Abstract With proper maintenance of many territories a technological operation of collecting and raking up chopped residues of undesirable tree and shrub vegetation is often performed. At the same time, despite the variety of mechanization tools used, their classification is currently difficult. The purpose of the research was to develop a classification of technical means for collecting and raking chopped residues with the justification of their name and rational definition. Based on the analysis of more than 500 models the authors of the research recommended to designate the considered technical means as “Forest Rake” and a corresponding definition has been formulated. The authors of the carried out the classification of forest rakes, a system of equations has been developed that describes the position of the boundaries of the characteristic zones of the distribution of the working width of the forest rake, the boundary values of a number of parameters are shown, the criteria for the density of the teeth and the specific width of the rake are proposed, the values of these criteria are given. The results of the work can be used by manufacturing enterprises engaged in the maintenance and operation of transport infrastructure facilities.

Abstract The technological operation of AUV docking is considered. An approach to its solution and modeling is proposed. A system for determining the relative position based on cameras and active-light markers is described. Active markers are offered to improve detection in dark deep water. A system of equations for modeling the dynamics of an underwater vehicle is described and a complete mathematical modeling of the whole pipeline of the positioning system is performed: image synthesis based on scene geometry, position determination based on the solution of the PnP problem, generating control based on synthesized measurements and modelling of the corresponding movement of the AUV. The presented model can be used to test various scenarios for the execution of a docking operation.

Usually, loading and unloading of cargo ships takes place in ports that are equipped with the infrastructure necessary to carry out such operations. In the Arctic, often a helicopter is the only way to get the cargo to the right place. Finding the optimal geographic location for unloading a ship using helicopters is an important task. It is necessary to create a support system for making the right decisions in such situations. Mathematical modeling has been used to find the geographical location that ensures the most favorable and quickest delivery of cargo from a vessel to its destination, using a helicopter. A criterion has also been found in which the search for the optimum point is a more rational way of unloading the vessel compared to other discharge options. The maps of the economic benefits of loading and unloading operations in this model have been developed. Using the example of the developed model, it is shown that during the transportation of goods in Ob Bay, significant economic and temporary advantages can be obtained. The developed model can be extended to the case of cargo delivery not only in the Arctic conditions, but also where the transport infrastructure is insufficiently developed.

SummaryWe use unique rich data for German manufacturing enterprises to investigate the product diversification - firm performance relationship. We find that an increase in the degree of product diversification has a negative impact on profitability when observed and unobserved firm characteristics are controlled for. The effects are statistically significant and large from an economic point of view. This helps to understand the fact that nearly 40 percent of all enterprises with at least 20 employees are single-product firms according to a detailed classification of products, and that multi-product enterprises with a large number of goods are a rare species.

Order changes too frequently or even out of control, will have very adverse effects on their business; therefore the control of change orders is essential. This paper first analyzes the characteristics and forms of mechanical order changes, and then the application form finishing methods on the classification of the demand for change orders and change orders, and finally the general machinery enterprises in order to change the audit process and principles.

Design-manufacturing integration is one of the most signicant contemporary trends in new product development (NPD) for manufacturing enterprises. Exploring the implementation capability of manufacturing enterprises through the assessment of design-manufacturing integration is an important and crucial step for determining what kind of design-manufacturing integration is appropriate for manufacturing enterprises. However, quantitative evaluation of design-manufacturing integration is rather limited so far. In this paper, we view design-manufacturing integration as a complex adaptive system (CAS), an effective evaluation method for design-manufacturing integration is proposed. To classify the manufacturing enterprises into which can quickly adapt to the environment or not, support vector machine is utilized. Selecting relevant features among the features available for classification of was also dealt with. The experiment results demonstrate the proposed method is useful for Design-manufacturing integration quantitatively.

The article considers the conditions of the EAEU as a favorable environment for the supply and sales markets of domestic enterprises. The advantages of the EAEU for domestic enterprises, such as a unified transport infrastructure and document flow and the abolition of customs formalities, are highlighted. The characteristics of indicators of mutual trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the EAEU member States for 2018 and 2019 in general terms are given. The dynamics and the share of exports and imports of the EAEU in the total volume of export and import operations in the context of each member of the EAEU are considered. The commodity structure of Kazakhstan's import and export products with the EAEU countries is studied, where the main groups of commodity products are identified. The structure of export and import supplies in the context of the percentage ratio by product groups is determined to identify the main product groups of exports and imports to determine the properties and characteristics of supply chains. The general classification of supply chains for analyzing the properties and characteristics of the main commodity groups of exports and imports of Kazakhstan with the EAEU countries is given. Selected mineral products, which account for almost 40% of the total volume of exports to the countries and the EAEU, for which an analysis of the properties and characteristics of supply chains is provided.

The need for this competency among specialists in the digital economy is shown. The motivation of the student the future specialist in the digital economy in mastering the basic techniques of economic processes and systems modeling is outlined. The sections of the school course in mathematics are given, which are the basis for the development of these skills. Mathematical courses are examined; their study is considered to be the foundation for the development of the competence in economic processes modeling. The author describes the main types of mathematical models that are studied at the present stage at universities of economics and are widely used in the digital economy. The author also presents a classification of the models used in the educational process while studying mathematical courses. The main requirements for economic-mathematical models are discussed and substantiated. The author has listed necessary requirements for teachers of mathematical departments of universities. These requirements can help them to teach basic mathematics and its applied sections (e.g. mathematical modeling) to students successfully. Flow of liquid melt in the crystallizer is a little-studied process. Analytical solutions of melt flow in general case refer to complex mathematical problems, therefore numerical methods are used to model it. The purpose of this work is to use numerical method proposed by Professor V.I. Odinokov, based on finite-difference representation of the initial system of equations. This method has been successfully used in mechanics of continuous media, in foundry industry in mathematical modeling of strained deformed state of shell molds on investment models,as well as in other technological works, which indicates its universality. In the present study, the object of research is hydrodynamic flows of liquid metal during steel casting into a rectangular section mold when fed from a submerged nozzle with eccentric holes, and the result is a spatial mathematical model describing the flows of liquid metal in the crystallizer. To simulate the processes occurring in the crystallizer, the software complex “Odyssey” was used. The theoretical calculation is based on fundamental equations of hydrodynamics and approved numericalmethod. Solution of differential equations system formulatedin the work was carried out numerically. Investigated area was divided into elements of finite dimensions, for each element the resulting system of equations was written in the difference form. The result of the solution is velocity field of metal flow in crystallizer volume. To solve the system of algebraic equations obtained, a numerical scheme and a calculation algorithm were developed. Based on developed numerical scheme and algorithm, a computation program was compiled in Fortran-4. Mathematical model makes it possible to vary geometric dimensions of the crystallizer and cross-section of metal exit openings from the immersion nozzle, and it can also help to understand the flow pattern of the cast metal that affects heat dissipation of crystallizer walls and to find the optimal parameters for liquid metal outlet from the gravy glass at various casting modes. As an example it is given calculation of steel casting into a rectangular mold with a height of 100 cm and a section of 2000×40 (cm) in plan. Casting was carried out from immersion nozzle eccentrically in both sides in a horizontal plane. The calculation results are presented in graphical form. The movement of liquid metal flows is shown, their magnitudes and intensity are determined.
