AbstractPosture is a “body’s attitude or the positioning of the limbs when standing or sitting.” There are many examples of different postures which include lordotic posture, swayback posture, flat back, and anterior pelvic tilt. Everyone in some of the other parts of their life considers pain as an unpleasant feeling or sensation that is experienced. Specifically, low back pain can be relentless and daunting to many people who often recovered without the need of a health care professional or any treatment by changing their posture or performing the movement. Various factors are leading to low back pain other than the postural fault, for instance, age, sedentary lifestyle, anxiety, and sleep. However, for back pain, posture has become deep-rooted in people’s thoughts. Health care professionals have instructed people to correct their posture to fight back pain. As people become older, the posture becomes worse, but this does not appear to cause pain. If any person cannot move his/her body, that does not mean that they are having a problem involving posture; that is actually because of a problem relating to movement. A study proved that there is no difference in the lordotic angle of the populace having an issue with LBP. There is a decrease in the range and speed of the movement performed. What matters is the movement rather than the appearance of standing or sitting. The primary aim of this paper is to improve knowledge and understanding of the association between posture and LBP, as, speaking about recent researches, they have observed no association between posture and LBP. There are many studies published to support this evidence. People call the importance of posture and alignment for while performing a heavy deadlift, land a jump, or any strenuous activity. Therefore, an urge to write a paper on this topic is to change the mindset of many people worrying out there about their postural faults or their appearances by providing information about varying their static posture to conform to some ideal and keep moving to improve their function.

Modern life is full of hassles, deadlines, frustrations and demands. For many people, stress is so commonplace that it has become a way of life. Stress is not always bad; stress is a natural human response to the press when faced with challenging and sometimes dangerous situations. Stress is your body’s response to changes in your life. Because life involves constant change ranging from every day, routine changes like commuting from home to work to adapt to major life changes like marriage, divorce, or death of a loved one—there is no avoiding stress. It is a subjective and unpleasant feeling of distress. Every one of us irrespective of our age, sex, education, occupation, socioeconomic status, whether living in rural or urban areas face stress. Yoga is an ancient science, which originated in India and many studies have found that yoga and pranayama can be practised to manage and combat stress. Yoga is a form of exercise which is about 5000 years old and originated in India. The word yoga is derived from “Yuj” which means union or joining. It is a dynamic expression of life in terms of how joyful, loving and enthusiastic you are.

Pain is a physiological process. As many as 12% - 67% of women are worried about the pain that will be experienced during childbirth. One of the efforts to reduce pain is massage. is a condition in the form of a very pleasant unpleasant feeling, because the feeling of pain is different for each person in terms of scale or level. One technique to reduce pain is back massage. The theory shows that back massage is effective intermittently during labor. But at that time back massage was not done because they did not know that back massage could reduce pain. This study uses a systematic review method with the aim of seeing an effective method in overcoming labor pain. This systematic review examines articles and journals via the Google Scoolar site from 7 journals. Based on this system review, it can be guaranteed that back massage can reduce the intensity of pain in labor.

Anxiety is a complex emotion characterized by an unpleasant feeling of tension when people anticipate a threat or negative consequence. It is regarded as a comprehensive reflection of human thought processes, physiological arousal, and external stimuli. The actual state of emotion can be represented objectively by human physiological signals. This study aims to analyze the differences of ECG (electrocardiogram) characteristics for various types of drivers under anxiety. We used several methods to induce drivers’ mood states (calm and anxiety) and then conducted the real and virtual driving experiments to collect driver’s ECG signal data. Physiological changes in ECG during the experiments were recorded using the PSYLAB software. The independent sample t-test analysis was conducted to determine if there are significant differences in ECG characteristics for different types of drivers in anxious state during driving. The results show that there are significant differences in ECG signal characteristics of drivers by gender, age, and driving experience, in time domain, frequency domain, and waveform under anxiety. Our findings of this study contribute to the development of more intelligent and personalized driver warning system, which could improve road traffic safety.

Abstract Dental cavity represent one of the widespread illness of the tooth. Method for treating of the tooth is to drill the cavity and to fill the hole with suitable material. Measurements show that during drilling the tooth vibrates with increasing mass that causes unpleasant feeling for patient. The aim of the paper is to give the theoretical explanation for this phenomena and to give suggestion for vibration elimination. During drilling, mass of the tooth is decreasing and the so called ‘reactive force’ occurs. Drilling and reactive force cause tooth vibration. The system is modeled as a nonlinear time variable system. An analytical procedure for solving of the equation of vibration is developed. The solution is assumed in the form of the generalized trigonometric function with time variable amplitude and phase. It is obtained that not only the amplitude but also the frequency of tooth vibration in drilling are increased. In addition to reactive force the drilling velocity, diameter of the drill tool and spindle speed affect the vibration level. The appropriate values of these parameters would eliminate or decrease the patient bad feeling.

