Abstract The TTM (Total Traceability Management) is becoming a mandatory process requested by all OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturing) as a system to be deployed by the relevant suppliers. Process parameters from the machines are gathered by the TTM software and based on a defined algorithm the product is receiving new statuses, as physical and software characteristics. Given the high complexity of the current process flows, the highly automated lines and cells, the increased amount of process parameters, the necessity of synchronizing various production steps, it is needed that a simulation process to be done in advance of the full process deployment. The paper work reviews both the mathematical apparatus that underlies the simulation, and one of the various available simulation programs in academia. It is used one of the most usual software for simulation SIMQuick which is based on statistical methodologies. SIMQuick performs a virtual simulation of the process being used in various areas of activity including production in automotive, automation, supply chain processes and services, providing the valuable data for the behavior of the process and providing the premises for layout, flows, and resources improvements. The supply chain software ERP requirements with TTM technical inputs and outputs are the data pillars for the simulation which are presented as a result of the research.

Propolis is a sticky resinous substance collected from buds, leaves, stems of wild plants and processed by bees, which has bactericidal properties and which they use to seal openings in the hive, polish the walls of wax cells, embalm the corpses of enemies. The analysis of research and publications gives grounds to conclude that Ukraine has not yet paid sufficient attention to the conditions of propolis production. There are no devices and equipment to improve the process of production of safe and high-quality propolis, which will meet the high requirements of regulatory acts on the quality and safety of food products and raw materials. Currently, apiaries use methods of collecting propolis, which require considerable human labor, are not economically efficient, and the resulting product does not meet the quality requirements of market operators. Therefore, there is a need to improve existing technologies for obtaining propolis, to improve sanitary-hygienic conditions of production, to increase productivity and economic efficiency, mechanization, and automation of the production process. The goal of our work was to develop a new propolis collecting device. The work was carried out as a part of the dissertation research at the Department of Standardization and Certification of Agricultural Products of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine during 2020–2021. A new propolis collecting device has been designed and manufactured. The design of the device shafts and the principle of mechanical cleaning of the grids from the propolis, laid down during its development, can be used to develop highly automated lines for cleaning the grids. The use of the device in industrial apiaries in countries with tropical and subtropical climates is possible by placing the device in honeycomb storage, if available, or in a manufacturing area equipped with air conditioning. For a good cleaning of the grids with propolis using the device, it is sufficient to cool the grids at a temperature of +5 °C for 60–90 minutes, depending on the type of propolis. The device can be used at apiaries in Ukraine and other countries where the production of propolis from bee colonies is carried out using elastic grids. The use of the device ensures the production of pure propolis without mechanical impurities, which meets the requirements of current legislation. The developed device is patented, a patent № 139736 “Propolis collecting device”.

We introduce a new approach for online and offline soft fault diagnosis in motor power cables, utilizing periodic burst injection and nonintrusive capacitive coupling. We focus on diagnosing soft faults because local cable modifications or soft faults that occur without any indication while the cable is still operational can eventually develop into hard faults; furthermore, advance diagnosis of soft faults is more beneficial than the later diagnosis of hard faults, with respect to preventing catastrophic production stoppages. Both online and offline diagnoses with on-site diagnostic ability are needed because the equipment in the automated lines operates for 24 h per day, except during scheduled maintenance. A 1D CNN model was utilized to learn high-level features. The advantages of the proposed method are that (1) it is suitable for wiring harness cables in automated factories, where the installed cables are extremely short; (2) it can be simply and identically applied for both online and offline diagnoses and to a variety of cable types; and (3) the diagnosis model can be directly established from the raw signal, without manual feature extraction and prior domain knowledge. Experiments conducted with various fault scenarios demonstrate that this method can be applied to practical cable faults.

