The problem in this study is the low ability of students to solve mathematical problems. To solve this problem, the researchers used the ARIAS model. As for the purpose of this study is to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, increase student activity, improve teacher teaching abilities through the ARIAS learning model. This type of research is classroom action research. The results of the research the problem-solving ability of the first cycle was 56% and 88% in the second cycle increased by 32%. The level of student activity towards mathematics increased, this was obtained by a percentage of 62% in cycle I, and 85% in cycle II increased by 23%. The teacher's ability to manage to learn was 56% in cycle I and 94% in cycle II, with an increase of 38%. The author concluded that students 'mathematical problem-solving abilities, student learning activities, and teachers' ability to manage learning increased in class X MIA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak.

The problem in this classroom action research is whether the learning outcomes of class VI students at SDN 02 Talun, Pekalongan Regency can be improved through the implementation of creative problem solving (CPS) models? The purpose of this classroom action research is to find out whether the application of the CPS learning model can improve student learning outcomes and how the changes in the level of student activity during learning with the applied creative problem solving learning model. The subjects in this classroom action research were 28 students of class VI. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles where each cycle consisted of 2 learning meetings. The indicator of the success of this research is that student learning outcomes increase if the average student learning outcomes reach an average value of 70 and the number of students who complete learning is 85%. The results of this classroom action research indicate an increase in student learning outcomes in the evaluation of cycles I and II, namely an increase in the class average value from 71.75 to 76.63 with the percentage of classical completeness in cycle I reaching 75% and cycle II reaching 89.28. %. The increase in student learning outcomes was followed by changes in the level of student activity during learning, namely the first cycle from 67.5% to 85% in the second cycle. Observation of teacher activities has increased from 75% in the first cycle to 90% in the second cycle. Based on the results of these studies, suggestions that can be given are the need to apply the CPS learning model to improve learning outcomes and student activity.

The aim of this study was to improve the learning achievement and activities of students through the implementation of the Problem Solving learning method in Mol Concept. This study was conducted by using two cycles of classroom action research. The subject of this research was 25 students of class X-2 MAN Rukoh Banda Aceh. The result of the implementation of learning Problem Solving method showed that there is improvement of student learning achievement from Cycle I to Cycle II. It could be seen from the results of research that showing about 64% of students had passed learning in Cycle I and about 88% in Cycle II. While the observation was conducted, the improvement of learning activities of students amounts 50%. Based the result of this study, it is can be concluded that the implementation of learning Problem Solving method can improve the learning achievement and activities of the student in Mol Concept.

Mathematical problem solving is a problem solving that uses mathematical problem solving. Students in the problem solving did not use the polya method so that students succeeded in difficulties. Educators still use conventional learning models so that students become bored, passive and reluctant to ask whether going forward working on the questions given by the educator, so that new learning models need to be applied. The e-learning learning model assisted with Edmodo learning media is an online presentation material on an Edmodo account using the mobile phone of students. PAM is the knowledge learned by students before getting learning material. This study aims to study the interaction of e-learning learning models assisted by Edmodo learning media to solve mathematical problems. This study is quantitative research. Data collection used with tests, interviews, collection and collection. The data analysis technique uses two-way anava test with cells that are not the same. From the results of the analysis, the influence of the e-learning learning model on mathematical problem solving abilities. It is necessary to question the high, medium, and low mathematical initial knowledge of Great mathematical problem solving ability, then there is no difference between assisted e-learning learning models edmodo, mathematical initial knowledge of mathematical problem solving abilities.

AbstractThis study aims to improve students' problem-solving abilities with STAD cooperative learning model on the subject of integers class VII SMP Negeri 3 Galang. This type of  research is a classroom action research. The subjects were students of class VII-1 SMP Negeri 3 Assemble TA2014/2015 which amounted to28 students. The object of  this study is an effort to improve the ability of mathematical problem solving through cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division(STAD) on the subject of Integer. The research instrument used is the observation and mathematical problem solving ability test.  From the results of problem solving ability test, the data obtained were 9 students (32.14%), which reached the criteria of problem-solving abilities. After being given the treatment by applying the learning model STAD (first cycle), it is provided TKPMI .From the TKPMI data showed that as many as16students(57.14%) of the28students(2.74 value) that reaches criteria problem-solving abilities. This shows that in the first cycle of mathematical problem solving ability of students as a whole h as not reached 85%, the continued action on the second cycle. From the results TKPMII data showed that as many as 24 students (85.71%) of  the 28 students (3.15 value) that reaches criteria problem-solving abilities. This shows that the mathematical problem solving ability of students as a whole has reached 85%, then the action is stopped. Based on t he above results, it can be concluded that by applying STAD cooperative learning model can improve students' mathematical problem solving ability on the subject of integers in class VII SMP Negeri 3Galang.Keywords: STAD, improve, test, problem, solving

In purpose of learning mathematics exist one aspect must be improved is mathematical problem solving ability. But in fact, a level of students’ ability in pertained to weak. A trigonometry is one of the material which is quite difficult understood students XI grade in SMA ISTIQOMAH Bandung. It is need to be held a solution in learning that is using Problem Based Learning (PBL). This research using the method classroom action research with two cycles, which each cycles has two meetings. At the end of each cycle, students are given a written test in the form of a description. The result of research, show an increase on the mathematical problem solving ability by applying PBL. Seen from the results of the average score on each cycle, pre-cycle results with a score 37, in cycle one the score becomes 69 (42,30%), and in cycle two the score becomes 77 (69,23%).

