic renewal and corporate venturing. Reliability indices and factor loadings have shown a consistent and valid measure of intrapreneurship at the employee level. Furthermore, the concept showed significant positive associations to other constructs in the nomological network, and the AVE indicated satisfactory discriminant validity. Overall, these studies provide a psychometrically valid measure to be used in intrapreneurship research in Romanian organizations.

Many methods have been used in the past two decades to detect crack damage in steel joints of the offshore structures, but the electromechanical impedance (EMI) method is a comparatively recent non-destructive method that can be used for quality monitoring of the weld in structural steel joints. The EMI method ensures the direct assessment, analysis and particularly the recognition of structural dynamics by acquiring its EM admittance signatures. This research paper first briefly introduces the theoretical background of the EMI method, followed by carrying out the experimental work in which damage in the form of a crack is simulated by using an impedance analyser at different distances. The EMI technique is used to identify the existence of damage in the welded steel joints of offshore steel jacket structures, and Q345B steel was chosen as the material for test in the present study. Sub-millimetre cracks were found in four typical welded steel joints on the jacket platform under circulating loads, and root average variance was used to assess the extent of the crack damage.

Abstract Background: The Salzburg Emotional Eating Scale (SEES) and the Emotional Eater Questionnaire (EEQ) are self-reported measures developed to evaluate emotional eating in adults in Western countries. To date, the psychometric properties of the SEES and the EEQ have not been studied among Iranian adults. The aim of the current study is to translate the SEES and the EEQ from English to Persian and examine the psychometric properties of the SEES and EEQ.Method: The sample of this study comprised of 489 Iranian adults who completed the SEES and the EEQ questionnaires online. Results: Findings of face, content, and construct validity tests confirmed that the SEES and the EEQ had acceptable validity and appropriate reliability. The results from confirmatory factor analysis showed acceptable goodness-of-fit indices for two measures. Conclusion: Results of Average Variance Extracted, Construct Reliability, and goodness-of-fit indices showed that the SEES was better for evaluating emotional eating among Iranian adults than the EEQ.

The article aims to analyse and explain the relationship between ethical leadership, organisational deviance. We proposed a theoretical framework arguing a mediatory role of situational factors including psychological safety, psychological attachment, distributive justice, and Leader-Member Exchange (LMX). We also argue that utilitarian based ethical reasoning make employees more responsive towards the ethical decision by the leadership making them less deviant. Empirical validity was established by conducting a survey using a close-ended questionnaire. Data was collected from 254employees and analysed using confirmatory factor analysis and structured equation modelling. The measurement and structure model were assessed using AVE (average variance extracted), Composite Reliability (CR), Cronbach’s alpha, discriminant validity through the Fornell-Larcker Criterion, and Collinearity methods in PLS-SEM. The results suggested a significant and positive effect of ethical leadership on Leader-member-exchange, psychological attachment, distributive justice, and psychological safety. Moreover, apart from distributive justice, all other factors seem to decrease Organisational Deviance, however, their effect remained insignificant. Surprisingly, ethical leadership (EL) seems to be directly instigating Organisational Deviance (OD), as well as through the mediation of distributive justice. However, EL seems to significantly reduce deviance through including Utilitarianism ethical reasoning amongst its followers, as EL seems to positively affect utilitarianism, which in turn negatively affects deviance. Utilitarianism also seems to complement EL in reducing OD directly as the result showed significant and negative complementarities amongst EL and Utilitarianism in explaining OD. The results imply that EL and OD nexus is more affected by ethical reasoning rather than situational factors.

