Government policy in opposing the Covid-19 pandemic with the aim of preventing and breaking the chain of transmission of Covid-19 discusses the application of PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) and conducting learning in networks (brave) in the field of education. Likewise the implementation of guidance and counseling services is done online or online by utilizing rapidly developing technology. The technology that was originally used in counseling is only as a supporting tool to facilitate data collection, data processing, needs assessment, and service support, now internet-based technology has become a major need that influences the success in implementing counseling and guidance services during the PSBB. Accordingly, the survey results show that the number of internet users aged 10-14 years was 66.2%, aged 15-19 years 91% which were the most users (APJII, 2018) and in 2020 the literacy age of 15 years and over was 96 % ranks the top of internet users. This can be used as a benchmark that the age of ramaja or students is a potential age of using the internet, which means that between counselor and counselee has the potential to be able to carry out interactive communication. So there needs to be adjustments and guidelines for guidance and counseling services based on information technology, so that counseling service activities remain effective and optimal. In the implementation of BK services that are carried out by using several applications from various platforms and technologies, it is necessary to pay attention to several things including potential, obstacles or challenges, strengths, weaknesses, and code of ethics in implementing information technology-based guidance and counseling services.