Education is a conscious and planned effort organized by school institutions to guide and train learners to grow awareness about the existence of life and the ability to solve every problem of life that always arises. It is reminded that teaching and learning activities are held in order to provide students with learning experiences. Selection of learning models used by teachers in delivering taught material can affect learning outcomes. One model of cooperative learning is Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. The TGT learning model is a group learning model that involves student activity with an exchange of thoughts or ideas constructing knowledge amongst students in groups when getting assigned. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) or Classroom Action Research is a research that is intended to provide information on how appropriate action to improve teachers' ability and student activeness. The results of the implementation of the first cycle of action I have achieved the classical indicator that has reached 62.5% students score above 70 and the results in cycle II reach 92% students score above 70.

The purpose of this study is to examine the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model that influences students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental approach. The quasi-experimental design used is a posttest-only control group design. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique in order to obtain two class groups with different treatments. To obtain data in this study, the instrument of student learning activity sheets and test questions of students' mathematical problem solving abilities was used. The data analysis techniques used consisted of descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this study reveals that there is significant effect of the MMP learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities as indicated by the achievements: (1) student learning activities with the MMP model carried out both by teachers and students are in the very good and good category; (2) the mathematical problem solving ability of students who were treated with the MMP model was 71.60 higher on average compared to students who were treated with the conventional learning model of 35.48; (3) the mathematical problem solving ability of students who were treated with the MMP model was better than students who were treated with the conventional learning model.

Mathematical problem solving ability is surely the must-have any students in doinga math problem that is abstract. But many of the students who have not been able to use the problem-solving ability in doing a math problem. Many of them assumed that mathematics is a difficult lesson, and it usually requires a high concentration oflearning math. So the efficacy of self (self efficacy) is in need of students to cope with these problems. Self-efficacy (self efficacy) refers to the belief that relates to the ability and willingness of a student to achieve and complete tasks and results of the study with the target time has been determined and self efficacy refers to the consideration of how big someone's beliefs about their ability to perform a number of learning activities and their ability to complete tasks. Students who have a good self-efficacy will be successful in theirlearning activities andcanperform academic duties smoothly likewise viceversa if the efficacy in low students then have students will quickly give up on any problems in dealing with. Hence the need for self-efficacy so that arise from the student is either the later will provide confidence in the ability of students in solving mathematical problems.

The material the area and volume of curved space includes geometry subject matter. The fact found that the learning outcomes of class IX A students of SMP Negeri 1 Wanaraya, Barito Kuala in Mathematics are still low. The average score obtained by students is 59. While the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) is set >70. At least 80% of students scored >70 in Mathematics. To improve student learning outcomes on the material, classroom action research was carried out by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. This study aims to increase student activity, teacher activity in learning, student responses to Think Pair Share learning and student learning outcomes in terms of area and volume of curved spaces.The research was carried out according to the Classroom Action Research procedure, starting with planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection was carried out with tests and observations of 22 class IX A students in the odd semester of the 2018/2019. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Cycle I consisted of 2 meetings. Cycle II consisted of 2 meetings.The results showed that the Think Pair Share learning model could improve student activities, teachers, and student learning outcomes. In the first cycle of student activity obtained 85.5%, teacher activity obtained 89.6%, student learning outcomes based on classical completeness 95.5% and student responses to learning obtained 94.2%. In Cycle II student activity was obtained 82.1%, teacher activity obtained 89.6%, student learning outcomes based on classical completeness 90.9% and student responses to learning obtained 95.1%

This study aims are to determine the improvement of mathematical problem solving skills with the application of math mobile learning media. The study was conducted in fourth grade of SD 1 PasuruhanKidul Kudus in the academic year 2018/2019 with the number of students 19.The research method used was the classroom action research method which lasted for two cycles, namely in cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The independent variable in this study is math mobile learning media, while the dependent variable is the ability to solve math problems, student learning activities, and teacher teaching skills. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, documentation and tests. This data analysis technique uses quantitative and qualitative data analysis.The results of this study indicate that the increase is, (1) The average mathematical problem solving ability of students with the percentage of classical completeness 68.42% (enough) in the first cycle to 94.73% (good) in the second cycle, (2) Activities student learning has increased with a value of 64.48 less (need guidance) in the first cycle and 76.72 (good) in the second cycle. (3) The percentage of teaching skills of teachers has increased by a percentage of 71% (enough) in the first cycle and 80.5% (good) in the second cycle. Based on the results of research carried out in class IV SD 1 PasuruhanKidul Kudus, it can be concluded that through math mobile learning media can improve the ability to solve mathematical problems in the surrounding material and flat area, student learning activities and teaching skills of teachers in teaching and learning.
