The dynamics analysis of coal mining and mine workings in Russia and Kuzbass was made with an assessment of operational productivity and load on fully-mechanized long-walls (FMLW). The article presents statistical data on the average number of FMLW and average monthly productivity of a miner. Disadvantages in the cutters work of working bodies of shearers and tunnelling machines during the mining of seams with a solid rock inclusions were determined. The usage of a disk tool instead of a cutter of working bodies of mining machines at operation at the mining enterprises of Kuzbass was offered in the article. The article recommends to expand the area of application of the mechanical method of coal seams and rocks destruction with a breaking down point of uniaxial compression up to 100 MPa by using a biconic disk tool of working bodies of extracting machines. Shearers’ tractive characteristics during mining of coal seams with rock inclusions, allowing to determine the energy intensity of destruction process by a disk tool were obtained. The options of design implementation of unified attachment points of a disc tool of working bodies of mining machines are presented. It was established that the main advantages of a disk tool over the cutter are the implementation of reversible modes of operation of working bodies, hardening and reducing dust level in face space.

This article considers mining and geological conditions of the site “Blagodatny” of the mine named after A.D. Ruban located underneaththe old open pit coal mine and the hydraulic-mine dump. The potentially dangerous zones in the undermined rock mass have been identified based onthe conditions of formation of water inflow into mine workings. Safe depthof coal seams mining has been calculated depending on the type of water body – the hydraulic-mine dump.

Agriculture is the most important branch of the national economy, providing the population of our country with food and obtaining raw materials for a number of industries. The role of agriculture in the economy of Russia and its regions shows the structure and level of development of the state. It is impossible to get a good harvest without proper cultivation of the land. Cultivation of any crops begins with basic tillage, which is one of the most time-consuming operations. For this purpose, mounted and semi-mounted ploughshares are used. One of the effective ways to reduce the energy intensity of the main tillage process is chisel-shaped ploughshares with a protruding toe (chisel), which is located below the blade by 20 … 25 mm. Due to this, the sinking capacity of the hull and its resource are improved. To achieve this goal, such methods are used as the influx of metal in the field-cut zone, which increases its thickness, the surfacing of the nose part, which increases wear resistance and, accordingly, reduces wear of the sock in thickness, welding to the sock with a plate made of a more high-strength material [1].

The paper represents the results of monitoring and evaluation of the efficiency of hydroimpulsive disintegration of outburst-prone coal seams in the stopes of development mine workings using a system of sound detecting facilities. Methods of acoustic emission control have been considered as well as the monitoring tasks to evaluate rock mass conditions before the procedure and after it inclusive of the results of sound accompaniment of hydraulic disintegration of the coal seam. It has been determined that the higher concentration of stresses within the rock mass is, the more efficient action of high frequency self-oscillations of cavitation transmitter is on both the fissuring and changes in gas-dynamic state of the coal seam. It has been recommended to apply a mode of impulsive fluid pumping under the conditions where coal seam is in the stress-strain state.

An important task in the technological process of a mining enterprise is preparatory mine working performance, as effective operation of an entire mining complex depends on rate and quality of drilling. Therefore, the main factor affecting the performance of the process of underground mining is the correspondence of design and operating parameters of the working bodies of tunnelling machines to mining and geological conditions. The underground mining operations showed that rocks with a strength f ≤ 10 and high abrasiveness are to be destroyed with disc tools, providing higher strength, wear-resistant parameter and low dust formation in comparison with cutters. The usage of disk tools on the working bodies of tunnelling machines of selective action is a poorly studied task and requires special research of the questions of destruction, crushing and loading of rocks at reverse working modes. It has been established that researches aimed at design development of an attachment point of a disk tool for arrow-type working bodies of a tunnelling machines is an urgent scientific task. The original technical solutions for the design of the attachment points of disc and cutter tools are proposed to improve the processes of cutting of working bodies in the face massif, dust suppression, sealing and mounting-dismounting operations at the operation of shearers and tunnelling machines.

When developing coal and ore deposits by underground method, it is necessary to carry out a large volume of preparatory mine workings using drilling and blasting operations. Minerals are found in rocks under various conditions and their physical and mechanical properties change in a wide range. Under such conditions, it is necessary to use drilling machines this different to the principle of action and structural features. The article considers geometric parameters of roc cutters, peculiarities of drilling modes, affecting energy intensity and drilling productivity in rocks with different strength coefficient.

Abstract The development of agricultural technologies, the mechanization of the cultivation of ordinary crops for a long time has gone differently in different ways. The working bodies of agricultural machines process various materials, the number of which is increasing. In addition, the way the same material is processed often changes when trying to improve agricultural technologies. All this forces us to create new mechanisms of agriculture that were previously known. The use of replaceable gear bodies on flat cutting cultivators helps to reduce the energy intensity the process and improve the quality of non-falling soil. To protect against it, various agricultural techniques are recommended: plowing along the entire slope, deepening the arable layer, the formation of irregularities on the surface of arable land in the form of holes, intermittent furrows. The article describes the mechanized protection of the soil of the technological process and technical means for growing crops on erosive lands on the slope. Methodology for improving agricultural machinery for working on the slope of erosive dangerous lands. Ways to increase the stability of the movement of agricultural machines on slopes to improve the quality of technological operations are justified. The operating mode of the active disk needle is described.

The work presents a tillage machine with vibrational electronic elements mounted on the working bodies, which allow reciprocal oscillating movements of the chisel bit and duckfoot shovels. Theoretical studies of the dependence of traction resistance reduction of a tillage machine on the influence of oscillations of the working bodies on the soil and on the unit’s speed. The oscillating movements of the working bodies will improve the quality of the main processing of heavy soils in gardens, reduce the energy intensity of a given process and increase productivity by increasing the unit’s speed.

The goal of the research was to clarify the regularities of the dynamics of gas release from the surface of the outcrop of the developed coal seam. The main research methods were theoretical methods of mathematical physics and non-equilibrium thermodynamics. Gas-bearing coal seams are usually mined underground. When driving development workings, outcropping surfaces of gas-bearing coal seams appear and gases in the seams under excessive pressure are released into the atmosphere of the mine workings. Gas-bearing coal seams are usually mined underground. When driving preparatory workings, surfaces of outcropping of gas-bearing coal seams arise and gases that are in the seams under excessive pressure are released into the atmosphere of the mine workings. The most important gas-dynamic characteristic of this process is the rate of gas release, which represents the volume of gases released from a unit area of exposure of a coal seam per unit of time. A generalized law of resistance for gas filtration in a rock mass is recommended, and a fairly rigorous thermodynamic substantiation is given. It is shown that the densities of gas mass flows in accordance with the postulate of their linear relationship with the driving forces are determined by the Onsager relation. The results obtained and their discussion is presented. Mathematical models are proposed for engineering calculations of the dynamics of methane release from the outcropping surface of medium-thick coal seams. The error of the adopted approximations does not exceed 3%. The intensity of methane release is directly related to the planogram of work in the working face. Analysis of this dependence indicates that during the extraction cycle, methane release increases due to an increase in the area of the gas-release surface. The main conclusions are as follows: mathematical modeling of the processes of gas movement in a porous sorbing medium using approximate mathematical models representing linearized equations of mathematical physics; the regularities of the dynamics of the rate of gas release from the surface of the outcrop of a gas-bearing coal seam is the theoretical basis for the mathematical description of the process of gas release; the use of a linearized hyperbolic filtration equation most accurately describes the processes of methane release from the outcropping surface of mined coal seams.
