Artikel ini menganalisis kasus kekerasan dalam pendidikan yang melibatkan guru dan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk analisis isi berita kasus kekerasan dalam pendidikan disepanjang tahun 2019. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan informasi-informasi dalam portal berita <em>online </em>mengenai kasus kekerasan dalam pendidikan sebagai sumber data primer. Adapun variabel yang dibahas pada penelitian ini yaitu status pelaku dan korban kekerasan (guru dan siswa), jenis kelamin pelaku dan korban kekerasan (laki-laki dan perempuan), jenjang pendidikan terjadinya tindak kekerasan (SD, SMP, dan SMA), bentuk kekerasan yang sering terjadi (kekerasan fisik dan kekerasan psikis), dan motif pelaku melakukan tindak kekerasan (Faktor psikologis, faktor kedisiplinan, faktor dendam dan faktor gangguan seksual). Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: status pelaku dan korban kekerasan didominasi oleh siswa; sebagian besar jenis kelamin pelaku dan korban kekerasan dalam pendidikan adalah laki-laki; sebagian besar tindak kekerasan terjadi di SMA; bentuk kekerasan yang sering terjadi dalam pendidikan yaitu kekerasan fisik (memukul, menampar, menikam, dan lain-lain); dan motif pelaku melakukan tindak kekerasan adalah faktor kedisiplinan.

Kompentensi guru dalam mengajar merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting untuk disupervisi. Kemampuan ini berkaitan erat dengan kemampuan guru mengajar dikelas. Hal itu meliputi kemmapuan mengelola kelas dan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan interaksi dengan peserta didik Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis beberapa kompetensi guru meliputi kompetensi guru dalam kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, kompetensi profesional guru. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah menerapkan kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, dan kompetensi professional dalam pembelajaran di kelas namun masih perlu ditingkatkan. Ini ditunjukkan oleh data kompetensi penyusunan silabus dan RPS dalam kategori baik, tetapi kompetensi penerapannya dalam pembelajaran masih dalam kategori kurang baik. Disarankan agar guru dapat meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam pembelajaran di kelas dengan mengikuti berbagai pelatihan pengembangan kompetensi.

The dimension of religiosity in counseling activities becomes quite significant because counseling is an activity focused on helping individuals/counselees with all their potential and uniqueness to achieve optimal development. This study aims to examine Buddhist mindfulness counseling. The research method employed in this study was the qualitative method using library research, namely literature search utilizing library sources to obtain research data or limit research activities to Buddhist teachings. This study found a study of the basic philosophy of Buddhist mindfulness counseling, human nature, the function and role of the counselor, the counselee's experience in counseling, the therapeutic relationship between counselor and counselee, counseling techniques, and procedures. Human nature consists of a combination of psychic (<em>n</em><em>āma</em>) and physical (<em>r</em><em>ūpa</em>) which influence one another. It aims at purification of the mind, overcoming sorrow and anxiety, stopping physical and mental suffering, attaining enlightenment, and attaining liberation of <em>Nibb</em><em>āna</em>.

This study aims to determine the attention of parents in student career planning. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were students of class X SMK, amounting to 231 people. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique by using the criteria of students who live with their parents. So that the sample size is 171 students. The instrument in this study was a Likert scale model with five alternative answers and a questionnaire containing statements about parental attention in student career planning. Data were analyzed using the Rasch Model application and using descriptive statistics. The results of the study show that the parental attention instrument is very good for measuring the parental attention that students have. In addition, the results also show that there are students who have parental attention who are in the medium, high, very high, and low categories.

<p>‘Tut Wuri Handayani’ is the slogan of the National Education of Indonesia, written in Sanskrit. It is a Philosophy of Education which was originally promoted by Ki Hajar Dewantara. Practically, it is an accumulation of educational processes that prioritize the transformation of good character and knowledge through Organization Governance that is instigated by educational leadership. In this regard, the paper utilizes literature review method to get information from researchers published in refereed journals regarding process governance, model of organization governance in school and synthesizes the information to show how “Tut Wuri Handayani” can be promoted by the school leaders in order that it can be integrated in the school governance. This paper invites researchers to apply qualitative research designs to explore the possibility of the implementation the Philosophy Education: “Tut Wuri Handayani” in Organization Governance of Schools in Indonesia.</p>

