Abstract This research reports the findings derived from the identification of the difficulties exhibited by a group of 76 students from different grades of basic secondary education in a private educational institution with an emphasis on science education. The students were given a questionnaire presenting five situations based on the Position-Time graph associated with uniform rectilinear motion of particles. The research approach is of a quantitative nature at a descriptive level with a field design, since it was the students who filled in the instrument. It is highlighted as a finding in the opinion of the students that the subject has been seen in class, but due to the teacher’s methodology it is not fully understood by them. The results show that the students have a long list of difficulties mainly due to the lack of articulation of mathematical concepts in physical contexts, a situation that prevents them from analyzing the proposed statements, reasoning about the approaches, and improving in the process of searching for alternative solutions with clear arguments.

ABSTRACTThis paper aims to discuss and describe a possible approach on the subject Linear Programming in High School. A constant question we hear from our students, especially in high school, is in relation to the applicability of the contents studied in mathematics. The study of contextualized problems involving linear equations and inequalities solved by certain methods, which are studied in linear programming, can help students understand the applicability of mathematics as well as the content and interrelationships among various mathematical concepts. Despite being heavily exploited a content in higher education, here's your chance during an initial study using only basic education concepts already studied in previous years.RESUMOO presente trabalho pretende discutir e descrever uma possível abordagem sobre o tema Programação Linear no Ensino Médio. Uma pergunta constante que ouvimos dos nossos alunos, principalmente no Ensino Médio, é em relação à aplicabilidade dos conteúdos estudados em Matemática. O estudo de problemas contextualizados envolvendo equações e inequações lineares resolvidos por determinados métodos, que são estudados em Programação Linear, pode contribuir para que os alunos percebam a aplicabilidade da Matemática bem como as interrelações entre vários conteúdos e conceitos matemáticos. Learning is more interesting and helps foster a sense of enthusiasm for learning is the role of multimedia. This study aims to design multimedia learning on the subject of Computer Networks and Data Communication for informatics education students. This type of research uses a development research approach, this research will only focus on stage I, namely designing multimedia learning. Designing multimedia learning in computer networking and data communications subject using Lectora Inspire Software. Furthermore, validation is carried out based on expert trials, on aspects of software engineering, aspects of application design, aspects of visual communication. The results of designing multimedia learning in the subject of Computer Networks and Data Communication for informatics education students are valid, feasible, easy to use, and very friendly. So that with this multimedia learning design greatly contributes to learning in informatics education.

The economic impact on students caused by COVID-19 seriously affected the economy of families, as well as the teaching-learning process. Unfortunately, educational institutions from preschool to higher education, which is the subject of our analysis, were forced to close their facilities. The objective of this research is to determine the economic impact generated in higher education students as a consequence of COVID-19. Supported by a case study and with the help of an electronic survey, we intend to identify elements that will help us to know the degree of economic impact on higher education students. In order to achieve the research objective, we will work under the model of a case study that will allow us to clearly and objectively identify those factors that had a significant impact on the economy of students at the higher education level. The type of research included in the study is conclusive - descriptive. The research approach is qualitative, since a survey is used to review the information under study.

Introduction: Biochemistry is the science that deals with the metabolic functions of living beings. In its concepts, it uses chemistry and biology to study the interactions of organisms with the environment. For basic education students is often complex the association of biochemistry with their daily lives, especially in elementary school where they have their first contact with science in school and the didactic book will serve as an important tool for research. Thus, this work aims to analyze qualitatively content related to biochemistry in science books of the final years of elementary school. Methods: We analyzed six science books used in elementary school, and the following criteria were examined: clarity and language presented on the inserted content; resolutions and images shown subtitles, and interdisciplinarity of matters. Results and discussion: The books of the sixth and fifth years were those who achieved the expected learning goals. The first of then made a very good presentation of the content and the images, addressing the subject in an interdisciplinary way. However, the second one is well below in the analyzed criteria, bringing the matter in a vague writing, and failing in associate the content with other assumptions themes. The images had a very low quality and their explanations were difficult to associate. Conclusion: We can say that the biochemistry content are complex, however its development from the beginning of primary education contributes to overcoming the complexity of their understanding. The analysis of the books brought a result that was expected. Only one book had significantly positive results in all analyzed characteristics, the other books had some very good aspects, but in several details, they were vague and poorly contextualized. Approaching the school sciences to the student every day we can demystify scientific knowledge and its production.

