Teacher Guidance and Counseling (BK) has a role in the implementation of home visits aimed to obtain and collect data. The reality is less BK teacher roles in the implementation of home visits, teachers held a BK less preparation in determining the timetable for implementation, BK teachers do home visits rarely communicate to students, with the teacher's role in the implementation of activities BK home visits has not done well. This research is a descriptive study, with a sample based on random cluster sampling, the number of teachers BK 20 people. The results: (1). BK teacher's role in communicating the plan home visits to related parties are on both criteria. (2). BK teacher's role in carrying out home visits on both criteria. BK teacher's role in carrying out home visits on both criteria. Based on the research findings, the role of teachers in the implementation of BK kunjuungan home located on both criteria. Parenting is a process in the family, the interaction of parents and children. The family is where a child is born, the first place a child gets an education, consisting of father, mother and child. The family also became the main central place of character education formation of children. Family education is the fundamental or foundation of subsequent children's education. In the society of the nobility and in general people Sasak known to have the motto of Lomboq Mirah Sasak Adi meaning Lomboq straight meaning. Mirah is a true gem, an elegant precious metal that is very expensive. Sasak comes from sa'sa 'sa'i, sopo, seke' which means one. Adi means something that is very high value. Therefore, the true (mule jati) "straight road" is a very noble path, a very high value, as the only path to be followed by the sasak. and the road is a straight path (siratulmustakim) commanded by Allah SWT contained in the Qur'an and Al Hadith. In the process of learning guidance and counseling teachers are teachers who are tasked to provide guidance to students who are problematic and who are not problematic if considered important by the teacher guidance and counseling, therefore the role of teachers guidance and counseling in the learning process is needed, because learners have problems are diverse

<p><em>This research is based on the  lack of students’ learning outcomes,  which is influenced by the academic stress. The purpose of the study is to describe the academic stress, students’ learning outcomes, and the identification of the relationship between academic stress with students’ learning outcomes. The study showed that the  students’ in general academic stress are in middle category, and generally students’ learning outcomes are in the sufficient category, there is a significant relationship between academic stress with student learning outcomes. The implications of the study are expected to provide counseling teacher guidance and counseling services that are preventive against academic stress and improve student learning outcomes.</em></p>

