This paper discusses about the issues of code switching in the classroom that is used by teachers and students. Code switching that was used by both teachers and students influenced the teaching learning process. The paper also talks about the function of using the code switching in the classroom, how necessary the code switching is and to find out the advantages and the weaknesses of the use of code switching.

Abstrak Pada tesis ini penulis meneliti  tentang budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT BPR Segara Anak Kencana Aikmel Lombok  NTB. Untuk menguji permasalahan tersebut, kuesioner disebarkan pada 84 karyawan PT BPR Segara Anak Kencana Aikmel Lombok NTB. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah menggunakan program komputer yaitu SPSS versi 20. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif rentang nilai dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT BPR Segara Anak Kencana Aikmel Lombok NTB, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT BPR  Segara Anak Kencana Aikmel Lombok NTB dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT BPR Segara Anak Kencana Aikmel Lombok NTBKata kunci:  Budaya Organisasi, Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Kepuasan Kerja, Kinerja.

The objective of this research is to investigate: (1) the different of students’ vocabulary mastery between those who were taught trough frintz’ brain and those who were taught through crossword puzzle, (2) the different of auditory and visual students’ vocabulary mastery, (3) the interaction between teaching methods and learning style with students vocabulary mastery, (4) which method is more effective to improve auditory students’ vocabulary mastery, and (5) which method is more effective to improve visual students’ vocabulary mastery.The research was conducted at SDN Kramatjati 27 Pagi which is located at Jl. Kerja Bakti No. 01 East Jakarta from March 2016 to June 2016. The writer took the third grade students as her research participant. There were two classes at that school. Therefore, the writer took two classes as her research with 30 students in the grade III A and 30 students in the grade IIIB. The method of the research was a quasi experiment. The data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA..Based on the results of the data analysis, there were five conclusions drawn: first, there is significant difference of students’ vocabulary mastery between those who were taught trough frinz’ brain and those who were taught trough crossword puzzle. It was supported by the p-value of methods is smaller than 0.05. Second, there is significant difference result between auditory and visual students’ on their vocabulary mastery. It was supported by p-value of learning style that is smaller than  0.05. Third, there is significant interaction between vocabulary methods and learning style on students’ vocabulary mastery. It is supported by the p-value of interaction which is smaller than 0.05. Fourth, frintz’ brain is better crossword puzzle for auditory students on their vocabulary mastery at the third grade students of Elementary School. It is supported by the mean of frintz’ brain in auditory 80.60 that is higher than the mean of crossword puzzle in auditory 75.53. Keywords: Vocabulary mastery, Frintz’brain, Crossword puzzle, Auditory and visual learning style.

