Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection, is typically presented with acute symptoms affecting upper and lower respiratory systems. As the current pandemic progresses, COVID-19 patients are experiencing a series of nonspecific or atypical extra-pulmonary complications such as systemic inflammation, hypercoagulability state, and dysregulation of the renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system (RAAS). These manifestations often delay testing, diagnosis, and the urge to seek effective treatment. Although the pathophysiology of these complications is not clearly understood, the incidence of COVID-19 increases with age and the presence of pre-existing conditions. This review article outlines the pathophysiology and clinical impact of SARS-CoV-2 infection on extra-pulmonary systems. Understanding the broad spectrum of atypical extra-pulmonary manifestations of COVID-19 should increase disease surveillance, restrict transmission, and most importantly prevent multiple organ-system complications.

Abstract: With the increase in automative population, accident rates are rising rapidly, one of the major reasons is the state of drowsiness or fatigue. Such fatal incidents can be prevented if the driver is warned in time. With time, several drowsiness alarm systems are been implemented, the system monitors driver’s movements through various techniques, one of the most considerable one is face detection, Open Computer Vision is widely used to detect driver’s movements for a long period of time. A comparative study on different types of approach is summarized in this paper. The main agenda is to help the society to understand more about the techniques and find the most convenient method for them. Keywords: Drowsiness, Face Detection, Mouth Yawn Detection, Open Computer Vision

The stomatognathic system is a functional complex of tissues and organs located within the oral and craniofacial cavities. The craniofacial anatomical factors and the biomechanics of the temporomandibular joints affect many systems throughout the body, including the organ of vision. However, few scientific reports have shown a relationship between the organ of vision and the stomatognathic system. The purpose of this review is to provide an overview of connections along neural, muscle-fascial, and biochemical pathways between the organ of vision and the stomatognathic system. Based on the literature presented in this review, the connections between the organ of vision and the stomatognathic system seem undeniable. Understanding the anatomical, physiological, and biochemical interrelationships may allow to explain the interactions between the mentioned systems. According to the current knowledge, it is not possible to indicate the main linking pathway; presumably, it may be a combination of several presented pathways. The awareness of this relationship among dentists, ophthalmologists, physiotherapists, and optometrists should increase for the better diagnosis and treatment of patients.

This paper aims to identify the community's experience and understanding of the COVID-19 vaccination. The author believes that the success of the vaccination program, especially in cases of COVID-19, is closely related to understanding and experience. Therefore, search the data as scientific evidence in many publications. To obtain evidence that becomes the answer to the question of this study, examine it with a phenomenological approach, an attempt to dig up the broadest possible data to understand the problem of this research. This study fully uses secondary descriptive qualitative research data obtained through a database of electronic health journals assisted by a keyword search system. Our data review process involves a system review characterized by coding, data analysis, interpretation, and drawing conclusions based on data validation and reliability principles. Based on the evidence and discussion, can conclude that residents' experience in the COVID-19 vaccination program does not fully understand the Coronavirus. Vaccine candidates do not get help understanding vaccination from suitable sources. The daily rumors about COVID-19 have triggered a lack of public response in responding to all issues related to the pandemic. It is hoped that these findings can be used as review material for similar studies in the future.
