Abstract Background: A common recommendation is to reduce the consumption of snack food and replace this consumption with nutrient-dense foods. The objective was to establish whether there were changes in adherence to the consumption of the snack pattern (SP) in Colombian children and adults in the 2010-2015 quinquennium. In addition, this study aimed to establish the relationship between the SP and some biological, socioeconomic, and geographic variables in Colombia, Sur América. Methods: Based on a Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) applied both in 2010 and 2015 in the national nutritional situation surveys, the adherence to the snack consumption pattern was established through factor analysis. The change in the adherence of consumption to the SP was established for the five-year period [2015 minus 2010], using multiple linear regression models. Crude and adjusted differences were estimated by the following covariables: sex, age, marital status, food security, wealth index, ethnicity, education of the head of the household, area and region. In total, 37,981 subjects were analyzed. In 2010, 10,150 children (5 to 17 years old) and 5,145 adults (18 to 64 years old) were included, and in 2015, 13,243 children and 9,443 adults. Results: In children, the adjusted difference in the adherence to SP was -0.37 (95% CI: -0.42, -0.32), p < 0.0001. In adults, the adjusted difference in the adherence to SP was -0.27 (95% CI: -0.31, -0.24), p < 0.0001. In all categories of covariables, consumption decreased, for all p < 0.0001. In children the decrease in consumption was inversely associated with body mass index (BMI) and height and was directly associated with the level of food security in the home and the wealth index. In adults the decrease in consumption was inversely related to age and BMI and directly related to the size, the level of food security of the household, wealth index, and education level. Conclusions: In the quinquennium there is a decrease in the adherence to the SP, the region, the wealthiest, the tallest, the best BMI and the most educated displayed the greatest decrease in the SP. The purpose of this study is to examine differences in perceptions of generations related to service-orientation and trust to tax officers. Changes traditional paradigm of the relationship between tax officers and taxpayers from “cops and robbers” to "clients" cause the research in perception of service-orientation and trust to tax officers to be necessary in order to improve voluntary tax compliance. This study also explains perceptions of tax fairness in three perspectives which are vertical equity, horizontal equity, exchange equity. The survey was conducted in 2018 with 165 self-employment individual taxpayers consisting of three generations, Millennials, X, and Baby Boomers from two types of work, retail/production and services business. This study uses quota sampling to collect respondents and use ANOVA statistical tests. The results of the study indicate differences in perceptions regarding service-orientation between generations. However, there are no differences in perception related trust to tax officers between generations. This research also found that Millenials, X, and Baby Boomer have different perceptions of vertical equity, horizontal equity, and exchange equity

With the advent of technology, banking and financial services have widened their scope. India achieved FinTech adoption rate of 87 percent as against the global average of 64 percent mostly contributed by FinTech startups aiming for providing access to financial services even in the remotest areas. Realizing the potential of FinTech to contribute toward financial inclusion and stability, the Governments have taken requisite steps toward digital transformation and promote FinTech ventures. In order to meet the customers’ needs, collaborative moves with FinTech firms have been initiated by financial institutions as well. This article aims to investigate the relationship between different demographic profiles, the adoption of FinTech services, the perception, user pattern, and constraints faced by the bank customers in using FinTech services. The results based on survey of 215 respondents reveal significant association between usage of FinTech services and different demographic profiles. However, the awareness and use of such services is found more among millennials and generation Z as compared with generation X and baby boomers. While the FinTech companies gained the popularity in payment space, it is observed that misconception is an important factor that hinders the growth of technology-based services among respondents.

Data were analyzed using chi-square test and linear regression. Results: The results showed that was a significant correlation between the role of parents (p= 0.006)), the role of friends (p= 0.000), perceptions of snack (p= 0.045), pocket money (p= 0.023) with overweight incidence. Conclusion: The role of friends and perceptions of snacks show positive correlation that could be at risk for overweight incidents, meanwhile the role of parents show a protective factors for overweight incidents. It is suggested to give nutrition education to school children, so that they have the correct perception about snacks and the parents to pay attention about healthy snacks to prevent overweight incidents in school children.ABSTRAKLatar Belakang : Gizi lebih (obesitas dan overweight) menjadi permasalahan yang tidak hanya terjadi pada saat dewasa tetapi mulai dari anak-anak, tak terkecuali anak sekolah.