BACKGROUND፡ Peri-operative anxiety is a vague, unpleasant feeling, the source of which is often nonspecific and unknown to the individual. It affects all aspects of anesthesia. Although the magnitude and consequences of preoperative anxiety are well documented in the developed world, there are limited studies conducted in Ethiopia. The primary aim of this study is to produce the Amharic version of APAIS and evaluate its validity in assessing the prevalence of preoperative anxiety in surgical patients.METHODS: A cross-cultural adaptation process using a forward/backward translation of the APAIS scale was performed. The Amharic version was then tested in 365 sampled elective adult surgical patients scheduled for surgery at Tikur Anbessa specialized Hospital. The validity of the translated version was also checked by evaluating its psychometric properties of internal validity and acceptability.Result: The results showed that the reliability of the APAISAmharic was high (Cronbach's alpha of 0.87) and the data collected was a good fit (RMSEA of 0.04). In addition, the questionnaire was well-accepted 100% with no missing values for each dimension of the APAIS. The mean APAIS scores for total anxiety and desire for information were 11.6 and 6.0 respectively and 58.9% of the study participants had anxiety and those patients, who had some form of formal education, came from urban areas, had previous anesthesia experience and complications and who had average or high information requirement was more likely to be anxious.CONCLUSION: APAIS-Amharic is a reliable and acceptable tool for measuring patients’ preoperative anxiety and their need for information. It can be used routinely as a screening instrument at pre-anesthesia clinics to assess patients’ level of anxiety.

This paper presents a simple technique for improving the quality of the halftoning-based block truncation coding (H-BTC) decoded image. The H-BTC is an image compression technique inspired from typical block truncation coding (BTC). The H-BTC yields a better decoded image compared to that of the classical BTC scheme under human visual observation. However, the impulsive noise commonly appears on the H-BTC decoded image. It induces an unpleasant feeling while one observes this decoded image. Thus, the proposed method presented in this paper aims to suppress the occurring impulsive noise by exploiting a deep learning approach. This process can be regarded as an ill-posed inverse imaging problem, in which the solution candidates of a given problem can be extremely huge and undetermined. The proposed method utilizes the convolutional neural networks (CNN) and residual learning frameworks to solve the aforementioned problem. These frameworks effectively reduce the impulsive noise occurrence, and at the same time, it improves the quality of H-BTC decoded images. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of subjective and objective measurements.

Introduction. Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the bladder or inflammatory pseudotumor is benign in nature. It is also known as a pseudotumor, because it macroscopically mimics infiltrative tumors of the bladder. The first inflammatory pseudotumor ever described was found in the lungs. In the 80s of the last century, it was first described in the urinary bladder. Its etiology is unknown and the incidence is extremely rare. Case Report. We present a case of a 46-year-old man who came to the Emergency Center for the first time due to an unpleasant feeling when urinating, painless hematuria and appearance of blood clots during urination. An urgent diagnosis revealed a tumor mass in the bladder. Additional diagnostics and surgical treatment was performed by transurethral electroresection of the urinary bladder. After the histopathological examination, an inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the bladder was diagnosed. The patient was discharged on the third day of admission. On control examinations, the patient underwent only cystoscopy and ultrasonography. No recurrences were observed. Conclusion. A review of the available literature showed that in such cases, after transurethral resection of bladder tumor, most urologists opted for more radical surgical procedures. After a two-year follow-up, we proved that a tumor of the bladder can be kept under control after transurethral resection of bladder tumor, without recurrence, by regular monitoring using ultrasonography and cystoscopy.

Biofeedback was reported as an effective concept for bruxism treatment, through increasing patient’s awareness of the habit. During bruxing both ear canals become tighter, therefore, an in-ear device can provide biofeedback. The in-ear device is fitted to the ear canal in physiological status, during bruxing the ear-canal tightens resulting in stress on the canal walls and unpleasant feeling. Subsequently, patients stop their bruxing habit. The aim of this study is to provide first clinical evidence that in-ear devices have a positive impact on relieving bruxism in patients. Despite the low number of patients, this early study was designed as a controlled prospective study. The trial included seven female patients with a median age of 47.3 years (23–64 years). Only two patients implemented their devices for eight and seven months, respectively. One patient reported a relief in her symptoms, like headaches and pain intensity during the night, by 50% after three month and 80% after six months. Despite the limited number of participants, the study reflects a potential of Intra-aural devices as effective biofeedback devices in treating bruxism.

Hypertension is one type of disease that is usually experienced by adults, where arteries have excessive pressure, which is above 140 mm Hg for systolic and diastolic 90 mm Hg. Hypertension is not only a physical experience, but also needs to be understood as a psychological and social experience. Health is a social problem because it is related to how a person finances his health and access appropriate health facilities. The purpose of this study was to obtain psychosocial dynamics in the experience of hypertension in patients with low socioeconomic status. This study used a qualitative method with an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach through semi-structured interviews. Three participants involved were female, aged 30 to 45 years, and had more than one year suffered from hypertension. This study found six superordinate themes that focused on perceptions of causes, perceptions of hypertension, unpleasant feeling, social resources, improvement efforts, and health development.