Resumo: O presente trabalho trata da temática educação e sexualidade na formação de professores de Ciências e Biologia e apresenta como foco as múltiplas identidades de gênero e sexuais. O trabalho teve como objetivo geral identificar a percepção dos formandos de um curso de Ciências Biológicas sobre seu preparo para lidar com as questões referentes às identidades de gênero e sexuais. Na pesquisa, utilizou-se da técnica de Grupos Focais para a coleta dos dados e a Análise Textual Discursiva como metodologia de análise. Verificamos que, embora estejam em um curso de formação de professores, há grande escassez de oportunidades para discutirem essa temática, tanto no curso quanto na universidade como um todo. Em consequência disso, os acadêmicos relatam não se sentirem preparados para abordar o assunto com seus futuros educandos, o que pode trazer prejuízos para a formação dos estudantes da educação básica, numa perspectiva emancipatória e de equidade.Palavras-chave: Formação de professores; Identidades de gênero; Identidades sexuais. Gender and sexual identities: analysis of the perceptions of graduates in biological sciences teaching courseAbstract: The study has the theme, of education and sexuality in the formation of Science and Biology teachers and focuses on multiple gender and sexual identities. The work had as general objective to identify the perception of the graduates of a Biological Sciences course about their preparation to deal with issues related to gender and sexual identities. In the research, it was used the technique of Focus Groups for data collection and Textual Discursive Analysis as an analysis methodology. We found that, although they are in a teacher formation course, there is a shortage of opportunities to discuss this topic, both in the course and at the university as a whole. As a result of this, academics report that they do not feel prepared to approach the subject with their future students, which can harm the education of basic education students, in an emancipatory and equity perspective.Keywords: Teacher education; Gender identities; Sexual identities.

Las relaciones intrafamiliares constituyen un aspecto fundamental en la vida formativa de todos los estudiantes, en tanto que son un apoyo vital para los procesos educativos de todo centro de estudio. En este trabajo investigativo se pretende revelar la problemática que afecta a las relaciones intrafamiliares de los estudiantes en torno a su proceso formativo. Tuvo como objetivo establecer una valoración de las relaciones intrafamiliares entre estudiantes del décimo año de la Unidad Educativa “Alicia Vélez Velásquez” de la Ciudad de Portoviejo y su incidencia en los comportamientos de estos. El proceso metodológico seguido para este trabajo consistió en indagaciones y diálogos con estudiantes de la institución educativa y profesores.  De este modo, se buscó detectar los principales factores relacionados en torno a las relaciones padres-hijos en el entorno educativo y familiar. Los resultados de esta primera fase investigativa permiten distinguir sensibles aspectos que precisan ser abordados de manera inmediata. Se muestra una problemática que gira en torno al fracaso y abandono escolar, el maltrato físico y verbal, la carencia afectiva y la baja autoestima. INTRAFAMILY RELATIONSHIPS IN BASIC EDUCATION STUDENTS OF ALICIA VÉLEZ VELÁSQUEZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ABSTRACT The intrafamiliar relations constitute a fundamental aspect in the formative life of all the students, as much as they are a vital support for the educational processes of every study center. This research study intends to reveal the problems that affect the intrafamiliar relationships of students around their educational process. The objective was to establish an assessment of intrafamiliar relations among students of the tenth year of Alicia Vélez Velásquez elementary school in Portoviejo and its impact on their behavior. The methodological process followed for this study consisted of inquiries and dialogues with the parents, students of the educational institution, also teachers and professors. On this way, we sought to detect the main factors related to parent-child relationships in the educational and family environment. The results of this first investigative stage allow distinguishing sensitive aspects that need to be addressed immediately. It shows a problem that revolves around failure and school dropout, physical and verbal abuse, emotional deprivation and low self-esteem. RESUMEN El presente estudio tiene por finalidad determinar el nivel de competencias digitales de los docentes de una Institución Educativa. Se presentan las teorías fundamentales de las competencias digitales; lo que permitió presentar una postura teórica del investigador frente a la variable y sus dimensiones. El tipo de investigación es básica, con un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo, el diseño es no experimental y de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 95 docentes; para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario. La validez del instrumento se realizó por medio del juicio de expertos, siendo considerado aplicable. Para la confiabilidad se utilizó el Alfa de Cronbach, cuyo resultado fue altamente confiable. Los resultados más importantes del estudio indican que el 71.5% de los profesores no han logrado un nivel alto de competencias digitales docentes, solo el 28,4% de los profesores tienen un nivel alto, asimismo, se visualiza resultados similares en las dimensiones de la variable.     ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the level of digital competences of the teachers of an Educational Institution. The fundamental theories of digital competences are presented; which allowed to present a theoretical position of the researcher in front of the variable and its dimensions. The type of research is basic, with a quantitative approach, descriptive level, the design is non-experimental and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 95 teachers; For data collection, the survey technique was used and the questionnaire was used as an instrument. The validity of the instrument was made through the judgment of experts, being considered applicable. Cronbach's Alpha was used for reliability, the result of which was highly reliable. The most important results of the study indicate that 71.5% of the teachers have not achieved a high level of teaching digital competences, only 28.4% of the teachers have a high level, and similar results are seen in the dimensions of the variable.

