This study aims to examine the differences in corporate financial performance before and after secondary offerings. The financial performance is proxied by WCR, DER, Solvency, ROA, ROE, Asset Turnover (ATO) and Growth ratio which representing the value of liquidity, financing, activity, performance and growth of the firm. The study involved 67 samples of the companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange conducting secondary offerings during 2008-2013 period and selected through purposive random sampling method and using Financial Statement data from 2005-2016 period. Hypothesis test is performed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference in the ratio of Solvency, ROA and ROE between before and after secondary offerings, but there are significant differences in the ratio of WCR, DER, Asset Turnover and Growth. WCR ratio after secondary offerings increased, while DER ratio after secondary offerings decreased, the condition of both ratios showed better performance. While the indication of poor performance seen in decreasing asset turnover ratio and growth ratio.Keywords : agency theory, financial performance, secondary offerings

The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence of the effects of the Loan to Value (LTV) policy on the financial performance of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample selection uses a purposive sampling method of 42 property and real estate companies that meet the criteria. The research period is divided into 2 namely before the Loan to Value policy (2013-2014) and after the Loan to Value policy (2016-2017) with the Paired Sample t Test analysis technique. The test results show if the current ratio, Return on Asset, Return on Equity and Debt to Asset have significant differences between before and after the LTV policy is applied. While the fast ratio, cash ratio, net profit margin and Debt to Equity did not show a significant difference. This study aims to examine the differences infinancial performance and abnormal returns in the period before and after the announcement of the merger of the companies listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2004-2013. In this study the measurement of financial performance using four financial ratios which are the current ratio (CR), the net profit margin (NPM), return on equity(ROE) and price earnings ratio (PER), while the abnormal return is measured using the market return and the actual return. This study used purposive sampling in the sampling study. Company samples tested here are 8 companies from various different types of industries. Hypothesis testing is performed using paired sample t test with a confidence level of 5%. The test results of financial performance in the proxy with the current ratio (CR), the net profit margin (NPM), return on equity (ROE) and price earnings ratio (PER) its how sthe difference before and after the announcement of the merger on the companies listed on the Stock Exchange period 2004-2013.

This study attempts to examine empirical evidence of the firms’ financial performances conducting acquisition at the Indonesian Stock Exchange. A sample of 22 firms undertaking acquisition during 2007-20010 is examined. The t-test for mean difference is employed to examine the performance for the period prior to and after the acquisition. The results show that the firms’ liquidity ratio is not significantly different for the periods before and after acquisition. Total debt to total assets ratio and total debt to equity ratio are significantly different. In particular, the average of these two ratios is higher in the period after the acquisition. This study also documents that the firm activity ratio, measured as total assets turnover, is indifferent between the periods. In addition, the firms’ return on investment and return on equity is lowering after acquisition and the difference is significant. <p><em>This study was aimed analyzing the monetary crisis on financial performance </em><em>and corporation value effect.This study found that the monetary crisis affect </em><em>on financial performance and corporation value. The study on 50 </em><em>manufacturing companies consist of 25 companies variety business and </em><em>industry and pharmacist notes at Jakarta Stock Exchange from 1992 to 2002 </em><em>revealed that the monetary crisis cause decrease in financial performance and </em><em>corporate value. Based on before and after mean financial and Tobin 's Q ratio, </em><em>it found that the monetary crisis cause decrease in financial performance </em><em>especially in 1998 and corporation value from 1998 to 2002. This study also </em><em>found that based on each sector, the monetary crisis affect all financial ratio at </em><em>sector one, especially in 1998 and 2000 and the monetary crisis just affect debt to equity ratio from to 2002 at sector two. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused many hotels, restaurants and tourism activities to be temporarily closed. It has an impact on the financial performance towards the companies engaged in this sub-sector. The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of Covid 19 towards the financial performance of companies engaged in the sub-sector of hotel, restaurant and tourism. Financial performance is measured using several ratios, namely liquidity ratios, solvability ratios, profitability ratios and market ratio. The ype of research is descriptive quantitave. The population in this study is 35 all companies in the sub-sector of hotel, restaurant and tourism listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2020 period. Samples are collected from 30 companies using purposive sampling method. Hypothesis testing is conducted using the Paired Sample t-Test. The empirical results show that, in the liquidity ratio, and market ratio there is no significant difference between the periods of before and after the first recorded Covid-19 case in Indonesia. Meanwhile, in the solvability ratio and profitability ratio, there are significant differences between the two periods.

<p class="Imar-Abstract">Covid-19 struck the Indonesian banking industry in particular ASEAN, through the weaker economic growth, which resulted in a slowdown in credit growth and eventually reduce profitability. This study aimed to analyze the financial performance of banks before and after the occurrence of a covid-19 pandemic and formulate alternative strategies to improve the financial performance of Indonesian banks. The study sample consisted of four banks with saturated sampling method (census) are owned banks (State Bank) listed on the Stock Exchange Indonesia. The data in this research is secondary data obtained from the bank's annual report period 2019 until the second quarter of 2020 which is accessed via the IDX website. Performance is measured using the six financial ratios namely ROA, BOPO, NPL, NIM, CAR and LDR with different test analysis method (Paired T-Test). The study found that in the form of financial ratios ROA, BOPO, CAR and LDR pre and post Covid-19 pandemics have significantly different values, while the NPL and NIM did not differ significantly.</p>

Convergenceof IFRS into local accounting standards became a necessity for each country. This is due to the rapid developmental technology and globalization are demanding international accounting standards, with the aim of producing financial information with good quality and generally accepted. The application of IFRS as reporting standards is believed to improve the quality of reports keua-ngan company basis in the measurement of financial performance.The research objective was to determine the difference in financial performance as measured by the ratio of profitability, liquidity, solvency, and activities before and after the implementation of IFRS on the Company's GAAP ConvergencePharmaceuticals Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2007-2014.The results showed that tdak there are significant differences related to the financial performance as measured by the ratio of profitability, liquidity, solvency, as well as the ratio of activity before and after the implementation of IFRS on the Company's GAAP ConvergencePharmaceuticals Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2007-2014.

Managers seek to find the most desirable strategy to reach goals of their companies. One of the strategies which assist external growth of companies is merger and acquisition strategy. The goal of this research was to study the effect of acquisition on the intellectual capital and financial performance of (acquired) target companies. The statistical population included the companies admitted in Tehran Stock Exchange between 2004 and 2010, from among which the sample was selected. According to the accounting basis, the research data were calculated for two periods of before and after acquisition and the research hypotheses were tested using the paired samples T test. Test results of the target companies were compared with those of similar non-acquired companies as the control group. The research results indicated significant effect of acquisition on operating cash flow and return on assets and equity of the target companies. Moreover, it was found that intellectual capital increased after acquisition; however, there was no significant relationship with acquisition.

The purpose of this research is to know the condition of financial performance of consumer goods industry companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange based on profitability ratios (NPM, ROA, ROE) and market ratio (EPS, BV) before and after acquisition and to know comparison of financial performance consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) based on profitability ratios (NPM, ROA, ROE) and market (EPS, BV) before and after the acquisition The results of this study indicate: (1) Based on the financial performance of consumer goods industry companies listed under Indonesian securities using NPM variables, ROA and ROE both before and after the acquisition can be concluded there is no significant difference. (2) By using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test method on financial performance of consumer goods industry companies listed in Indonesian stock securities either from observation period comparing between 3 years before with 1 year to 3 years after acquisition, showed no significant difference between before and after acquisitions with a significance level greater than 0.05.