In area of manufacturing, the indices of each manufacturing machine are the productivity and goodness of products. The theory of reliability is closely related to Indices of productivity, the both theories the efficiency of machines, and optimizations one. The reliability of machines has been guessed by standard indices of the theory of reliability. The main index of reliability of every manufacturing machine is its availability. However, indicated the reliability of industrial machines with complicate design have not expressed in equations of the productivity. These indices of accuracy should be a component of equations of a productivity of a machine and reflects changes of a productivity rate one on changes of indices of reliability and mechanical parameters of a machine. The availability has been included the equations of the machines productivity rate, therefore the reliability of machines is the integrated indication. The machines reliability with complicate design such as automated lines relies also on construction and technical data. The output modelling has been reported the output result with availability for the automated lines, defining their structures according to the grade of reliability and productivity as a task of technical motif of manufacturing machines with complex designs.

This paper discusses the design of automated lines, taking into account the use of industrial robots to perform technological operations. When planning manufacturing processes, as well as the placement of process equipment and robots in the production area, optimization techniques are usually used to ensure critical performance and efficiency indicators. The considered design methods are shown on the example of an automated line for the production of lithium-ion batteries. To design this line, 3D CAD models of technological equipment and transport lines were built. Based on the results of time analysis, those technological operations were opted, for which it would be advisable to use robots. The design of the robotic production for the technological operations was carried out using ABB robots. The robots required were chosen from the ABB catalog by weight, size of work area, speed and power. The plan of the robotic zones was drawn up using the ABB RobotStudio software, which allows visualizing the movements and programming robots off-line.

As a result of experimental and statistical modeling, dependencies were obtained that establish the effect of polishing modes (the number of passes of the polishing wheel, the value of the wheel tightness) on the roughness and thickness of the chrome coating obtained by the method of deformation cladding with a flexible tool. It was found that within the selected intervals of variation of the factors, an increase in the tightness of the polishing wheel and the number of passes of the wheel leads to a decrease in both the parameter of the roughness Ra and the thickness of the coating, however, with different degrees of intensity. The number of passes of the polishing wheel has a decisive effect on the value of the surface roughness of the clad layer after polishing. The effect of polishing modes on the thickness of the cladded coating is more complex, since it is demonstrated both in the individual comparable influence of both factors and in their interaction. The optimal modes of polishing of hydraulic cylinder rods subjected to chromium plating by the method of deformation cladding with a flexible tool have been determined. After the experimental check in the conditions of JSC “Minsk Automated Lines Plant named after P.M. Masherov” (Republic of Belarus), the established technological modes of polishing were added to the technological process of chromium plating of rods. It confirms the effectiveness of using the calculated dependencies.

The principles of selection and creation of rational methods of disposal and recycling of wastes are based on the fact that the problem of waste is an interconnected environmental-economic and technological problem, and the waste itself should be considered as technogenic raw materials of complex organo-mineral composition. Therefore, the main purpose of the work is to define methods for recycling waste and their environmental aspects. To achieve this goal, the methods of analysis, spectroscopy were used. It is determined that the final treatment of waste, to date, means either their disposal in a landfill or incineration, which adversely affects the environment. Methods for identifying the material of the object, as well as algorithms for the selection and recognition of objects by processing data from the computer vision system are considered. High accuracy is shown in 94.12% identification of plastic polymers.

Today additive technologies are one of the most dynamically developing types of «digital» production. They allow to achieve acceleration of the solution of problems of preparation and adjustment of production and are already actively applied and to production of finished goods. Additive technologies are a part of industrial robots (IR). On their basis there is a possibility of the organization of complexes with a possibility of fast adjustment and readjustment which, in the majority, are intended for building in the flexible automated lines of additive production. The greatest efficiency of automation of layer-by-layer synthesis at the expense of IR can be reached due to the comprehensive approach to a question of creation and introduction of quality assurance systems considering features of structure and mechanisms of work of the additive installation. To control the quality of layer-by-layer synthesis by means of the control system of the additive installation, it is necessary to take into account the structural features of the 3D-Lapper. An important role in the work of additive plants is played by the properties of the polymers used in bulk printing, which affect the quality of the final product.
