International Festivals are common in all countries. However countries hosting international festivals are unaware of the expectations and behavior of travellers related to their food choice behavior before their visit. A study was conducted with specific reference to Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF), Sarawak, Malaysia, to explore the food choice behavior of international travellers relating to neophobic behavior. The study followed interpretive research philosophy and exploratory study design with phenomenological interpretations, case studies and Delphi method. The research design integrated a longitudinal design during 2016 to 2017 period to develop a food choice consumer behavior model with triangulated tools and methods, identified causative factors related to consumer food choices. The study followed purposive sampling with a sample of 148travelers during the festival and data collection was done with the triangulated tools of indepth interviews, content analysis and observation following phenomenology method. The investigators came up with a thematic model in relation to food choice behavior of RWMF travelers, by extending theoretical and practical contributions.

Financial strength is a serious issue for the business firms. For measuring the financial strength of a business firm, there are lots of methods were available. But Altman’s Z-score model is one of the reliable and good methods. This model is predicting the possibilities of the bankruptcy of a business organization. The aim of the present study is analyzed the financial health of Auto Ancillary and Realty companies. For the purpose of this study, the required data collected from April 2014 to March 2018. From the study, it clearly understood that most of the sample companies are financially distressed. They better closed down their business. They are Exide industries and Amtek Auto‘s in Ancillary units and Brigade enterprises, Unitech, Prestige estate & Sunteck in Reality sector. And it also finds that Amara Raja Batteries, Omax Auto and PRICOL in Auto Ancillary units are financially healthy at present, but it will not improve their liquidity, asset productivity and solvency within 2 years it may go to bankruptcy. Phoenix Township performance sound in previous years and its performance comes down in succeeding 2 years. So it recommended to the management must take necessary steps for improving their efficiency. And also it recommends to the policymakers to make an optimum capital structure like Debt and Equity mix and proper dividend policy for maintaining sufficient earnings for future potential investment.

The quest for growth and changing demand of banking environment provides special importance towards Mergers and acquisitions in the banking world. Merger play significant role towards corporate restructuring. In recent times many company were using Merger &Acquisition as tool towards cost reduction and revenue generation. This paper is based on conceptual clarity on significance of M&A, value synergy and challenges faced by kotak Mahindra bank towards process of merger. It was observed that big companies like HDFC with Centurion bank of Punjab & ICICI Bank with Bank of Rajasthan are entering into the process of merger for capturing the value of synergy in long term. Merger and acquisition becomes the major financial instrument used towards correction of financial image of corporate entity. One of the main objectives of Merger &Acquisition in banking industry is to reap the advantages of economies of scales. The process of acquisition of ING Vysya bank was started by kotak Mahindra bank on November 2014. For analyzing qualitative content of this topic we have used Case study approach, this case study reveal the strategic motives of kotak Mahindra bank.

There were high rate of failure in mergers and acquisitions all over the world. Even after due diligence conducted by own qualified staffs and by expert consulting firm, the calculation may go wrong. Many researchers observed behavioural biasness during the decision making process of the deal as one of the causes of such failure. Here, the paper makes an attempt to identify human biasness in relation to decisions regarding mergers with the help of analysing two cases in Indian context. The said mergers could not succeed apparently due to the underestimation of risk by the acquirer probably arising out of the overconfidence.

The main purpose of this study is to analyzing the financial performance and wealth maximization of acquiring companies and evaluates their financial and operating performance pre and post period of the merger. To conduct a constant research and arrive at an actual conclusion, we focus our research to only Indian Pharmaceutical companies. The idea of this article is to explore various views of Merger and Acquisitions related to the Indian Pharmaceutical sector in particular. To explain the impact of M&A on the companies of Sun Pharmaceuticals and Ranbaxy Laboratories Torrent Pharma and Elder Pharma has been taken into account as a case study of my study. With the help of profitability and solvency ratios like ROTA, ROCE, Net Profit Margin, and Debt- Equity Ratio, ROE, Gross Profit Margin It focus the financial condition of the concern during the pre and post merger period .This study also evaluates the independent Paired t-test by the help of SPSS for testing the statistical reliability of the firms and this test is used both for the ratio analysis and to understand the impact of Merger and Acquisitions. All these results are mainly based on the data collected from the company’s financial statements.

The present study is related to find out the effective of various advertisements on customer buying behavior in Himachal Pradesh. For the evaluation and measurement of advertisement impact on customer buying behavior, the sample taken from the entire Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. The present study helps the strategy makers and marketers to identify the potential customers with help of effective advertisement in the market. Research Methodology - For this purpose a self structured questionnaire has been used to collect the data from 200 respondents from entire district Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. In the present study, chi square test has been used to measure the impact of advertisement on customer buying behavior with the help of SPSS version 16.0 (statistical package of social sciences software). Results - It is observed that advertisement have a significant impact and positive correlation with consumer buying behavior. In this study age and gender variables also found to be significant
