Twenty years have elapsed since H. C. Beck and the present writer published a preliminary paper on the origin of British faience beads with special reference to those of the segmented variety and, except for the discovery and recognition of many new specimens over much wider areas it may be said that nothing has emerged to alter materially the general conclusions there enunciated that an Egyptian origin was the most likely for a number of the beads and that their dissemination to the British Isles took place during the Eighteenth Dynasty around about 1400 B.C.At the time of writing we not unnaturally concentrated on British specimens, as European analogues appeared to be conspicuously absent, and confined our attention primarily to morphological characters. We had, however, projected a wider study to embrace faience objects in general and, if possible, to adduce spectrographic evidence as further proof of identity or otherwise. Unfortunately the sudden death of Mr Beck in 1939 and the intervention of the war years greatly retarded progress in this direction. But the rapid recognition of old finds and the accumulation of new ones, mostly in Europe, in post-war years, coupled with a number of spectrographic analyses that have since been carried out with the help of Mr L. C. Thomas, now renders it desirable to review such progress as has been made in this most difficult and complex subject.

In this article the author presented the program of development of arbitrary behavior of preschool children by optimizing their emotional experiences and parent-child relationships. The components of the program is methodological, practical, diagnostic blocks. By methodological unit is objective, methodical approaches, principles and objectives. Practical unit describes the contents, forms, methods and techniques of application of arbitrary behavior of children under school age. The diagnostic block contains the procedure, content, methods and techniques for measuring the results of this program. The main objective of this program was to: review the parents of minimum required knowledge of emotional distress, arbitrary behavior of preschool children and their conditions of system parent-child interaction; familiarize parents with effective methods of arbitrary behavior of preschoolers; intensification of the educational potential of family by including both parents in the upbringing of their own children; implementation in practice of family education together - father and mother - appropriate approaches to education, independent, emotionally happy child. A complex subject classes the designated program. Subjects consisted of 17 complex, developmental classes with elements of training for parents. Complete correction classes and personal development preschooler constructed on the basis of unity of mental and emotional (affective and cognitive), internal and external components of the mental development of children.

Translanguaging is a tool for bilingual or multilingual to learn more than one language.  In the field of linguistic, translanguaging is not something new. However, its implementation is still found rare in higher education. To fill this void, this study aims to investigate the implementation of translanguaging in classroom, especially in higher education. This research was intended to answer how helpful translanguaging practices in EFL Classroom is. By using qualitative method, the data were collected by recording two credits full face-to-face classroom interaction. One lecturer and her forty-five students voluntarily became the research participants.  The data were then analyzed by using thematic analysis. The findings showed that the practices were helpful in a way that the tutors could build an engaging dialogue for the students, enabling them to understand the complex learning materials. These findings then implied that in the teaching and learning process, EFL lecturers tend to be more attentive as they prefer to have their students understanding on complex subject to build English proficiency of their students’.

Seeger and Stiehm should be congratulated on their recent careful review of a complex subject, T and B lymphocyte subpopulations.1 They correctly point out the technical problems in the identification of these cell types as well as their significance in the evaluation of certain immunological disorders. In their discussion of T-cell leukemia, however, the authors make the point that T-cell malignancies may be more frequent in younger children, on the basis of a review of lymphoid cell subpopulations by Kersey et al.2

PurposeInvestigation of housing adaptability is related to understanding factors that influence project transformation. Factors may be associated with the design and project stage as also alternative uses to existing buildings. To structure methodology for criteria analysis of adaptability, the research aims to verify the importance level of factors related to adaptability and flexibility context in architecture.Design/methodology/approachEmploying a multicriteria analysis and a diagnosis performed with architecture professionals, criteria importance identified in a bibliographic survey is contacted.FindingsWith harmonious results, key elements highlighted in the diagnosis are discussed. Adaptability and flexibility are mainly related to balance in the design of spaces and their connections, so the user can have control administrating the organization of their habitat.Originality/valueAs a complex subject, involving legal, social and cultural issues, the multicriteria method supports the scientific analysis of data. The results can be used in a practical case study as assessment of housing adaptability and flexibility, as a useful tool to decision support in architectural project.
