Abstract Nowadays, drone technology is not only be used in commercial businesses but can also be utilized in a teaching-learning process, including in Islamic boarding school. This article will be discussed the development, performance, feasibility, and effectiveness of drone technology to be utilized as a learning media at Pesantren Hidayatullah Yogyakarta that is one of Islamic boarding school. The developed drone was the multicopter with a multi-rotor type using four rotors. This study was conducted with the development research approach developed by Alessi and Trollip and the descriptive research approach. This drone was applied in teaching-learning process at Pesantren Hidayatullah Yogyakarta. Data were obtained through drone’s testing and observation, interviews, questionnaires for the drone’s affectivity in teaching-learning process. The results of this study can be known that the drone performance is categorized as “Very Good” in terms of functionality and usability aspects. The drone feasibility in the term of material quality and its usefulness is included in the “Very Feasible” category. The drone as learning media has had significantly impact when it’s applied in learning process in extracurricular activities.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the cooperative principle violation between the teacher and the students in grade eighth classroom teaching and learning process in SMP N 11 Pematangsiantar. The problem of this research was What cooperative principle are violated by the teacher and the students in grade eighth classroom teaching and learning process in SMP N 11 Pematangsiantar, To solve the problem, the researchers use some theories like: Grundy (2000), Yule (1996), Cruse (2000), Cook (1989), Cutting (2002), Moloeong (2007), Grice (1975). The research done in this study follows descriptive qualitative perspective. Source data in this study is the cooperative principle violation between the teacher and the students in grade eighth classroom teaching and learning process in SMP N 11 Pematangsiantar. Descriptive research describes what it is. It involves the descriptions, recording, analysis, and interpretation of conditions that exist. After analyzing the data, the researchers conclude that the maxim are flouted if the information is more informative than is required, ambiguous, uses symbolic, not absolutely true, lack of adequate evidence. The maxim can be flouted when the researcherss produce some utterances in the form. From the data can found the maxim, they are: maxim of Quality, maxim of Quantity, maxim of Relevant, maxim of Manner. The maxim flout when the conversation started until the end, so the maxim can used in the conversation and the conversation can analyze with the maxim.

Arabic writing is an important subject that must be studied by fifth grade students at Al-Manar boarding school. However, many students were bored and less motivated to participate in the teaching learning process of the lesson. The main cause of this problem is due to the use of traditional methods in teaching. Teachers do not use media when deliver the lesson, besides there is no particular handbook. Moreover, the lack of students’ motivation is another problem faced by the teacher in teaching learning process. Some students feel bored with traditional methods used, and even some of them do not understand the meaning of words because their shortcoming in memorization and Arabic grammar skill (qawā’id). Based on the this problem, this experimental research implements picture series to develop the students’ abilities and motivations in the learning process of composing lesson. The results of this study show that the use of picture series in teaching insyā’ has positive impact in developing competency and motivation of fifth grade students at Al-Manar boarding school. Mengarang merupakan materi pembelajaran yang penting dipelahari oleh siswa kelas lima di Pesantren Modern Al-Manar, dan proses belajar mengajar pada materi ini membosankan dan tidak termotivasi. Penyebab utama dalam masalah ini adalah guru menggunakan metode tradisional dalam mengajar, tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran bervariasi, dan tidak ada buku pegangan. Adapun masalah yang dihadapi guru adalah lemahnya minat murid dan perhatiannya dalam pembelajaran mengarang dalam bahasa Arab (insyā’), karena murid merasa bosan dengan metode tradisional yang digunakan guru saat mengajar. Sebagian siswa justru tidak memahami arti kata atau pola dasarnya. Hal ini disebabkan minimnya penguasaan kosa kata siswa dan lemahnya penguasaan ilmu tata bahasa (Qawā’id). Dalam penelitian berikut peneliti mengajar insyā’ dengan menggunakan gambar berseri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan gambar berseri efektif meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengarang bahasa Arab dan mempunyai pengaruh yang positif untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa kelas lima di Pesantren Modern Al-Manar.