Special intelligent students are excellent human resources and are expected to make a major contribution to people's lives, including achievement in the academic field. With this extraordinary intelligence, special intelligent students should have high self-efficacy, but they are often found who are not confident in their abilities and have an impact on the learning achievement that is not optimal. This is because there are still some of them who do not have a good learning culture. This study aims to analyze the contribution of learning culture to the self-efficacy on special intelligent students in senior high school. This research was used a quantitative method with sampling based on the simple random sampling technique developed by Isaac and Michael. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. Based on SPSS Ver.22 data processing, the results of the correlation test (r-test) show that there is a significant correlation between learning culture and self-efficacy of special intelligent students in a very strong and unidirectional level. The result shows that learning culture has a positive effect on the self-efficacy of special intelligent students. In the calculation of the coefficient of determination, it is known that the effect of learning culture on the self-efficacy of special intelligent students is 68.6%, while the remaining 31.4% is influenced by other factors not examined. It can be concluded that learning culture has a positive effect on the self-efficacy of special intelligent students. The better learning culture of special intelligent students, the higher their self-efficacy.

One that affects the success of student learning is motivation. Less motivation to learn in students will affect the decrease in enthusiasm for learning and learning outcomes. There are several factors that influence the motivation of students in learning, including the support of parents and peers. This research aims to; (1) Describe the contribution of parental support, peer conformity and students' learning motivation, and (2) examine the contribution of parental support and peer conformity together on students' learning motivation. This study uses a quantitative approach with analytical descriptive method. The sample in this study were students of class VII and VIII, a total of 108 students. This research instrument uses a Likert scale model. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques, then using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings show that in general; 1) students' parental support is in the high category, peer conformity of students is in the very high category, students' learning motivation is in the very high category, and 2) there is a strong and positive relationship between parental support and students' learning motivation. . This research has implications for the educational process in schools as a contribution to parental support and positive peer conformity which makes students have high learning motivation and are confident in their own abilities.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peranan religiusitas dalam kehidupan remaja, baik kehidupan sosial di lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, ataupun masyarakat. Religiusitas mampu mengarahkan remaja untuk bersikap lebih baik dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari.. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan konformitas teman sebaya dan kecanduan smartphone dengan religiusitas. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik<em> </em><em>proportional stratified random sampling</em>. Jumlah sampel adalah sebanyak 289 orang siswa SMA N 12 Padang. Adapun instrumen yang dipakai adalah skala model Likert yang berisi tentang konformitas teman sebaya, religiusitas siswa dan kecanduan penggunaan <em>smartphone</em>. Selanjutnya teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, regresi sederhana, dan regresi ganda. Adapun hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan konformitas teman sebaya dan kecanduan smartphone dengan religiusitas.

Problem solving skills are the abilities to identify problems, search and select various alternative solutions and make decisions in solving all the problems at hand. Problem solving skills are 21st century skills that are needed by society and the world of work. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The research sample consisted of 300 students who were selected using the stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument used a scale of student problem solving skills. The Analysis of Data used descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test, and ANOVA with the help of the SPSS program. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded (1) the average level of student problem solving skills is in the medium category (62.3%), (2) there is no significant difference in the level of student problem solving skills based on gender, (3) there is no significant difference in the level of student problem solving skills based on developmental status, (4) there is a significant difference in the level of problem solving skills of students based on age groups. The age group that has a significant effect on the difference in the average score of problem solving skills of students aged 23 years

Idealnya remaja mampu mencapai kematangan yang baik secara sikap, emosi, dan pikiran maka hal ini merujuk pada kesadaran untuk memperoleh kehidupan yang penuh kebahagiaan hal ini erat kaitannya dengan kontrol diri dan <em>subjective well being</em>. Remaja dengan <em>subjective well being </em> bagus akan mampu mencapai berbagai kebahagiaan dalam hidupnya, mampu mencapai tujuan, optimis, bisa bersosialisasi, mampu mengontrol diri dan adanya perubahan ke arah yang positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan (1) tingkat kontrol diri remaja (2) menjelaskan <em>subjective well being </em>remaja dan (3) menguji korelasi kontrol diri dengan <em>subjective well being </em>remaja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif korelasional. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik <em>proportional random sampling, </em>maka diperoleh sampel sebanyak 182 orang siswa. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasional. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kontrol diri remaja secara umum berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) <em>subjective well being</em> remaja secara umum berada pada kategori sedang, (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan <em>subjective well being</em> remaja etnis minangkabau.
