The artisan is a representative of Mexican culture, his techniques for making handicrafts passed down from generation to generation and their craftsmanship tells the story of his past. Over the years, they have become a vulnerable group, since their only livelihood is the creation of handicrafts, in many cases devalued. This project is focused on a specific artisan community that is concentrated in the Indigenous Craft Development Center (in its Spanish acronym, CEDAI) located in the city of Querétaro, Mexico whose intervention is pertinent since, despite being a fixed point of sale, the influx of this space is low, indicative of reduced sales. The objective of this work is the design of a parklet outside of the CEDAI making use of social methodologies to provoke a greater influx of people. Constructivism and phenomenology being the pillars of the project, and the Design thinking as the development guide which suggests the steps to carry out the product design. This work is an example of how the use of social methodologies in conjunction with design methodologies are the guide for the construction of urban elements that are sustainable.

The main theme of this article focuses on the study of the abandonment of neighborhoods or colonies that make up large cities in terms of the urban conditions that exist between its streets and avenues. In this case we refer to the América Norte neighborhood located in the east of the city belonging to the state of Puebla, Mexico. There are currently no adequate spaces for efficient pedestrian mobility, especially for the most vulnerable sectors such as the elderly, a sector that is the focus of this research. Therefore, the main objective is focused on carrying out a community management process that aims to offer strategies and actions to improve mobility conditions and pedestrian accessibility through citizen participation, all this with the collaboration of the board of directors, street representatives and institutions of the corresponding municipal government. The methodology used is developed from the complex systems from the action-research, in order to analyze and understand the problems from the social and urban environment that allows to broaden the perspective of the needs that reflects the social reality that exists in the neighborhood.

A systematization of a workshop course that took place in 2018 in the ejido of Nuevo Ideal, Durango, with the aim of agreeing actions to start a management plan, is presented. The workshop derived from work done to provide producers with tools and techniques that are useful for livestock exploitation, in addition to raising awareness of the need for actions for the protection and conservation of the natural resources offered to them by summer pasture ecosystems. The workshop was designed with five themes: Our Ejido, Livestock Management Plan, Grazing System, Infrastructure and Agreements. It is important to note that the agreement between PRONATURA northwest and the ejido for the implementation of a program that will help in the grazing system was the product of the workshop. Judaism is not a uniform religion. In it, different groups are differentiated, among which stand out, for their fundamentalism, the orthodox and the ultra-orthodox. The first ones strictly comply with religious precepts, although they coexist with "gentiles" and even lay people, adapting to certain "modern" social behavior. On the contrary, the second ones, called haredi jews or "God-fearing", follow extreme judaism in their interpretation and practice. These groups are today affected by heterodox and secular overmodern influences to such an extent that in the jewish media there is already talk of the emergence of a "new orthodoxy".

In this article, we analyze a general context of the science and technology budget in Mexico and the description of this innovative model which has several challenges and opportunities for the development of the country. In the last decades, Mexican United States (Mexico) had been increased the expenditure in science and technology, however since 2016 due to several factors, this expenditure was modified, and the trend changed. One of the goals of the last administration was to begin the operation of new colaborative reforcement in Research Centers system and beginning of a new model denominates Research Consortiums of Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT, for its acronym in Spanish), however, in recent years there have been changes and rearrangements of this system in order to adjust and reorient actions. Furthermore, It is also important to highlight that the current publication of the regulations of the National System of Researchers include incentives to take into account activities in favor of universal access to knowledge and the strengthening of scientific vocations.

Achieving decent work for all is essential for promoting sustainable and inclusive growth and development. However, in the world prevails a marked lack of decent work, higher unemployment, and persistent inequalities; and this panorama has been exacerbated by the global effects of the pandemic caused by COVID – 19. The gap from decent work is especially pronounced in the informal economy, which affects roughly 61% of the global employed population; moreover, it implies large social and economic costs, affecting income, occupational health and safety, productivity, and welfare. In this context, our goal is to develop a suitable theoretical framework to explore the causes of informal employment, based on the wage posting approach pioneered by Burdett and Mortensen (1998). Our note adds to this line of research by considering other general characteristic of the formal sector as a cause of informality, such as the rigid contracts regarding wages and working time. This hypothesis seems pertinent given that informality affects high-skilled workers too.

The objective of this research is to measure the effects of intellectual capital (human, organizational and technological) on financial performance. The data belong to the economic censuses of the years 2009 and 2014 in the field of tourism, with information on hotel activities in the 32 states of the Mexican Republic. The least squares methodology was applied with adjusted panel-type errors, analyzing the human, organizational and technological influence on financial performance. The results suggest that in the first place there is the technological dimension, as it is significant in its two indicators in relation to financial performance. Second, there is the human, with two of two significant indicators. Finally, the organizational one, with one of three significant indicators in relation to the dependent variable. According to the hypotheses, technological capitals and the human capital establish a significant and positive effect with financial performance. However, intellectual capital, jointly, does strengthen finances. This work contributes, with empirical evidence, to establishing links between the different types of intangibles and financial performance, as well as helping to understand the drivers of financial performance and therefore a sustainable competitive advantage.