Abstrak –this classroom research answers the two questions in the research problems. Firstly, Silent Way Method is so effective in improving student linguistic performance in Intensive English Course at Year 2 students in the Department of English Education Program at the Faculty of Teachers Training and Education as it explores students speaking skill to emerge and those who are shy feel confident to speak English even a bit. Secondly, it is so clear that Silent Way Method gives evidence to us that it can significantly improved student linguistic performance in Intensive English Course at Year 2 students in the Department of English Education Program at the Faculty of Teachers Training and Education by looking at the evidence as follows: 1)Teacher can provide oral fluency practice using presentation and group work model, 2) Teacher succeeds very well in achieving direct error correction  and the discourse is allowed to proceed with minimum  interruption, 3) In giving content  feedback, teacher suceeds to create an atmosphere which is conducive to learning and is likely to promote learner involvement, 4) By constantly checking  for  confirmation, it creates considerable evidence that teachers who constantly  seek clarification, check  for confirmation and who do not always accept the first contribution a student offers are more likely to maximize linguistic performace potential than those who do not constantly, 5) Teacher succeeds in engaging students and  in  promoting  longer verbal communication. His verbal behaviour allows students to play a full and active role in classroom, producing more  complete, more natural responses, 6) Teacher only intervenes when necessary, giving language support, correcting  errors or adding a personal comment, 7) As far as the learner contributions are concerned, it is evident from this extract that learners and teacher are actively engaged in constructing a piece of discourse which resembles a conversation. Silent Way Method indeed has a number of  positive  effects, from  an  excited, questioning approach to teaching to improved classroom interaction and involvement with the students. By controlled use of language and by matching pedagogic and linguistic goals, teacher facilitates and promotes reformulation and clarification, leading to greater involvement and precision of language on the part of the  learners.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this development research is expected to produce a product development package in the form of a learning model: 1). Learning device, 2). Assessment / evaluation guide to learning, 3). Guidelines for learning development, 4). Produce game- based learning models adopted from monopoly, 5). The development of the model is based on identifying the characteristics of students at the age that has reached the formal operational stage in terms of cognitive development, 6). The development of the model is based on the identification of learning objectives by considering the curriculum that has been implemented, namely the development of materials from the 2013 curriculum, 7). The learning model focuses on one material namely foreign eXIchange rates, and the same model cannot be applied to other subject matterAfter the product prototype was developed, the eXIpert validation test process, individual trials, small group tests and field tests were carried out. Based on the test results, the learning model is very valid, interesting, and effective can be applied in learning. This can be seen from the results of validation tests with the level of product feasibility of eXIperts content / material of 100%, validation of learning media eXIperts obtained an average score of 97.5%. Level of attractiveness of the product with an average percentage score of 89.76% entered the criteria very interesting. Effective products are used with an average percentage score of 79.66%.This product can also be used for a wider audience with adjustments, especially adjustments to the characteristics of students as users. Furthermore, the learning model that has been developed can be integrated with the use of information and communication technology.Keywords: Development, Learning Model, My Trip My Adventure

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana perbedaan kemampuan metakognitif yang diwujudkan dalam sikap awarenes, regulation dan evaluation yang dimiliki siswa dengan tingkat kemampuan yang berbeda dalam melakukan problem solving. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan karena penelitian ini dilakukan dalam setting yang alamiah, peneliti akan memperhatikan setiap sikap/aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam melakukan problem solving secara diskusi kelompok tanpa ada perlakuan ataupun bimbingan sebelumnya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 5 (lima) orang siswa kelas XI dengan tingkat kemampuan berbeda dan dikumpulkan dalam satu kelompok. Pemilihan dilakukan dengan melihat hasil belajar dan keaktifan dalam pembelajaran dengan bantuan pantauan dari guru mata pelajaran matematika. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui 5 tahap: Observasi, Dokumentasi, Tes (Pemberian masalah sebagai bahan diskusi), Rekaman Video dan Interview. Tes yang diberikan diselesaikan secara kelompok sebanyak 5 butir dan direkam secara keseluruhan untuk selanjutnya ditindaklanjuti dengan melakukan interview guna memilah dan memilih aktivitas siswa yang menunjukkan kemampuan awareness untuk memecahkan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 270 transkrip interview yang ada , aspek awareness yang ditunjukkan oleh kelima siswa adalah sebanyak 35 transkrip (13%), regulation 116 transkrip (42.9%) dan evaluation (119 transkrip (44.1%), Dengan rincian masing-masing siswa S1 sebanyak 50 transkrip (18,5%), S2 sebanyak 72 transkrip (26.7%), S3 sebanyak 25 transkrip (9.3%), S4 sebanyak  60 transkrip (22.2%) dan S5 sebanyak 63 transkrip (23.3%) Dengan kata lain semakin tinggi tingkat kemampuan siswa, semakin tinggi pula kemampuan metacognitive awareness, regulation, evaluation yang ditunjukkan.Kata Kunci: Metacognitive Awareness, Regulation, Evaluation dan Problem Solving  AbstractThe purpose of this study is to look at and describe how different metacognitive abilities are manifested in attitudes awarenes, regulations and evaluations that students have with different levels of ability to do problem solving. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research. Qualitative approaches are used because this research is conducted in natural settings, researchers will pay attention to each attitude / activity carried out by students in performing problem solving in group discussions without any previous treatment or guidance. The subjects in this study were 5 (five) students of class XI with different levels of ability and collected in one group. The selection is done by looking at the learning outcomes and activeness in learning with the help of observations from mathematics teachers. The process of data collection is carried out through 5 stages: Observation, Documentation, Tests (Giving problems as discussion material), Video Recording and Interview. The given test is completed in groups of 5 items and recorded as a whole to then be followed up by conducting interviews to sort and select student activities that show awareness ability to solve problems. The results showed that out of 270 interview transcripts available, the aspect of awareness shown by the five students was 35 transcripts (13%), 116 transcript regulations (42.9%) and evaluations (119 transcripts (44.1%), with details of each student S1 as many as 50 transcripts (18.5%), S2 as many as 72 transcripts (26.7%), S3 as many as 25 transcripts (9.3%), S4 as many as 60 transcripts (22.2%) and S5 as many as 63 transcripts (23.3%). high level of student ability, the higher the metacognitive awareness, regulation, evaluation shown.Keywords: Metacognitive Awareness, Regulation, Evaluation dan Problem Solving

