Mathematical problem solving ability is surely the must-have any students in doinga math problem that is abstract. But many of the students who have not been able to use the problem-solving ability in doing a math problem. Many of them assumed that mathematics is a difficult lesson, and it usually requires a high concentration oflearning math. So the efficacy of self (self efficacy) is in need of students to cope with these problems. Self-efficacy (self efficacy) refers to the belief that relates to the ability and willingness of a student to achieve and complete tasks and results of the study with the target time has been determined and self efficacy refers to the consideration of how big someone's beliefs about their ability to perform a number of learning activities and their ability to complete tasks. Students who have a good self-efficacy will be successful in theirlearning activities andcanperform academic duties smoothly likewise viceversa if the efficacy in low students then have students will quickly give up on any problems in dealing with. Hence the need for self-efficacy so that arise from the student is either the later will provide confidence in the ability of students in solving mathematical problems.

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the audiovisual e-module for basic arithmetic operations based on understanding concepts and moral values. The development model used is 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data in the study were collected with validation sheets, practicality sheets, response questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. After the define and design stages have been carried out, Draft I of the e-module is obtained. At the develop stage, a validity test was carried out on five validators, an empirical test was done to 1 teacher and 5 students, as well as a field test to a class 2A MI Humaira' Bengkulu City so that a valid, practical, and effective e-module was produced. This e-module has some advantages, namely providing interactive learning activities with clear and detailed pictures, videos and learning steps, motivating students to learn mathematics, explaining material according to mathematical concepts, containing moral values that can be imitated, giving project activities that can be done independently, as well as practicing students' mathematical problem solving skills.

Secara klasikal terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan sebanyak 4 orang dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan PMRI dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VIIc MTs Diniyah Puteri Pekanbaru.ABSTRACTThis research is a classroom action research in collaboration with schools mathematics teachers so that the purpose of research is to improve the learning process so as to have an impact on improving the students' mathematical problem solving ability VIIc grade MTs Diniyah Puteri Pekanbaru. Theoretically chosen a learning process that is appropriate to the problem in the class is Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) as its application. In this study was designed to implement an approach based on the characteristics PMRI. The study consisted of two cycles to improve the learning process and see the students' mathematical problem solving ability. Based on the analysis of data using observation sheet in cycle 1 and cycle 2, the improvements were visible learning process of the students in learning activities, working together, curiosity, discussion and responses to the group presentation. Furthermore, if the review test students' mathematical problem solving ability then gained an average of 63.15 with a mastery of as many as 11 students while in the second cycle obtain an average of 70.70 with a mastery of as many as 15 students. Traditionally an increase of completeness of 4 people from cycle 1 to cycle 2 it could be concluded that PMRI approach could improve the learning process and improve students' mathematical problem solving ability class VIIc MTs Diniyah Puteri Pekanbaru.

One of the purpose mathematic learning is to develop problem solving abilities. Problem solving is obtained through experience in questioning non-routine. Improving students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities required an appropriate strategy in learning activities one of them is models problem based learning (PBL). Thus, the purpose of this research is to determine whether the problem solving abilities of mathematical students’ who learn to use PBL better than on the ability of students’ mathematical problem solving by applying conventional learning. This research included quasi experiment with static group design and population is students class XI MIA SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung. Class experiment in the class XI MIA 5 and class control in the class XI MIA 6. The instrument of final test students’ mathematical problem solving used essay form. The result of data final test in analyzed with t- test. The result is students’ mathematical problem solving abilities with PBL better then on the ability of students’ mathematical problem solving by applying conventional learning. It’s seen from the high percentage achieved by the group of students who learn to use PBL for each indicator of students’ mathematical problem solving.

Students' mathematical problem solving ability is one thing that must be considered. This is because when students are given problem solving problems in the form of routine students are able to solve these problems, but if a non-routine problem arises, students will have difficulty. During teaching and learning activities students are able to solve problems when presented with questions of the same type. However, if given a variety of questions, some students have difficulty working on them. This study aims to explore and describe students' mathematical problem solving abilities in solving spatial problems. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that high-ability subjects can understand the problem by writing steps, solving problems, re-examining the results of work very precisely and correctly. Students with moderate abilities can only solve problems without writing what is known and asked. Meanwhile, low-ability students cannot fulfill all aspects of mathematical problem solving.
