Introduction: Many students experience anxiety, especially when going to face an exam. The results of interviews with 10 beginning students at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan obtained data that 3 people experienced severe anxiety, 5 people experienced moderate anxiety and 2 people experienced mild anxiety just before the test. They experience sleep disturbances and lack of rest, decreased appetite, fast heart beat, frequent urination, decreased concentration of learning, and feel anxious to remember the exam is getting closer. Method: This type of research is pre-experimental with one-group pre-post test design research. The study was conducted at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan in March-April 2018. The total sample of 15 people with a sampling technique was purposive sampling by selecting samples based on criteria set by researchers. The study was conducted using an anxiety level questionnaire instrument and standard operating procedures for color therapy. The data obtained were analyzed using the Wilcoxon sign rank test, at a 95% confidence level.Result: Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that there is an effect of green color therapy on changes in the level of student anxiety in facing exams. Discussion: The green color causes an increase in serotonin levels which has an important role to control sleep-wake, eating behavior, controlling sensory transmission, mood, and a number of behaviors. Providing green color therapy will stimulate the release of serotonin, so that increased levels of serotonin can improve one's mood so that it can create a sense of happiness and reduce anxiety. Someone who is given green color therapy can help individuals to be able to control themselves and focus attention so that the individual can take the right response when in a tense situation. In this study, after being given the intervention of green color therapy respondents who have severe to moderate anxiety levels. While those who have moderate anxiety become mild anxiety. green color therapy can affect changes in student anxiety levels.

Introduction:  Anxiety has a significant impact on undergraduate learning and attrition rates.  Learning pharmacology is a potentially significant area of anxiety among healthcare students, particularly paramedic students, but there is a lack of education literature addressing the way these students learn this material. This study aimed to determine the level of anxiety experienced by 2nd year paramedic students in relation to applied pharmacology concepts. Methods:  Using a cross-sectional survey, students were asked regarding their perceived levels of anxiety related to applied pharmacology concepts. Students ranked areas of anxiety from highest to lowest and were able to respond with short answers to questions regarding what was easy or hard to learn about pharmacology and their beliefs regarding how the teaching of pharmacology could be improved. Results:  A 140 students completed the two-part survey. Dosages (69%) and mechanism of action (70%) were ranked by students to be topics that generated the most anxiety.  Additionally, dose calculations, rote learning and the number of medications were shown to be other areas of higher anxiety. Students reported feeling less anxious about concepts such as indication or contraindications. Conclusion:  Specific areas of applied pharmacology such as mechanism, dosages and memorisation produced feelings of anxiety in paramedic students. It is accepted that anxiety can interfere with both the acquisition and consolidation phases of learning in addition to disrupting the recall of learned information. Therefore, the results of this study indicate that strategies to reduce the stress levels of paramedic students could improve outcomes in pharmacology subjects.

BACKGROUND Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) have difficulties with sensory processing that result in anxiety in certain situations. Aim of this study is to determine the efficacy of visual supports in reduction of anxiety levels and tolerance of transitions or switch over in children with ASD. STUDY DESIGN Randomized controlled trial METHODS With a sample size of 57, comparison was made between two groups i.e.; the experimental and the control group to see the efficacy of the visual inputs in reducing anxiety in children with ASD of age bracket 8-12 years old. Experimental group was given visual aids with occupational therapy sessions, while control group was only given conventional Occupational Therapy sessions. Pre and post analysis of visual perceptual ages and the anxiety levels of children were compared by anxiety scale for children-spectrum disorder and motor-free visual perception test. RESULT Significant increase in the visual perceptual ages with reduction in anxiety level was observed in experimental; no significant difference was found in control group. CONCLUSION Reduction in the anxiety levels was achieved after 4 weeks of intervention with improvement in the visual perceptual ages in the experimental group.

We experimentally investigated the effect of authorized crib cards on undergraduates' multiple-choice exam performance for lower order and higher order questions and on anxiety levels in an upper division child and adolescent development course. Students ( N = 54) in 2 sections could use crib cards during 2 of the 4 exams. Despite student expectations that crib cards would greatly improve performance and reduce anxiety, their use did not improve performance for either the higher order or lower order exam questions, nor did they reduce student anxiety. The failure of authorized crib cards to improve exam performance even for factual material suggests that instructors ought to weigh seriously the decision to allow such cards on exams.

Currently, all sectors in the education sector are experiencing a period of adaptation in the implementation of the teaching and learning process. The teaching and learning process carried out online has several impacts, one of which is the anxiety experienced by students. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of anxiety of students during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in senior high school students. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. Data analysis was performed using analysis from various scientific articles. The results showed that the level of student anxiety during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was different. This is due to the factors behind it, such as students' understanding of the material provided by the teacher, availability of internet network use, adequate facilities and infrastructure for taking part in online learning and the time for completing assignments which according to some students tends to be short.

DECREASING ANSIETAS LEVELS OF STUDENTS IN PREPARING THE SKRIPSI THROUGH ANSIETAS GENERALIS THERAPY ABSTRACTWhen students make thesis, they get several problems which cause anxiety. The anxiety that not handled soon will become emotional mental problem. The way to overcome anxiety is anxiety generalist therapy. The purpose of this study was determine the affect of anxiety generalist therapy with the student anxiety levels during making thesis. The design of this study used quasi experiment one group design pretest-posttest. The sample were 68 students who divided into 2 groups, first group is the students who hadn’t proposal examination and the second group is the students who had proposal examination. The result of Mann Whitney statistic test showed p value of both group is 0,000 (p<0,05) with heavy anxiety decreasing in the group which had not proposal examination (61,7%) and the group which had proposal examination the moderate anxiety is decreased (17,6%). The result of this study showed there are affect of anxiety generalist therapy to the student anxiety levels who makes thesis in the group student who hadn’t proposal examination and already proposal examination. anxiety generalist therapy can applied as independent on the students who anxiety when makes thesis and it’s used nurses to help anxiety of patient.