Abstract: This research is based on the problem of student learning methods that are still low. the problem of this research is how to overcome student learning difficulties. Formulated as follows: (1) What is the role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming student learning difficulties? (2) How is the teacher's guidance and counseling efforts in overcoming student learning difficulties? (3) What are the obstacles and results obtained by the guidance and counseling teacher in overcoming student learning difficulties?This study aims, (1.) to determine the role of teacher guidance in overcoming the difficulties of student trajectory. (2.) So that the teacher tries to guide students in overcoming learning difficulties. (3.) So that the teacher can overcome obstacles and get results in overcoming student learning difficulties. in the 2014-2015 school year. Informants in this study were principals, guidance and counseling teachers and students.The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative analysis is interpreted as a natural and naturalistic research method because the research was carried out in natural conditions and this research was carried out on natural objects. And processing the data used is interview.Based on the results of research conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan to overcome student learning difficulties, it can be concluded as follows: (1). Students are more motivated and directed at learning. After the guidance and counseling teacher made various efforts to overcome learning difficulties, the learning results were obtained that the role of guidance and counseling teachers greatly motivated students to be more active in learning. Through guidance and counseling, students become more enthusiastic in learning to succeed. (2). Students feel more attention through guidance and counseling by guidance and counseling teachers to students who experience problems with learning difficulties, so that students feel like they are getting attention from other students. And after they are guided by a guidance and counseling teacher, finally a determination arises to learn and improve their learning outcomes. (3). Value and achievement increase. Guidance made by the guiding teacher and counseling in overcoming student learning difficulties is quite effective and is able to cause a fairly good change in student learning outcomes. And make students become motivated to change the way to learn better than before. This can be seen from the results of interviews conducted by researchers with guidance and counseling teachers and students at school. Abstrak Penelitian ini didasarkan atas permasalahan cara belajar siswa yang masih rendah. permasalahan penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana cara mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa. Yang dirumuskan sebagai berikut : (1) Bagaimana peranan guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa? (2) Bagaimanakah upaya guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa? (3) Apa saja kendala dan hasil yang didapatkan guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa ?Penelitian ini bertujuan, (1.) Untuk mengetahui peranan bimbingan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belalar siswa. (2.) Agar guru berupaya membimbing siswa dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar. (3.) Agar guru dapat mengatasi kendala dan mendapatka hasil dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa. pada tahun ajaran 2014-2015. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan dan konseling dan siswa.Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan analisi kualitatif diartikan sebagai metode penelitian yang alamiah dan naturalistik karena penelitiannya dilakukan pada kondisi yang natural dan penelitian ini dilakukan pada obyek yang alamiah. Dan pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang di lakukan di SMP Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1). Siswa lebih termotivasi dan terarah dalam belajar. Setelah guru bimbingan dan konseling melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar maka diperoleh hasil belajar bahwa peranan guru bimbingan dan konseling sangat memotivasi siswa untuk lebih giat belajar. Melalui bimbingan dan konseling yang dilakukan siswa menjadi lebih bersemangat dalam belajar menuju kesuksesan. (2). Siswa merasa lebih diperhatikan melalui bimbingan dan konseling oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling terhadap siswa yang mengalami masalah kesulitan belajar, maka siswa tersebut merasa mendapat perhatian seperti siswa –siswa yang lain. Dan setelah mereka dibimbing oleg guru bimbingan dan konseling, akhirnya timbul tekad untuk belajar dan memperbaiki hasil belajar mereka. (3). Nilai dan prestasi meningkat. Bimbingan yang dilakukan guru bimbingandan konseling dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa cukup efektif dan mampu menimbulkan perubahan yang cukup baik pada hasil belajar siswa. Dan membuat siswa menjadi termotivasi untuk mengubah cara belajar yang lebih baik lagi dari sebelumnya. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan peneliti dengan guru bimningan dan konseling dan siswa disekolah.

Abstract: Guidance and Counseling Teaching profession is a profession with dignity and requiring scientific competence and qualifications. Many emerging negative perception, even from students of guidance and counseling to the profession of guidance and counseling. The problem in this research is formulated as follows: "What are the perceptions students of Guidance and Counselling, University of Muhammadiyah Metro the teaching profession Counseling?". The goal is to find out how students' perceptions of Guidance and Counselling, University of Muhammadiyah Metro the teaching profession Guidance and Counseling. The method used is quantitative descriptive. The population is students of guidance and counseling, the sample totaled 175 students. Instruments used in the form of Likert scale. The data analysis technique used percentages. The results showed that students' perceptions BK UM Metro is at a very high category to the teaching profession Guidance and Counseling. Suggestions put forward are: Based on these results, the researchers gave some suggestions are as follows: 1) for lecturers to add hours of practicum BK for students, and provide student guidance and counseling opportunities to interact more with teacher guidance and counseling directly in schools, and 2) the students are expected to apply to run a positive perception of the teaching profession Counseling well.Keywords: Perception, Student, Guidance and Counseling

This study aims to determine the important role of the Guidance and Counseling teacher in the development of student character. Character is developed through stages of knowledge (knowing), implementation, and habits. Character is not limited to knowledge. Someone who has knowledge about goodness is not necessarily able to act in accordance with his knowledge, if not trained (become a habit) to do good. Character also reaches into the area of emotions and personal habits. This is needed so that students and / or other school members involved in the education system can simultaneously understand, feel, respect, and practice virtue (moral) values. Counseling teachers here are really needed in terms of Guidance and Counseling that can guide students in developing better characters, so they can become human beings with character. In the signs of organizing guidance and counseling in the formal path it is explained that the guidance and counseling services provided by the guidance and counseling teacher are in the context of service area assignments aimed at developing social care, developing positive emotional aspects, guiding students in guiding life lessons through taking decisions, choosing, achieving, and maintaining achievement. Teacher Guidance and Counseling must facilitate the development and growth of student character. This article is useful to add insight to the students of the Guidance and Counseling study program so that it can be a reference in developing the character of students in high school effectively.

