BACKGROUND Evaluating Health Information System (HIS) quality is strategically advantageous for improving patient care quality. Nevertheless, there is little research evidence identifying and describing what standards, processes, and tools are used to evaluate HIS quality. OBJECTIVE This study aims to illustrate, detail, and discuss the current scenario regarding the standards, norms, processes, and tools used to evaluate HIS quality. METHODS We conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) using review guidelines focused on software and systems. We examined seven electronic databases (Scopus, ACM, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, IEEE Xplorer, the Web of Science and PubMed) to search and select primary studies. Three researchers and three collaborators participated in the review and quality assessment process of the studies. RESULTS We identified 17 primary studies that have been published in journals and conferences. We found that most of the primary studies address quality evaluation from a management perspective. Second, there is little explicit and pragmatic evidence on the processes and tools that allow evaluation of HIS quality. CONCLUSIONS To promote quality evaluation of HISs, it is necessary to define mechanisms and methods that operationalize the standards and norms of HISs. Additionally, it is necessary to create metrics that measure the quality of the most critical components and processes of HISs. CLINICALTRIAL Does not apply to our study

This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) on the initial training of science teachers in Africa based on selected research articles, in the period 2000–2020, that emphasize the importance of surveying knowledge that goes beyond those that historically have a longer path in the building of scientific knowledge, such as that of European or North American countries. The analysis included a total of 31 articles from the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases. The findings indicate a lack of knowledge, or at least visibility, considering the initial training of African teachers, particularly in developing countries. South Africa leads the number of publications. Within the five African countries implied in the SLR the following outputs were identified: (i) a division between teacher education research that is ‘place-based’ and one that uses (only) ‘universal theories’ (such as Vygotsky and Bandura); (ii) a tension between the application of student-centered learning and teaching models and more traditional classroom practices. Finally, the majority of articles highlight the importance of investing in further research around teacher education. Based on these outputs the importance of international cooperation in teacher education research articulating theory and practice to ensure a global and local perspective towards sustainable development is reinforced.

Software project development is very crucial, and measuring the exact cost and effort of development is becoming tedious and challenging. Organizations are trying to wind up their project of software development within the agreed budget and schedule successfully. Traditional practices are inadequate to achieve the current needs of the software industry. Underestimation and overestimation of software development effort lead to financial implications in the form of resources, cost of staffing, and budget of developing the software project. Soft computing (SC) approaches and tools deliver an addition of techniques for anticipating resistance to the deception, defect, incomplete truth for traceability and ambiguity, low arrangement cost, and strength. A large amount of SC approaches is prevailing in the literature to accomplish way-out to difficulties precisely, practically, and speedily. The approaches of SC can give better prediction, high performance, and dynamic behavior. SC deals with computational intelligence which integrates the concept of agent paradigm and SC. The proposed study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) of the approaches, tools, and techniques of SC used in the literature. The study presented a comprehensive review by searching the defined keywords in the popular libraries, filtered the paper, and obtained most relevant papers. After the selection of the papers, the quality assessment process of the included papers has been done in order to determine the relevancy of the papers. The study will help researchers in the area of research to devise novel ideas and solutions to overcome the existing issue on the basis of this study as evidence of the literature.

Talking about architecture culture means talking about buildings and architecture. Architecture is a field of research that is always related to space and form. One of the exciting research topics on architecture is research on Malay architecture. Preserving Malay architecture is an important thing that must be done physically and meaningfully, positively impacting the community's development. The rapid development of information technology (IT) should be part of conservation efforts. IT supports various activities that significantly help conservation efforts. The role of IT in architecture is a significant research opportunity because of still little research on this topic. Thus, we conduct a study and analysis using a systematic literature review methodology to review IT-Architecture research, especially Malay architecture. The systematic literature review methodology consists of six stages, namely: (1) research question definition; (2) literature searching by keywords on literature sources; (3) literature assessment; (4) literature quality measurement; (5) data extraction and synthesis; and (6) research recommendation and suggestion. After going through the quality assessment process, only 37 papers were obtained that were relevant to the topic of IT-Architecture. The most discussed research themes in this literature review search were: (1) building information modeling (BIM) and augmented reality (AR) / virtual reality (VR); (2) BIM and geographic information system (GIS); and (3) BIM application and technology. However, based on literature searches, IT, and Malay architecture are still insufficient. Therefore, the topic of IT and Malay architecture still needs to be studied further in the future.

Despite the negative role of IT in digital addiction development, IT may have a positive role in dealing with digital addiction. The present study undertakes a systematic literature review to explore the state of play and the trend regarding the use of IT in digital addiction research. Using predefined keywords, the Scopus database was searched for relevant literature published from 2017 to 2020. The initial search found 1655 papers. Six stages of study selection were completed using a set of inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study selection and quality assessment process were applied, then 15 papers were selected for further review. The results show that addiction detection using IT is the most researched topic in digital addiction research. The most commonly used IT in the selected studies are AI methods and biosignal recording systems. Various approaches in detection, prevention, and intervention are suggested in the selected studies. The advantages and limitations of each approach are discussed. Based on these results, some future research directions are suggested.

The European Union (EU) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) have stated that education is central to economic and social policy development. Entrepreneurial competence has been topical since 2006, when the European Commission identified a “sense of initiative and entrepreneurship” as one of the eight competencies necessary for all members of a knowledge-based society, however there is still no consensus on what the distinctive elements of entrepreneurship as a competency are. Latvian educational reforms involve changes in the teacher education system in order to have highly qualified, competent, and excellence-oriented teachers who are able to respond quickly to the demands of the labour market and adapt to technological developments. The school reforms also necessitate teachers to create a study process where students develop entrepreneurial competence, which is a new and still vague concept. The aim of the research is to conceptualize pedagogical entrepreneurship through a systematic literature review of the term ‘pedagogical entrepreneurship’ and its components – entrepreneurial skills and teachers’ entrepreneurial behaviour (the methodological approach to teaching, which characterizes entrepreneurial behaviour in the context of education). The present research analyzes 35 publications available on Web of Science, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and ResearchGate that were published in English from 2011 to 2021. The result of the systematic literature review is the compilation of literature for the terms ‘pedagogical entrepreneurship’, ‘entrepreneurial skills’, and ‘teachers’ entrepreneurial behaviour’ (‘teacherpreneurs’), as well as summarized explanations of each term. The results can be used for further research on pedagogical entrepreneurship and its components. Comprehension of the value of pedagogical entrepreneurship in the context of education will create fertile soil for the effective integration and elaboration of entrepreneurial skills for teacher education students as well as already practising teachers that will support them to implement a competency-based curriculum and be competitive in the changing labour market.
