This study analyzes the needs of users' collections through the development of collections conducted by the Batusangkar IAIN library. This research is a case study conducted using the description method that illustrates the implementation and obstacles faced by the library, there is a collection development analysis activity according to user needs. the benchmarks in this research are study materials or strategies that will be applied for the future by improving the present situation. This study provides findings that activities and evaluations must be carried out on all planning processes with in-depth analysis of the needs of the visitors. This situation causes the librarians to be confused to develop a collection of books so that they cannot determine the type of collection that is needed by the user. More in-depth analysis activities by auditing information and interviews with users are needed for library development.

This study aims to determine the management of static archives in the South Sumatra Archives Service. The research method used is a qualitative approach using a survey design type to obtain  valid data by conducting observations and  interviews directly to the speakers and  the results using descriptive analysis. Management of static records carried out at the South Sumatra Archives Service covers the activities of collecting static records, acquisition of static records, archival search lists (DPA), management of static records, maintenance of static records, access or static archive retrieval systems and archival information systems. In the management of static records carried out at the South Sumatra Archives Service, it is quite good, but it is still constrained by human resources, funds and lack of awareness of agencies under the archives service that must submit static records that have a use and historical value so that this becomes one of the obstacles in managing records in the South Sumatra Regional Archives Service.

This study aims to determine the effect of library collections on student visits to the Faculty of Forestry Library of the University of Lancang Kuning. Type This research uses descriptive that is by collecting data obtained from respondents from the results of questionnaire answers and then the data tabulated. Sample determination was done by random sampling. While the data collection is done by survey method with questionnaire as collector of research data. The result of the research shows that the factors that influence the student visit to the library of Faculty of Forestry of the University of Lancang Kuning are Man Power (97.14%), Library Collection (92.86%), Building and Library Facility (91,43%).

Penelitian ini berjudul etika informasi dalam dokumen kerahasiaan rekod medis di Puskesmas Biak Muli Aceh Tenggara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana etika informasi rekam medis di dalam kerahasiaan dokumen rekod medis di Puskesmas Biak Muli Aceh Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif. Teknik langkah-langkah dalam pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, etika informasi yang diterapkan oleh petugas rekod medis di dalam dokumen pelaksana medis di Puskesmas Biak Muli Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara belum diterapkan dengan baik. Begitu juga dengan privasi pasien yang ada dokumen rekod medis belum dijaga kerahasiannya dengan baik oleh petugas rekod medis..

This research focuses on evaluating Senayan library management system (Slims) application software in the Lancang Kuning University environment using the ISO 9126.1 Usability approach. Research related to evaluation or application quality testing has been done a lot but for the evaluation of slims software in the Lancang Kuning University environment has never been done. In this research the method used is descriptive quantitative. With the method of collecting observation data, distributing questionnaires, and interviews. The sample in this study were 7 respondents from different libraries who used the slims application. Data analysis was performed using a Likert scale percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that based on the percentage of data using ISO 9126.1 usability on each attribute, namely Understandability with a percentage value of 116 predicate strongly agree, Learnability with a percentage value of 137 predicate agree, Opportunity with a value of 349 predicate strongly agree, Attactiveness with a value of 115 predicate strongly agree, and Usability Compliance with a rating of 115 is very much in agreement. From the results explained above, it can be concluded that Slims meet ISO 9126.1 usability standards.

Artikel ini mengeksplorasi pengembangan SDM pustakawan di perpustakan IAIN Kediri serta kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh perpustakaan dalam mengembangan SDM pustakawan. Metode penelitian dalam artikel adalah kualitatif, sedangkan sumber  datanya  adalah  data lapangan  yang  diperoleh  dari  pengamatan,  dokumentasi dan wawancara  dengan kepala  perpustakaan  dan  para  pustakawan  di  IAIN Kediri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan SDM pustakawan di IAIN Kediri bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kepustakawaan pada aspek manajemen, pengolahan dan pelayanan perpustakaan. Mulai tahun 2013-2019 terdapat 29 kegiatan pengembangan SDM, kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut bisa dikelompokkan menjadi:  kompetensi manajemen perpustakaan, kompetensi pengolahan bahan pustaka, kompetensi IT, Kompetensi penulisan karya ilmiah dan Daftar Usul Penetapan Angka Kredit (DUPAK) dan Literasi Informasi, dan terakhir kompetensi soft skills.  Kendala pengembangan SDM yaitu: kemapuan pustakawan dalam hal dasar-dasar kepustakawanan sangat beragam,  Pustakawan belum menguasai aplikasi dasar sistem informasi, Pustakawan tidak percaya diri sehingga minim tindak lanjut, minimnya anggaran pengembangan SDM, dan perpustakaan tidak otonom dalam merencanakan kegiatan pengembangan SDM. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan SDM, Pustakawan, Perpustakaan This article explores the development of librarians 'resources in the library of IAIN Kediri as well as the obstacles faced by the library in developing librarians' resources. The research methods in the articles are qualitative, while the source data is field data obtained from observations, documentation and interviews with librarians and librarians at IAIN Kediri. The results of this study indicate that the development of librarians' resources at IAIN Kediri aims to enhance the competency of librarians in the areas of library management, processing and service. From 2013-2019 there were 29 human resources development activities, which can be grouped into: library management competencies, library processing competencies, IT competencies, Scientific writing competencies and Credit List Assignment List (DUPAK) and Information Literacy, and finally soft skills competency. Human resource development constraints are: librarians' competence in terms of corporate fundamentals, Librarians have not mastered the basic application of information systems, Librarians are not confident enough to follow-up, minimal HR development budgets, and the library is not autonomous in planning human resources development activities. Keywords: development of librarians 'resources, librarian, library