Abstrak – Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom actionresearch) bertujuan 1). Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses pada siswa kelas VIII MTs NW Pringgasela. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan pendekatan keterampilan proses dengan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada siswa kelas VIII MTs NW Pringgasela.            Penelitian ini dirancang khusus untuk diteliti dimana sebelum diadakan penelitian terlebih dahulu diadakan observasi lapangan untuk mengetahui keadaan serta kemungkinan-kemungkinan yang akan diamati. Kemudian dari observasi yang dilakukan dapat ditentukan bahwa akan diambil satu kelas sebagai sample penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, evaluasi dan refleksi. Untuk mengumpulkan data aktivitas belajar siswa dan guru digunakan lembar observasi, sedangkan data hasil belajar siswa diperoleh melalui tes.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan pada siklus I rata-rata ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 57,89% dengan rata-rata 60 dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan yaitu 88,89% dengan rata-rata 71,11. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 31,00%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan keterampilan proses telah terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada siswa kelas VIII MTs NW Pringgasela.Kata kunci:  Kemampuan membaca pemahaman, pendekatan keterampilan proses

The objective of this study is to present the use of  code switching as expressions of politeness in Javanese language. This article is concern on the domain of family, in the terms of discourse analysis. This article present how the youth generation can not acquire the formal styles of Javanese (basa), therefore they tend to do code-switching from formal styles of Javanese (basa) to the use of informal styles of Javanese (ngoko) or to our national language, Indonesian. It provides definitions of politeness by theorists and presents some of the problems related to the concepts of politeness and speech styles in code-switching In Javanese families specifically for the youth generation. Furthermore, it looks into the differences usage of speech styles for both the parents as the elders and children as the youngers in the families. There are some factors of youth Javanese to switch their code. The factors are the participants, the topic, the setting and the function. One important key is every language always has stable characteristics, but it could be dynamic especially when the language (Javanese) exists side by side with another language (Indonesian). Technically, in the communication, the modification of language usage such as code switching that made by the speaker will be occur and unavoidable.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas sistem informasi pengadaan barang dan jasa pada PT Telkomsel Branch Mataram. Metode yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif analitis. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ada dua yakni; (1) sebanyak 45 orang karyawan tetap pengguna system informasi (2) Struktur Organisasi, SOP, BAK, FPB, BAST, Invoice. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara; SOP Flowchart dan e-procurement. Teknik evaluasi data (system Informasi) yang digunakan adalah: (1) Mengidentifikasi tujuan sistem informasi tersebut; (2) Memilih ukuran yang digunakan; (3) Mengidentifikasikan sumber-sumber data; (4) Menentukan nilai ex ante sebagai ukuran; (5) Menentukan nilai ex post sebagai ukuran; (6) Mengidentifikasi dampak system. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) sistem pengadaan yang berjalan sudah menggunakan sistem e-procurement dan telah sesuai dengan SOP. Dari perbandingan tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa pada PT.Telkomsel Branch Mataram menggunakan metode sistem tender. Hal ini juga dibuktikan dengan adanya dokumentasi dari data BAK, FPB, BAST serta invoice yang menunjukan bahwa perusahaan ini menggunakan vendor dalam proses pengadaan barang dan jasa. Dari uraian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-procurement yang ada pada PT. Telkomsel Branch Mataram telah berjalan dengan efektif. Hasil penelitian  ke (2) Dampak penggunaan sistem yang berjalan memberikan kemampuan melacak seberapa besar penyerapan budget yang telah dilakukan Branch Mataram, apakah telah sesuai target budget yang di anggarkan atau belum mencapai target.

