The research results on the autodyne signal formation in microwave oscillators, which are exposed under the impact of the proper reflected emission and, at the same time, of the external frequency-locked signal are presented. The basic relations are obtained for signal analysis under the condition of the quasistatic target movements. The theoretical research results are confirmed by experimental data obtained on the example of an oscillator made on the basis of the 8mm-range Gunn diode.

The results of research into the dynamic characteristics of microwave oscillators under the influence of both their own reflected radiation and external synchronising effect are presented. The basic relations for the analysis of signals during fast movement of the target are obtained, when the signal period is comparable to the autodyne response time constants. The results of numerical modelling of the characteristics are confirmed by the experimental data obtained on the example of an oscillator based on the Gunn diode of the 8-mm range.

The article presents the research results of paraffin emulsion properties. The emulsions were developed for use in food packaging. The issue of modelling the rheological properties of these emulsions was presented. In the scope of the article, the analysis of the results of the impact of the production method on the variability of the rheological characteristics of emulsion is presented. In the research results, it has been shown that the use of the twofold homogenization process significantly improves the important properties due to the planned application of applying emulsion on packing paper. Modelling of this type of emulsion was carried out to describe the curves of their flow. In the modelling process, commonly used rheological equations were selected and adjusted to the results of emulsion properties tests. The following models were analysed: Bingham, Casson, and Herschel-Bulkley. The models parameters were established based the experimental data, and then the parameters of different models, for each emulsion, were compared. As a result of the rheological properties tests, it was shown that of the emulsions produced are the yielding and viscous fluids that are diluted by shear and can be described with a high accuracy by the Herschel-Bulkley model.

The development of technology, information technology and various means of communication have a significant impact on public relations activity; especially in government institutions. Many government institutions have invested these means in their management system, in order to facilitate the goals of the institution, and ultimately the interaction between the internal and external public. In this theoretical research, I tried to explain the impact of the new media on public relations in the public administration, based on the views of specialists. The aim of the research is to know the use of the new media of public relations and how in the system of public administration, as well as, Explaining the role it plays in public relations activities of government institutions. Add to this, analyzing the way of how new media and public relations participate in the birth of e-government. In the results, it is clear that the new media has facilitated public relations between the public and other institutions, as it strengthened relations between them

The article aims to investigate the impact of the reflective writing paper on non- English major learners’ learning autonomy in a Vietnamese context. The data was collected by means of questionnaire, competence tests and interviews. The participants did two reflective writing papers as an intervention during the research. The research results show the possibilities for teachers to modify their teaching methods through analysis of feedback from the subjects. The findings showed that most participants appreciated the role of the reflective writing paper and they were aware of the significance of learning autonomy in their study process. Drought stress is considered a severe threat to crop production. It adversely affects the morpho-physiological, biochemical and molecular functions of the plants, especially in short duration crops like mungbean. In the past few decades, significant progress has been made towards enhancing climate resilience in legumes through classical and next-generation breeding coupled with omics approaches. Various defence mechanisms have been reported as key players in crop adaptation to drought stress. Many researchers have identified potential donors, QTLs/genes and candidate genes associated to drought tolerance-related traits. However, cloning and exploitation of these loci/gene(s) in breeding programmes are still limited. To bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical breeding, we need to reveal the omics-assisted genetic variations associated with drought tolerance in mungbean to tackle this stress. Furthermore, the use of wild relatives in breeding programmes for drought tolerance is also limited and needs to be focused. Even after six years of decoding the whole genome sequence of mungbean, the genome-wide characterization and expression of various gene families and transcriptional factors are still lacking. Due to the complex nature of drought tolerance, it also requires integrating high throughput multi-omics approaches to increase breeding efficiency and genomic selection for rapid genetic gains to develop drought-tolerant mungbean cultivars. This review highlights the impact of drought stress on mungbean and mitigation strategies for breeding high-yielding drought-tolerant mungbean varieties through classical and modern omics technologies.

This article’s aim is to explain the impact of technology entrepreneurship phenomenon on waste management enterprise performance in the conditions of COVID-19 pandemic. The concept of technology entrepreneurship according to the configuration approach and the category of high-performance organization are the theoretical bases of empirical investigation. For the implementation of empirical research, Fuzzy set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (FsQCA) was adopted. The research sample included a group of producers of Refused Derived Fuel (RDF) as a central part of the waste to energy industry located in Poland. The research results showed that the waste to energy sector is highly immune to pandemic threats. While during COVID-19, the basic economic parameters (i.e., sales, profitability and employment) of the entire industry in Poland clearly decreased, the same parameters in the case of the waste to energy industry remained at the same level. The research results allow the formulation of two high-performance models of technology entrepreneurship in the waste to energy industry under COVID-19 conditions. The first model is based on traditional technologies and hierarchical organizational structures, and the second is using innovative technologies and flexible structures. Both technology entrepreneurship models are determined by their emergence as complementary to implementation strategies and the opportunity-oriented allocation of resources within business model portfolios.

The present paper deals with the interactions of 22 Ne and 28 Si nuclei at (4.1–4.5)A GeV /c with emulsion. Some characteristics of the compound multiplicity nc given by the sum of the number of shower particles ns and grey particles ng have been investigated. The present experimental data are compared with the corresponding ones calculated according to modified cascade evaporation model (MCEM). The results reveal that the compound multiplicity distributions for these two reactions are consistent with the corresponding ones of MCEM data. It can also be seen that the peak of these distributions shifts towards a higher value of nc with increasing projectile mass. It may further be seen that the compound multiplicity distributions becomes broader with increasing target size and its width increases with the size of the projectile nucleus. In addition, it has been found that the MCEM can describe the compound multiplicity characteristics of the different projectile, target and the correlation between different emitted particles. The values of average compound multiplicity increase with increasing mass of the projectile. Furthermore, it is observed that while the value of 〈nc〉 depends on the mass number of the projectile Ap and the target mass number At, the value of the ratio 〈nc〉/D(nc) seems to be independent of Ap and At. The impact parameter is found to affect the shape of the compound multiplicity distribution. Finally, the dependence of the average compound multiplicity on the numbers of grey and black particles, and the sum of them, is obvious. The values of the slope have been found to be independent of the projectile nucleus.

Abstract This paper presents research results of composite tubes filled with self-compacting concrete. The impact of the selected materials and geometric factors on resistance to the vertical shear was evaluated in this study. The resistance of the tested members was compared with recommendations given in Eurocode PN-EN 1994-1-1. From the results obtained in the tests it can be deduced that more parameters should be taken into consideration when determining resistance to the vertical shear in the interface between steel and concrete than PN-EN 1994- 1-1 recommends.

Developing effective black start plans is significant to the rapid restoration from the power system blackout. This paper makes theoretical research in some key concerns of self-excitation, over-voltage, the impact of starting loads on the voltage and frequency, and stability of the initial small system. The paper also presents countermeasures against these problems. This overview should be very useful to utility operators involved in the development of black start plans.
