Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Masyarakat melalui Optimalisasi Potensi Sumber Daya Alam di Desa Gunungsari Kabupaten Serang

The potential of abundant natural resources in Gunungsari Village, Serang Regency, is still unable to improve the economic standard of life of the community, this is due to the lack of community skills and the lack of public knowledge in optimizing the potential of these natural resources into economic added value. This method of community economic empowerment through optimization of natural resource potential in Gunungsari Village, Serang Regency uses an environmental communication strategy which includes 1) Material Stage; 2) Energy Phase; 3) Information Stage, and 4) Evaluation Stage. The results of community service concluded that community economic empowerment through optimizing the potential of natural resources received a positive response and enthusiasm from the community, with the success rate of training program indicators being on an interval scale with an average value of 70% or a fairly good category. Thus it can be concluded that encouraging the skills training of the Gunungsari Village community in utilizing the natural resource potential of the papaya fruit is very important to improve the welfare of rural communities.

Inovasi Pengolahan Limbah Cair Batik dengan IPAL Ekonomis di Desa Maos Kidul Cilacap

Wastewater resulted from the batik dying process is known for its environmentally hazardous substances including hazardous natural and synthetic organic matter, suspended particles, and hazardous metal. But in the micro and medium scale batik textile business, wastewater treatment is mostly not carried because it does not give benefit for the owner. Economical wastewater treatment constructions can be an alternative for the business owner for their free operational cost. Batik wastewater treatment ought to be carried out to meet government standards but most importantly to decrease hazardous pollutant’s concentrations so it does not harm the environment. This society service project aims to provide alternatively economical wastewater treatment for batik business owners by applying simples and cheapest yet effective treatment methods to reduce pollutant concentrations in wastewater. Methods applied in this project including sedimentation, filtration, and landfill-bioremediation. The laboratorium analysis result shows that sedimentation and filtration are significantly reduced total suspended solid particles in wastewater from 2450 to 100 mg/L in line with wastewater decoloring from dark blue to clear yellow.

Sosialisasi Aplikasi Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Multimedia

The socialization of multimedia-based interactive learning applications is a community service for STMIK Bina Adinata lecturers at Inpres Elementary School Number 207 Linrungloe which aims to increase knowledge and understanding of educators, especially classroom teachers about multimedia-based learning applications. This activity is in the form of counseling about an interactive multimedia-based learning application using a computer. The method used in this service is socialization and training, starting with an explanation of the material about applications, interactive learning, and multimedia, after which an introduction to the use of applications to educators and finally explaining the use of applications to students. The results of this socialization increase the understanding and ability of educators in the application of multimedia-based learning and increase the learning interest of SDI 207 Linrungloe students in the learning process in the classroom using multimedia-based learning applications.

The purpose of implementing Career Guidance in Schools is so that students can: (increase their knowledge of themselves (self-concept); increase their knowledge of the world of work; develop their attitudes and values in dealing with job choices in preparation for entering them; improve thinking skills so that they can make decisions. about positions that suit him and are available in the world of work, and master basic skills that are important in work, especially the ability to communicate, cooperate and take initiative. This service activity is carried out for 1 day using several methods, including lectures and questions and answers. This community service activity is to provide communication skills to participants as a provision for preparation for graduation so that participants develop their attitudes and values in facing employment choices or the choice of continuing to a higher level of education. The impact of this service activity provides participants with knowledge and skills about communication skills and career guidance so that participants are better prepared to choose work or continue to a higher level after graduating from school.

Every educational institution, both state and private, has the same main task and is important in carrying out lecture activities. These three main tasks are in the form of lecture or academic activities, research activities, and community service activities. These three main activities are commonly referred to as Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. To carry out these three activities or Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi, health and safety are needed at work. It is known today that all parts of the world have experienced the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease 2019 or Covid-19. This has a very direct impact on the process of implementing Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. To reduce the spread of the Covid virus outbreak, the actual action is needed that can prevent the transmission of the Covid virus outbreak. The government through the Ministry of Health issued 3M guidelines in preventing and reducing the spread of the Covid virus outbreak. 3M stands for wearing a mask, washing hands, and keeping your distance. However, 3M is not enough, there need to be other actions to prevent and reduce the spread of the Covid virus outbreak in safeguarding all the academics and students of the Cilacap State Polytechnic. One of the other forms of efforts taken in handling the spread of the Covid outbreak in the Cilacap State Polytechnic environment is the manufacture of WHO standard disinfectants and the holding of regular disinfectant spraying.

Many users are from Indonesia. In its usage, English terms are mixed with Indonesian. The mixture of language is indicated to interfere the Indonesian language users. In order to preserve the purity of Indonesian language, equivalent words to those technology terms are given. Nevertheless, the equivalent has not been optimally applied. Hence, there is a need for conducting community service activities entitle Sosialisasi Istilah Bidang Teknologi dalam Bahasa Indonesia Baku dan Penerapannya di Ruang Publik. The participants are students of Universitas Amikom Purwokerto. The activities are aimed to give the participants knowledge and motivation to use Indonesian technology terms as produced with the reference of English technology terms. Furthermore, there is also introduction about Seranai Padanan Asing Indonesia, one of the features that can be found in the web of Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa, Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia. Students in higher education are regarded as a part of society that is expected to apply Indonesian equivalent terms of technology, at least in writing thesis or another formal academic text. They can utilize SPAI for finding the equivalent. This community service activity aims to provide graphic design training for teachers. Through graphic design training, it is hoped that it can provide many benefits to teachers to add skills and present innovative and attractive learning media. This community service activity begins with a survey to partner locations, planning activities, compiling training materials, then implementing training. This activity was held at SMP Negeri 3 Mendo Barat, Bangka. The time for this training is two days. The result of this community service activity was graphic design training for teachers which went well with the improvement of skills in the field of information technology.

Alternatif Model Partisipatif Didalam Pemberdayaan Konsumen Cerdas Di Desa Gondangrejo, Kecamatan Windusari, Kabupaten Magelang

Consumers' awareness in Indonesia in fighting for consumer rights is still relatively low, which can be seen from the Consumer Empowerment Index which is still lagging behind other European countries. Community service activities carried out in Gondangrejo Village, Windusari District, Magelang Regency are carried out by providing socialization and education about the importance of being a smart consumer who is aware of the rights and obligations of consumers. Rights and obligations are regulated in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. The method used in this activity is a Participatory Alternative Model which uses Environmental Scanning, through the author's method of building the ability to view programs on an ongoing basis through mapping of related stakeholders. The purpose of this service activity is the participation of the community as consumers so that consumers can fulfill their rights as consumers. On the other hand, the smart consumer group can increase the national consumer empowerment index.