This study originated from research findings and interviews with several people teacher guidance and counseling in SMP South Coastal District which revealed that the performance of teacher guidance and counseling have not described a success made in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, one of them in implementing the guidance and counseling program in schools. The success of guidance and counseling teacher performance can be affected byfactors. Some of these factors is the work motivation and school work climate. There fore, researcher wanted to describe: (1) the performance of guidance and counseling teachers, work motivation, and school work climate, (2) the contribution of work motivation on guidance and counseling teacher performance, (3) contribution of school work climate to the guidance and counseling teacher  performance, and (4) the contribution of work motivation and school work climate on guidance and counseling teacher performance. This study was quantitative research with correlational method. The population research were all counseling teachers at SMP Payakumbuh City whose S.1 guidance and counseling educational background totaling 40 people, the sample were 40 people were selected by total sampling technique. The instrument that was used in this research was the Likert scale. Data were analyzed with simple regression and multiple regression. The findings showed that: (1) in average, the performance of teachers' guidance and counseling are in good enough category, the work motivatio non high category, and school work climate are in good enough, (2) there is contribution of work motivation on teacher performance guidance and counseling 20.8% (r= 0.457. significance 0.003), (3) contribution of school work climate on guidance and counseling teacher performance amounted to 10.72% (r= 0.327, significance 0.039), and 4) there is a contribution of work motivation and school work climate together on teacher performance guidance and counseling were 27% (R= 0.520, significance 0.003). The study results representan input forguidance and counseling teacher, and teachers further enhance employe school work climate and performancein performing their duties and responsibilities as teacher guidance and counseling in school.

The Covid-19 outbreak that hit the whole world had an impact on changes in life patterns and had an impact on education in particular. Making the teaching and learning process carried out at home, Covid-19 raises psychiatric problems due to information that is not necessarily correct coupled with the discovery of the Covid-19 vaccine and cannot be predicted when it will end. It is feared that students will experience stress, depression, and worry about current conditions coupled with learning patterns that burden new learning tasks. So the role of the BK teacher is needed to provide services that help students to overcome the problems currently faced, with counseling services, information services, and media BK. As well as providing assistance to students conducted by BK teachers certainly use media liaison / online such as Zoom, Google Meet, Goole Classroom, and Edmodo. The implementation of giving rocks that are focused on increasing spiritual intelligence because this aspect is the core of the core beliefs of every human being can be sure of life because of the belief about Who Created Everything (Allah), people can be generous because of the promise of alms benefit, people can carry out prayers five times because they have a big principle and are sure of the rewards to be received and people can be good and productive people because a Muslim must be a person who is serious in carrying out his work. The purpose of this study is to provide discourse and idea of the role that can be taken by BK teachers to help overcome the psychiatric problems experienced by students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is the Literature Study. The conclusion is to give a general overview to the teacher guidance and counseling about the roles that can be taken to help alleviate student problems by utilizing the spiritual intelligence of students in the Covid-19 pandemic era by focusing on aspects developed from students, namely Improving Intention, Improving Qolbu Salim, Muhasabah, Personal who are optimistic, and pray.

Guidance and Counseling in schools is a service that is held as one of the support of teaching and learning activities in schools. In its day-to-day activities guidance and counseling is organized by Guidance and Counseling teachers to implement four areas of counseling, counseling services, support activities that all can assist students in learning in school and living everyday life as learners. Based on its activities a Guidance and Counseling teacher needs to master the governance of Guidance and Counseling services in school, because a teacher Guidance and Counseling is a manager and implementer of every Guidance and Counseling service in school. Guidance and Counseling Teachers should be able to design Guidance and Counseling programs, make measurements, archive all counseling data relating to students to the evaluation. All such activities are called governance of Guidance and Counseling services in schools. Thus a Guidance and Counseling teacher has a significant role in governance of counseling and guidance services for students at school. A significant role of teachers Guidance and Counseling can help students in developing personality and ultimately students can plan their future according to capabilities possessed.