Peraturan untuk menyalakan lampu utama sepeda motor di siang hari ditetapkan untuk menjaga keselamatan para pengguna jalan raya. Sebenarnya aturan menyalakan lampu di siang hari atau light on ini sudah dikenalkan lebih dari satu tahun, untuk menyalakan lampu pada siang hari, namun hingga saat ini tingkat kesadaran masyarakat terhadap program light on atau menyalakan lampu pada siang hari yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi angka kecelakaan lalu lintas, sepertinya masih lemah. Hal tersebut terlihat di beberapa titik ruas jalan serta perempatan lalu lintas di daerah Selong Kabupaten Lombok Timur, banyak pengendara yang belum mematuhi kewajiban menyalakan lampu pada siang hari. Berdasarkan uraian dalam latar belakang di atas maka penyusun merumuskan permasalahan sebagai berikut :1.Bagaimana pengaturan Undang – Undang No. 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan dalam menyalakan lampu di siang hari?2.Bagaimanakah efektifitas penerapan light on di Selong Kabupaten Lombok Timur ?.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum empiris. metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah : Pendekatan perundang - undangan, Pendekatan Konseptual, Pendekatan sosiologis. Undang–Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu lintas dan Angkutan Jalan 1. Terdiri dari  22 BAB dan 326 Pasal.Baru dijabarkan dengan 4 Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) dari yang seharusnya 25 PP antara lain:1) PP Nomor 32 Tahun 2011, tentang Manajemen dan Rekayasa, Analisis Dampak  serta Manajemen Kebutuhan lalu lintas.2) PP Nomor 37 Tahun 2011, tentang Forum Lalu Lintas dan Angutan Jalan.3) PP Nomor 80 Tahun 2012, tentang Tata Cara Pemeriksaan Kendaraan Bermotor di Jalan.4) PP Nomor 55. Tahun 2012, tentang Kendaraan.  Kepolisian Resort Lombok Timur khususnya Satuan Lalu Lintas  telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk memperkenalkan Undang-Undang Lalu Lintas Nomor 22 tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan  khususnya dalam penerapan light on. Kesimpulan, Dasar hukum light on atau DRL (Daytime Running Lights) adalah Pasal 107 dan sanksinya pada Pasal 293  Undang-undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 Tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, yang disahkan pada tanggal 22 juni 2009. Undang-undang ini tidak berjalan semestinya di Selong Kabupaten Lombok Timur, karena penerapan sanksi yang seharusnya tercantum pada Pasal 293 Undang-undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 belum diberlakukan secara merata dan efektif, Untuk penerapan Light on di Selong Kabupaten Lombok Timur SATLANTAS Polres Lombok Timur telah melakukan berbagai macam cara untuk mensosialisasikan Undang-undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 Tentang Lalu lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, khususnya dalam mensosialisasikan light on. Namun sampai saat ini respon masyarakat sangat kurang terhadap program POLRI. Oleh karena itu, sampai saat ini program light on masih berupa himbauan dan belum ada sanksi tegas terhadap pengendara yang belum melaksanakannya. Belum ada kesadaran dari masyarakat untuk mematuhi program light on ini.Kata Kunci: efektifitas, lalu lintas, angkutan jalan