Pendahuluan . Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan kekuatan yang terjadi dalam kepemimpinan di perpustakaan. Penelitian ini penting karena pembongkaran aturan untuk staf perpustakaan bukan hanya praktik disiplin, tetapi sebagai bentuk kekuatan yang tercermin oleh kepala perpustakaan.Metode Pengumpulan Data. Penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan Kepala Perpustakaan Sekolah Sukma Bangsa Lhoksumawe. Validitas data diuji menggunakan teknik triangulasi data.Analisis Data. Menganalisis menggunakan teori kekuatan disiplin Michel Foucault dengan melihat lima hal, yaitu: panopticsm, pemisahan tempat, dokumentasi, standardisasi penilaian dan penghargaan.Hasil dan Diskusi. Bentuk kekuasaan yang terjadi adalah pengawasan hierarki dan standardisasi penilaian yang dimanifestasikan dalam aturan verbal tentang waktu istirahat, papan tulis (program kerja), pemisahan jarak antara meja kerja, perbedaan bentuk tabel, kosongnya kinerja harian, standar kerja, verbal teguran dan pujian serta syukur.Kesimpulan. Tenaga berjalan secara produktif dan lancar sehingga staf tidak menyadarinya. Dalam studi ini, saya hanya menggambarkan bagaimana kekuatan direalisasikan dan didistribusikan oleh kepala perpustakaan melalui aturan. Penelitian ini membahas tentang komitmen pimpinan peguruan tinggi keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) dalam mendukung Gerakan Open Access Repository (OAR). Saat ini penerapan open access repository di PTKIN belum seluruhnya menunjukkan hasil yang menggembirakan, soalnya masih banyak institutional repository PTKIN yang belum menjalankan diseminasi hasil penelitian, karya ilmiah, skripsi, tesis, dan disertasi secara utuh (fulltext) karena berbagai alasan. Permasalahan ini menuntut komitmen Pimpinan PTKIN, karena jika infrastruktur (perpustakaan jaringan internet, instalasi aplikasi untuk mengunggah publikasi ilmiah) dan  sumber daya manusia (SDM) tenaga TI sudah siap maka tinggal menunggu realisasi komitmen pimpinan untuk mendukung gerakan open access repository tersebut. Prinsip dalam menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan adalah merupakan sebagian perintah agama sebagai sarana dakwah, sehingga komitmen pimpinan dalam memberikan dukungan terhadap gerakan OAR adalah merupakan bagian dari paradigma profetik.  Tujuan dari gerakan open access repository (OAR) ini bukan sekedar sebagai sarana untuk menyimpan file-file karya ilmiah akan tetapi bisa sebagai alat kontrol publikasi ilmiah berikutnya agar tidak ada repetisi, duplikasi dan plagiasi. Kemudian bisa juga sebagai sarana untuk mengatasi minimnya anggaran karena alasan tidak dana menerbitkan buku. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dari wawancara terstruktur, data lapangan dan dokumen terkait. Objek penelitian ini adalah surat keputusan rektor terkait dalam pengembangan institutional repository sebagai pejabat pengambil kebijakan yang akan memayungi implementasi OAR sebagai wujud komitmen pimpinan dalam paradigma profetik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan wacana terhadap solusi gerakan akses sama rata dalam mengatasi kesenjangan informasi di lingkungan PTKIN dalam rangka syiar Islam membangun peradaban Islam sesuai cita-cita Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.

Service is an important component in a library, good service will make the library can increase the level of user visits, so it is necessary to see the quality of services in the library, this is of course users who can provide an assessment of the quality in the library. Amikom Resource Center is one of the libraries that provide services to the academic community in the Amikom University in fulfilling information needs. Therefore, researchers are interested in evaluating the quality of services that exist in the Yogyakarta resource center amikom using the libqual method, in this study to see the quality of services available at Amikom Resorce Center. In this study the method used is descriptive quantitative, with data collection using questionnaires and observations, sampels in this study that amounted to 79 respondents. The results of this study, which is based on the calculation of service quality using the libqual method, found that the greatest AG gap is found in the Service of Affect dimension, which is 0.56 and the greatest SG gap is in the same dimension, Service of Affect with a value of 0.92. that the ability and attitude of librarians in serving is greater than the reality received so far, and the overall value of the dimensions of Adequacy Gap (AG) positively is 1.05, indicating that the services provided by Amikom Resousce Center have exceeded the minimum expectations of visitors. while for the total value of Superiority Gap (SG) is positive, which is 1.71, this indicates that the services provided have exceeded the ideal expectations of the users, so the users are "very satisfied" with the services they receive.
