Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the response of sofosbuvir and velpatasvir combination in chronic hepatitis C with hemodialysis patients. Study Design: Prospective/observational study Place and Duration: The study was conducted at department of Nephrology Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital, Swat for duration of six months from 1st July to 31st December, 2020. Methods: Total 27 patients of both genders were presented in this study. Patients were aged between 18-85 years. Patients details demographics age, sex and body mass index were recorded after taking written consent. Patients diagnosis hepatitis C with recognized genotypes were presented. Enrolled patients received combination of sofosbuvir and velpatasvir regime (SOF/VLP) for 14 weeks and follow up was taken. Effectiveness and safety among HCV patients on hemodialysis were observed. Complete data was analyzed by SPSS 22.0 version. Results: Out of 27 patients 17 (62.96%) were males 10 (37.04%) were females. Mean age of the patients was 35.14±5.18 years with mean BMI 24.41±6.25 kg/m2. Hypertension was the most common comorbidity found in 15 (55.55%) patients followed by obesity 8 (29.63%) and diabetes found in 3 (14.81%). Among 27 cases 20 (74.04%) were naïve and 7 (25.96%) were treatment experienced. Sustained virological response was found in 26 (96.3%) and 1(3.7%) patients were lost at follow up. Significantly improvement was found in hemoglobin level 12.11 ± 5.24, alanine aminotransferase (ALT) 28.51 ± 9.62 and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) 35.24 ± 7.08 after treatment. Headache, fatigue and nausea were the most common adverse outcomes. Conclusion: We concluded in this study that the use of sofosbuvir and velpatasvir was effective safe and well tolerated in the treatment of hepatitis C patients with hemodialysis. This study aims to explore patient and nurse perceptions of patient safety to increase patient engagement so that patients can be aware of patient safety in the Hospital Hemodialysis Unit. This research method uses qualitative methods of conducting in-depth interviews with patients and medical personnel. The results of this study indicate that overall the patients said they were satisfied with the services provided; this was evidenced by the patient feeling very well known by the medical staff, both nurses and doctors. In conclusion, this kinship relationship is highly valued by the patient and accompanying family so that patients can be open to medical personnel so that effective communication can be well established.   Keywords: Hemodialysis, Patient Engagement, Patient Safety

The study aimed to determine the description of the analysis of 0.9% NaCl compresses to reduce post-Fertula AV insertion pain in patients with chronic renal failure during hemodialysis. The research design is a simple descriptive research method with a case study approach, and administration of 0.9% NaCl compress therapy. The study results during the compress pain reduction occurred in the subject I and subject II; there was no allergy, both questions looked comfortable, there were no complaints of increased pain, no gestures or expressions that showed massive pain when compressed. Complaints of pain felt by the two subjects from the first hour to the fourth hour always experience a decrease in pain scale. In conclusion, there is a decrease in pain scale in question I and subject II between 2-1 every time it is compressed for four meetings.   Keywords: Hemodialysis, AV Fistula Insertion, 0.9% NaCl Compress, Pain

Background:  Patients with hemodialysis always increase every year. In Indonesia the number of active hemodialysis in 2016 increased by 72.29% from 2015. The success of hemodialysis can be seen from the clinical condition of the patient, especially Interdialitic Weigh Giant (IDWG) and blood pressure. Therefore, it is very important to study related  factors to IDWG and blood pressure in hemodialysis patients. Objective: This study aims to describe related factors  to IDWG and blood pressure in hemodialysis patients. Methods: This is a quantitative descriptive analytic research. Number of samples is 65 hemodialysis patients using random technique. Result: Based on the Spearman correlation test showed that statistically, there is a correlation between  gender and  IDWG p 0,024 < 0,05, Exercise and Intradialysis diastolic blood pressure with p 0,000 <0,05 (r = 0,46), comorbidities with Intradialysis diastolic blood pressure p 0,000 < 0,05 and fluid intake with intradialysis  systolic blood pressure p 0,031 <0,05 (r = 0.28).  Conclusion: It is assumed that gender, exercise, comorbidities and fluid intake are related to IDWG and blood pressure. Based on result of this study, this is important for nurses to take more intensive education about controlling cimorbidities, fluid intake and motivation to exercise in daily life. The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of intradialysis exercise using barbells and Range of Motion (ROM) on the adequacy of hemodialysis in patients with chronic kidney disease in the hemodialysis room of RSIJ Sukapura in 2018. The design of this study uses a design with non-probability pre and post test two groups without control design . The result of the difference in the effectiveness of the adequacy values between the two intervention groups after the intervention was given was the barbell intervention obtained 1,33 with a standard deviation of 0.485, an error standard of 0.114. Whereas in the ROM intervention group 1.67 the standard deviation was 0.485, the standard error was 0.114 and the p-value was 0.047 (> 0.05). Conclusion, there was no significant difference in the value of hemodialysis adequacy between the barbellROM intervention groups after the intervention.   Keywords: Hemodialysis Adequacy, Barbell, Exercise Effectiveness, Intradialysis, Range Of Motion (ROM)

The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of autogenic relaxation and music therapy to the level of pain in HD patients when insertion of vascular access. This study used Quasy experiment study with Post Control Only Control Group Design, which was conducted on 99 HD patients with total sampling. The results, using  independent t test analysis, showed that there were similar pain levels in each group. There was no difference in the effectiveness of pain levels between HD patients who were given autogenic relaxation with HD patients who were given music therapy when access insertion (p value = 0.896, alpha = 0.05). The average level of pain in the music therapy group is (5.00), autogenic relaxation with an average level of pain (5.27) and the average level of pain in the group combined between autogenic relaxation and music therapy namely (5.06) . Music therapy has a low level of pain compared to autogenic relaxation because during music therapy does not require a large mental effort for the patient to remain in focus.
