Over the years, concept maps have been used by several researchers to construct online learning systems. This is due to their flexibility in organizing knowledge. However, for effective use of concept maps in education, detection, and removal of cycles within them is necessary. Cycles in a concept map may result in ambiguity and confusion as one concept can lead back to itself. This study first gives brief details about concept maps and their applications in the field of education. A popular algorithm of graph theory depth-first search is then used for detection of cycles. If any cycles are found, they are removed from the graph in an iterative fashion until there are no more cycles in the graph. A Java program was written to simulate the proposed algorithm and found to yield desired results on sample graphs. Finally, the future uses of concept maps have been discussed.

The training is part of the community service activities of the lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This Workshop is to educate and train teachers or prospective teachers to make teaching materials that are certainly interesting for students. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, where everyone is encouraged to work or distance learning, all teachers must also teach students remotely. In addition, this training is also to prepare teachers to continue to adapt to the times because it is possible that learning and teaching activities will be carried out online and offline in the future.

Like other lessons, mathematics has learning objectives in affective domain besides in cognitive and psychomotor domain. Formally, this can be seen in the formulation of the objectives of mathematics learning, as stated in the curriculum. The success of learning in cognitive and psychomotor is strongly influenced by students' affective condition. Students who have a good interest in learning and a positive attitude towards mathematics will be happy to learn math, so optimal learning outcomes can be achieved. Students of Tarbiya Faculty as prospective teachers should have good affective in order not to complicate students in the future. This article describe about students’ affective in mathematics. According to the data, it can be concluded that students’ affective is good. This condition must be nurtured and enhanced.

This research aims to discover the opinions of students who will become teachers in the future concerning the expectations and concerns about themselves in the context of the possible selves theory (PST). Qualitative phenomenological research design has been used in this study. The study group consists of 449 students. In the research, the criterion sampling method, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods, has been used. Descriptive analysis has been used in the analysis of data. The findings revealed that the concerns and expectations of the prospective teachers were mostly in the area of pedagogical formation and general culture. It is determined that the most frequent expectation and concern of prospective teachers is to be competent in the profession and losing belief in the profession.

Global competence refers to individual’s attitudes towards other cultures, basic knowledge level about the world, the competence to survive in a cultural-crossing environment and the role of citizens of the world. It has been increasingly significant nowadays, especially for children representing the future. Therefore, the global thinking patterns of perspective teachers who will teach future children should be valued. However, the current situation of normal undergraduates’ global competence is worrying. Hence, the global competence of prospective teachers should be enhanced without hesitation. Several ways have been put forward while some disadvantages still exist.

During the past decade, major changes have occurred in mathematics in the elementary school, both in content and approach. Indeed, “modern mathematics” has become a household term epitomizing the radical changes in today's curriculum which separate the younger generation from their parents. Parents complain they can no longer understand, much less help their children with mathematics. Innovations in experimental programs, technical advancements, and new insights into human learning promise even greater changes in the future.

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of the formation of the values-based attitude of modern students to the future profession. Pedagogical ethics is the theoretical, methodological, and moral basis for the creation of prospective teachers’ humanistic values, which are considered “eternal” guidelines in vocational Periódico Tchê Química. The urgency of the problem is justified by the modern requirements for professional education, which is aimed to improve a person’s individual qualities to form his innovative thinking and moral self-awareness. The purpose of the study was to consider the practicability of including the discipline "Pedagogical Ethics" in the curriculum of the training program "Pedagogical Education" as one of the essential components that create a moral basis for mastering the system of humanistic professional values and entering the professional community. The features of the development of the humanistic orientation of students' personality and the structure of their value sphere are described and the connections between various types of values, general orientation, creative component and self-esteem are revealed. The methods of humanization of the formation of young students’ personalities are proposed in the framework of the modern education system and social realities. The diagnostic results of advanced students presented in the paper make it possible to put forward a number of innovative tasks of vocational training and education at the university. In particular, the formation of professional competencies among students is associated with the need to master traditional humanistic values, which often do not coincide with the modern personal characteristics of future teachers. The development of values, the knowledge of the world and the formation of one’s image based on the culture of the society are becoming essential components of modern education and professional self-education.

Pre-school books are one of the indispensable materials of education life, even though technology has been developed, preschool books are still among the fundamental building blocks of education and it can be said that it will continue in the future. Preschool teachers' evaluation of 4-6 year old preschool books for Visual Design principles was aimed by pre-school teacher candidates. In the study, "Graphic / Visual Design Principles Scale for Textbooks" Alpan (2004), which is a visual design scale, was used. The scoring of the scale was calculated as 2 points for the "Yes" option, 1 point for the "Partial" option and 0 points for the "No" option. The data obtained as a result of the research were evaluated by scoring between 1-10. According to the results obtained from the results of the evaluation of the prospective teachers, it has been concluded that the books have different averages according to the scale dimensions, but are quite suitable in terms of general lines.

The teacher’s shape destiny of students and that of the future citizens who eventually shape the destiny of the country. Good teachers can be produced only when we have an effective teacher education program. Teacher education refers to the policies and procedures designed to equip prospective teachers with the knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and skills they require to perform their tasks effectively in the classroom, school, and wider community. The MHRD, Government of India, has brought out four years of integrated B.Ed. Program throughout the country in 2019. It is necessary to know the attitude of PUC students who are future teachers as their attitude can play a significant role in the character building and development of students in the future to whom they are going to teach and in the successful implementation of four years B.Ed. Programme. Theinvestigator could not find any study about the attitude of PUC students towards four years of integrated B.Ed. Programme. Hence the present study is an attempt in this direction to investigate the attitude of PUC students towards four years integrated B.Ed. Programme and teaching profession. The survey method was used for the present study. For the present study, the researcher had constructed the five-point attitude scale to measure the attitude of PUC students towards four years of integrated B.Ed. Programme. The PUC students in Bangalore north comprised the population for the present study. Purposive sampling technique was employed to select the sample of ninety-six PUC students covering Arts and Science streamlines from four collages in Bangalorenorth. The data were statistically analyzed and interpreted.