The aim of the study was to develop an inventory to assess traits of creative potential and to analyze its psychometric properties. Three dimensions that could be associated with creative potential were proposed: willingness to transgress, willingness to take on challenges, and willingness to explore. For this purpose 551 participants were chosen to respond to an inventory composed of 12 items: Traits of Creative Potential Questionnaire, (TCPQ-12) and other tests to determine concurrent validity. The correlations between these instruments were significant. In addition, the instrument showed adequate internal consistency (Ω = 0.813) and the exploratory factor analysis yielded salient factors coincident with the proposed dimensions. The confirmatory factor analysis indicated an optimal fit (CFI = 0.984, TLI = 0.979, GFI = 0.963, RMSEA = 0.035). with composite reliability (CR) values > 0.70 in two factors and in one was slightly lower (CR = 0.684). The average variance extracted (AVE) was > 0.5 in two factors and in one < 0.5. The study data allow to highlight that the instrument presented here is a concise instrument with adequate psychometric properties.

The 9-item Interdependent Happiness Scale (IHS; Hitokoto & Uchida, 2015) is a self-report of interpersonal happiness that focuses on relationship-oriented happiness, quiescent happiness, and ordinary happiness. Few studies have evaluated the psychometric properties of the IHS in diverse cultural backgrounds and the findings are inconsistent. This study investigated whether the IHS has sound psychometric qualities in three Asian countries. A sample of 812 university students from Malaysia (n = 263), Philippines (n = 239), and India (n = 310) answered the IHS and self-rated creativity scale. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) supported the second-order structure in the three countries. The IHS showed good reliability and mixed results for construct validity tested using average variance extracted. Meanwhile, concurrent validity was established by showing a positive relationship with creativity score. Moreover, multi-group CFA was performed to test measurement invariance and supported metric and partial scalar invariance. Further analysis using ANCOVA showed that Malaysian participants reported significantly lower scores than their counterparts in the Philippines and India after controlling the impact of creativity. The findings not only shed light on the usefulness of the IHS for young adults in the three countries but also highlight the potential of employing the IHS to assess socially-oriented happiness in diverse cultural contexts. Limitations and applications are discussed.

Self-efficacy scales have been used widely across curriculum and demographic structures, while retaining their objectivity in a specific domain. This pilot study aimed to test the validity and reliability of adapted scales that incorporated four sources of self-efficacy (mastery experiences, vicarious experiences, social persuasion, and emotional and physiological states), as well as science self-efficacy in the Malaysian context. A total of 109 students participated in this study. Data were analyzed through confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), by using the partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) approach. The reliability criteria were determined through outer loading and composite reliability (CR). The assessment of convergent validity was performed using the average variance extracted (AVE), while the discriminant validity of this instrument was confirmed using the heterotrait–monotrait criterion (HTMT), along with the bootstrapping procedure. The CR values were at a satisfactory level, and two indicators were eliminated (PM3 and PMPR6) to improve the AVE values of the construct. All the values were assessed in the HTMT criterion, along with the confidence intervals in the range recommended to prove discriminant validity. The assessment of validity and reliability, through PLS-SEM, indicated that the scales used in this study are valid and statistically reliable.

The coach-parent relationship can significantly influence the sport participation, personal development, and sports performance of young athletes. This study aimed to investigate the coach’s perception of parent’s attitudes regarding competition attitude, the communication with the coach, and the environment during training sessions, taking into account the coaches’ sex, type of institution, or sport modality grouped into individual and collective sports. For this, a total of 159 coaches (22 females and 137 males) responded to the Questionnaire for Sports Coaches about their Opinion on the Attitudes of Fathers and Mothers in Sports (CTPMD). It analyses three factors: (1) competition attitude, (2) communication, and (3) environment. A Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was necessary to assess the model's goodness of fit on each factor and to calculate the Cronbach’s Alpha, the average variance extracted, and the composite reliability to analyze the instrument reliability. Descriptive and inferential analysis was performed through the Mann-Whitney U and Rosenthal r statistical tests. The results showed significant differences in the competition attitude factor regarding type of institution (U = 1964.500; p-value < 0.001; r = 0.31), in favour of public institutions. There were also significant differences in the communication factor according to the coaches’ sex (U = 1112.000; p-value = 0.04; r = 0.16), with females’ coaches perceiving worse communication with parents than male coaches. This could be relevant because it negatively influences adherence to physical activity in children and adolescents, and therefore, their health.