Resumo A qualidade da água é uma necessidade universal, que exige atenção por parte das autoridades sanitárias e consumidores em geral. Os problemas ambientais, especialmente os relacionados a este recurso, têm se acentuado, de acordo com o crescimento populacional. Deste modo, intervenções, sobretudo as destinadas a formar um pensamento crítico na população, se fazem necessárias, para se obter resultados significativos, entre elas a educação ambiental. A escola é o principal agente para esclarecer, produzir consciência e formar comportamento cidadão participativo nas questões ambientais. Para isso, é necessário medir o conhecimento prévio dos alunos a respeito do assunto. Então, esta pesquisa visou conhecer, por meio da aplicação de um questionário, a visão de discentes do 7º ano do Ensino Básico Fundamental de uma escola pública situada no município de Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, acerca de inúmeras situações relacionadas à qualidade de água, que dizem respeito à sociedade, à saúde e ao meio ambiente. Os resultados mostram que, apesar de não existir uma disciplina específica para a educação ambiental, os conhecimentos empíricos dos alunos sobre o tema são mais adequados que os conteúdos abordados dentro da disciplina Ciências, que necessitariam de outra abordagem, mais ativa e efetiva, pois o conhecimento formal nesta área se apresentou insuficiente. Abstract Water quality is a universal need, which requires attention from health authorities and consumers in general. Environmental problems, especially those related to this resource, have been accentuated, according to population growth. Thus, interventions, especially those aimed at forming critical thinking in the population, are necessary to obtain significant results, including environmental education. The school is the primary agent to clarify, raise awareness and form participatory citizen behavior on environmental issues. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the students' prior knowledge on the subject. Hence, this research aimed to know, through a questionnaire, the view of 7th grade students of a public basic education school located in the city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, about numerous situations related to water quality, which concern society, health, and the environment. The results show that, although there is no specific subject for environmental education, students' empirical knowledge on the topic is more appropriate than the content covered within the Science subject, which would need another, more active and effective approach, as the formal knowledge in this area proved to be insufficient. Por lo tanto, intervenciones, especialmente las destinadas a formar un pensamiento crítico en la población, son necesarias, para que se logren resultados significativos, entre ellas la educación ambiental. La escuela es el principal agente para aclarar, generar conciencia y formar comportamiento ciudadano participativo en las cuestiones ambientales. Para ello, es necesario medir los conocimientos previos de los estudiantes sobre el tema. Entonces, esta investigación tuvo como objetivo conocer, mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario, la opinión de los estudiantes del séptimo año de educación básica de una escuela pública ubicada en la ciudad de Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, sobre numerosas situaciones relacionadas con la calidad del agua, que afectan a la sociedad, a la salud y al medioambiente. Los resultados muestran que, aunque no exista una disciplina específica para la educación ambiental, el conocimiento empírico de los estudiantes sobre el tema es más adecuado que los contenidos cubiertos por la disciplina Ciencias, que necesitarían un enfoque más activo y efectivo, porque el conocimiento formal en esta área demostró ser insuficiente. The perception of a basic education of the importance of agroecological agricultural systems for human and environmental health is fundamental for changes in consumption habits, the conservation of local biodiversity and long-term social transformation. We analyzed, by utilizing a questionnaire consisting of open and closed questions, the perceptions about agroecological and conventional agricultural production systems in 360 final students of basic education residing in nine Functional Planning Regions of southern Brazil. We used classification categories for answers within thematic axes, expressed in percentages and analyzed by means of Chi-square and Kruskal-Wallis tests. In general, students recognize agroecological systems as healthier for their families and for soil and water conservation, largely because they do not use agrochemicals. However, they demonstrated difficulties when arguing their importance for the conservation of biodiversity, ecosystems and for ensuring the food security of populations. Television was the main source of information related to agroecology, mainly for students residing in rural areas, thus pointing out shortcomings in basic education regarding the approach of the theme in schools. Our results show the need to build a complex network of knowledge and discussions on agroecological agricultural systems in basic education, involving changes in student perceptions, behaviors and sustainable choices.