This research examines the obediencepoliteness strategies in the teaching learning process.The study focuses on obediencepoliteness strategies in the teaching learning process of Arabic class at Islamic Boarding School in Al Munawaroh. This research is conducted by qualitative case approach. The data of this research is the speech acts of teacher. The data collected is taken from recording observation and interview and is analyzed by interactive model analysis.The findings consist of the obediencepoliteness strategies in the teaching learning process of Arabic class at Islamic Boarding School in Al Munawaroh with two strategies. A direct strategy is used to express functions of: commanding with fiil amar, advising with isim fiil amar "لابد"  dan "عليك", forbidding with لاالناهية+فعل مضارع. A indirect strategy is used to express functions of: commanding with declarative sentence, and forbidding with imperative sentence. With this study, it is expected that The foreign language teachers prefer to use direct strategies rather than indirectly to make meaningful learning.تناول هذا البحث موضوع الخضوع على مبدأ التأدب في استراتيجية التواصل لدى المعلمة أثناء تعليم اللغة العربية. ويستهدف هذا البحث الكشف عن استراتيجية التواصل لدى المعلمة الخضوع على مبدأ التأدب في معهد "المنورة. والمدخل في هذا البحث هو المدخل النوعي بدراسة الحالة المتعددة. والبيانات لهذا البحث هي الأفعال الكلامية لدى المعلمة. وجمعتها الباحثة من ملاحظة بالتوثيق والمقابلة. وحللتها بطريقة الطراز التفاعلي (Interactive Model). والنتائج لهذا البحث هي: 1)الخضوع على مبدأ التأدب في استراتيجية التواصل لدى المعلمة في التفاعل الصفي أثناء تعليم اللغة العربية هو استراتيجية مباشرة وغير مباشرة. واستخدام الاستراتيجية المباشرة بثلاث وظائف وهي: (أ) الأمر بصيغة فعل الأمر، (ب) النصيحة بصيغة اسم فعل الأمر "لابد" و "عليك"، (ج) النهي بصيغة لا الناهية+فعل مضارع؛ واستخدام استراتيجية غير مباشرة لها بوظيفتين (أ) الأمر بصيغة الخبر؛ (ب) النهي بصيغة فعل الأمر. ومن أهم توصيات الدراسة هي لابد للمعلم أن يستخدم استراتيجية مباشرة وغير مباشرة موافقة بسياق التعليمية. إن معلمي اللغة الأجنبية يفضلون أسلوب التوجيه المباشر من الأسلوب غير المباشر لجعل هذه العملية التعليمية التعليم ذي المعنى.

The result of research on DytectiveU application and its contribution to the reading-writing process in children with dyslexia is offered. An explanatory-descriptive research was developed, with the use of quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the reading-writing process mediated by technologies of the education. It was found that the DytectiveU application offers multiple actions to learn to read and write, during the learning of children with dyslexia. It concludes that the DytectiveU application reveals potentialities to develop the literacy process in children with dyslexia, as well as the reasons that lead to its use in the teaching-learning process of Basic Education.

<p class="Pendahuluan">One of the strategies in improving satifaction of clients is getting direct input from customers (which in this case, students of Management Departement, UBM) through questionnaires on the process of studying by e-learning. The type of this research is descriptive research which makes use of a descriptive survey. The results of this research show that the majority of customers are not satified on some aspects of studying by e-learning. The biggest gap there is in indicator 7, namely the lecturers are lazy in using e-learning for the teaching-learning process. By using Cartesius diagram, it is found that the indicators in quadrant A are 6,7 and 11, for quadrant B: 1, 4, 5, 9, 10 and 12, while for quadrant C: 2, 3, and 8. AbstractComputer literacy has become an interesting issue in the field of education as the integration of technology in education develops rapidly and continues to increase in the future. One aspect of computer literacy teacher’s and student’s perceptions and attitudes to use computers for classroom instruction. Unfortunately, this has been a challenge for incorporating technology during the teaching and learning process. The current study aims to analyze the implementation of the use of a mobile laptop in the class and unfold the student’s attitudes toward using laptops during their learning activities. This research was a survey study that includes interviews, observation and documentation as a data collection technique. The subject of the study is 312 students from seventh to ninth grade. Data analysis was done by the following steps: data collection, data reductions, data analysis, and conclusion making. The study finds that 1) course content and learning activities have been predetermined/ predesigned and stored in the laptops, 2) every student have access to the device with the help of group work. The study also reveals that the attitude of students toward the use of laptops in the classroom process is positive in the sense that they show satisfaction on the use of laptops. They also acknowledge the advantages of the computer for their learning and show high awareness of the importance of keeping the devices maintained and secured.AbstrakSalah satu bidang Tehnologi pembelajara adalah pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sebagai media pembelajaran. Hal tersebut selaras dengan perkembangan abad 4,0.  Kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan dan memanfaatkan computer (Komputer Literasi) menjadi isu yang menarik saat ini. Komputer literasi menjadi bagian dari teknologi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis implementasi penggunaan laptop Mobile dalam aktivitas belajar di kelas dan bagaimana respon siswa dalam penggunaan laptop Mobile di kelas.  Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan survey. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan VIII sejumlah 312 anak. Analisis penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data, mereduksi, menganalisis, dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi penggunaan laptop mobile dilakukan saat proses belajar mengajar dilakukan dengan cara 1) semua materi dimasukkan dalam laptop mobile, 2) semua siswa mendapatkan hak akses untuk menggunakannya, dan 3) aktivitas belajar sudah didesain dalam laptop mobile. Sedangkan respon siswa dalam menggunakan mobile laptop menunjukkan 1) tingkat kepuasaan dalam menggunakan laptop mobile, 2) tingkat kemanfaatan dalam menggunakan laptop mobile, dan 3) tingkat tanggungjawab dalam merawat laptop mobile pada angka rerata yang paling tinggi pada lilihan stuju dan sangat setuju. Kinesthetic learning styles is the acquisition of learning information by touching and moving. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning process of children with kinesthetic learning styles. This research approach uses descriptive research and qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of playing learning FEV children are very fond of learning through touch, the advantages possessed are being actively exploring the environment, having self-confidance, and obstacles experienced by the FEV unable to focus on learning goals because they are easily disturbed by sounds or objects in around.Gaya belajar kinestetik merupakan pemerolehan informasi belajar dengan proses menyentuh dan bergerak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui proses belajar anak dengan gaya belajar kinestetik. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian bersifat deskriptif dan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik bermain dan belajar anak FEV sangat menyukai belajar melalui sentuhan, kelebihan yang dimiliki adalah aktif bereksplorasi lingkungan, mempunyai rasa percaya diri dan hambatan yang dialami FEV tidak dapat fokus pada tujuan belajar karena mudah terganggu oleh suara-suara atau benda di sekitar.

The material of composing lesson (insyā’) was important for fifth grade students at Al-Manar boarding school to study. However, most students were bored and less motivated to participate in the class. The main cause of this problem is due to the traditional methods used by teachers. They did not use various medias in instructional process, besides there is no handbook. Moreover, the problem faced by the teacher in this teaching learning process was the students’ motivation. They feel bored with traditional methods used by teachers, and some students do not understand the meaning of words taught. It caused by their lackness in mastering vocabularies and Arabic grammar skills (qawā’id). Based on the problem above, this research implements picture series to develop students’ abilities in instructional process of composing lesson. The method used in this study was experimental study. The result of the study shows that the development of students’ abilities in Arabic composition by using picture series was very effective. It also has positive impact in encouraging them to enjoy the teaching and learning process. Keywords: Composition; Picture Series; Instructional Media

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the strategic role of hidden curriculum in the process of instilling the value of character education through the contribution of school, family and community. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive research approach. Data collection was carried out by making observations, in-depth interviews, documentation, and participation. The subjects of this study were board of dormitories and Ustadz or Ustadzah, student guardians, officials in the neighborhood of Al-Azhar Islamic boarding school and students. Data validity was checked by triangulating using different sources and methods. The results showed that; (1) The implementation of religious character education through the Hidden Curriculum in AlAzhar Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta is carried out through; (a) Halaqoh: namely activities in the form of independent tadarus, language activities, guidance, guidance and supervision. (b) Outside the teachings of Halaqoh, namely Infaq Friday, dhuha prayer, a culture of clean living, a culture of discipline and 5S culture (smile, greetings, greetings, courtesy, and politeness). (2) Implementing the program to optimize the role of the three education centers in fostering religious character through; (a) integrating the values of character education in boarding activities. (b) daily habituation. (3) The contribution of the three education centers in fostering religiosity through; (a) habitual formation method (habituation). (b) Training by applying examples. This article describes the result of community service in terms of finishing book (khatmil kitab) Abdul Wahab al-Sya'rani’s work, Washiyat al-Mustafa li al-Imam 'Ali Karrama Allah al-Wajhah, among students of the advanced level of Formal Islamic Education (Pendidikan Diniyah Formal Tingkat Ulya) in Nurul Qadim Islamic Boarding school in order to strenghten narrative of the deep understanding of religion (tafaqquh fi al-din). This program is begun from socialization of the scheduled activities to the students from class to class. It has been advanced for eight times of face-to-face teaching-learning process with using large-class-teaching (bandongan) and small-class-teaching (sorogan). Based on the community service-based program of khatmil kitab, students are able to get knowledge, to hope for blessing (tabarrukan), to worship in every  Friday, and to pragmatically fulfill the productive period with giving free snacks during that activity.
