Cultural and creative industry is the second largest pillar industry of the tertiary industry, with the characteristics of innovative, high value and strong correlation relationship. The development of industrial cluster is helpful to cultural communication and information transfer, so it can enhance the competitiveness of the creative industry. The key problems need to be solved are the development condition and development strategy of creative industry cluster. This paper builds a mathematical model of two areas and two enterprises to study how can the effect of location factor and aggregation influence the development of cultural and creative industries, and the result shows a series of optimal development forms of the cultural and creative industry under different conditions. Finally four piece of recommendations to promote the development of creative industry clusters have been put forward.

Salt culture is the main component of traditional culture in Zigong, Sichuan.With centuries of history, it has accumulated rich cultural connotations. At present, Zigong salt culture, as a precious traditional cultural wealth, has taken cultural and creative industries as a new carrier of communication in the rapid development of digital new media technology, giving full play to the resource advantages of its traditional culture. This article focuses on the study of the development path of Zigong salt cultural and creative industry in the new digital media era. Combining digital new media technology with cultural and creative industries, Zigong salt culture actively uses virtual technology to realize the innovative development of cultural and creative industries, promote the cultivation of cultural and creative brands based on digital new media technology. This article aims to give relevant strategies with reference value, so as to make corresponding contributions to the development path of Zigong salt culture in the future.

Indonesia is the largest producer and the exporter of palm oil in the world which has three palm oil industrial cluster (POIC) areas that are Sei Mangkei (North Sumatera), Dumai (Riau), and Maloy (East Kalimantan). To carry out the delivery of palm oil products to the destination countries, the Palm oil from the three POICs must be transshipment in Malaysia and Singapore. In line with this issues, a strategy to develop the POIC based international connectivity need to be done. This study aims to identify the actual conditions of POIC Indonesia, to determine the factors (internal and external) that influence the development of POIC, and to formulate priority strategy for developing POIC Indonesia. These are needed so that Indonesia can become a hub port of international trade especially in Asia. This research uses "Diamonds" Porter’s Model, gap analysis, and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Based on the ana­lysis connectivity, the main strategy that can be formulated in order to develop Indonesian palm oil industry cluster is infrastructure improvements. This strategy can be done if the government (the Ministry of economy, Ministry of industry and trade, Ministry of sea, PT PELINDO, and local government), private sector, academic, and the public is able to work together and integrated.

<p>Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have an important role and strategic for economic growth. This is because at the time of the economic crisis in Indonesia, SMEs are the economic sectors which have the most excellent durability. Wedoro Village in Sidoarjo city, Indonesia, is famous for the footwear creative industry especially slippers and shoes. A wide variety of slippers and shoes with different types available. Stores and outlets are widespread across the village. Wedoro region has been known as one of the predecessors of creative industries in the field of footwear. Currently the industrial centres of creative footwear is experiencing a decline in sales compared with its heyday in 2001-2006 years ago. This research aims to design a development strategy of the creative industry centre in Wedoro by using SWOT analysis and grand strategy. The results of this study indicate that the cause of the decline in sales is a flood of Chinese products, rising raw material prices, and the lack of innovation in product design. Hence, creative industry in Indonesia especially in Wedoro Village might need a guidance from the government in developing innovation in product design and marketing. It is therefore expected that the existence of a creative industry in Wedoro can grow and create occupations especially for local residents and also increase the revenue of the Sidoarjo city.</p>

This paper explores Cultural and Creative Industry (CCI) teaching and curriculum development across disciplines, based on a case study of a newly established Cultural and Creative Industry (CCI) programme at the School of Modern Languages, Cardiff University, UK. It illustrates how different academic values and goals influence styles of teaching and curriculum development, and it considers how this drives disciplinary evolution. As CCI increasingly attracts international students, in particular from China’s middle-class market, this paper questions the direct ‘import’ of western CCI for Chinese students, in terms of both content relevance and programme development sustainability. This paper suggests that curriculum evolution should be viewed as key for UK higher education to retain market competitiveness, especially a pending ‘Brexit’.

This study aims to determine the development of creative industries, the usefulness of the implementation of entrepreneurship training, the factors that support and inhibit, and formulate a creative industry development strategy based on entrepreneurship training in an effort to develop local economic areas in the city of Parepare. This research is a type of evaluation research using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Parepare Town of South Sulawesi. The subjects of the study were the participants of entrepreneurship training in Kota Parepare, and the Department of Manpower of Parepare City as the manager and implementer of training through UPTD BLK Kota Parepare. Data collection techniques used are Document study, observation, and interview. Data analysis techniques include: (a) Data processing, which consists of categorization and data reduction, (b) data presentation, (c) data interpretation, and (d) drawing conclusions/verifications. The results show that (1) The development of creative industries through entrepreneurship training includes: Information and Communication Technology, Garment Apparel, Beauty, Building, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Refrigeration, Manufacturing Engineering, and Welding Technique; (2) The usefulness of the implementation of entrepreneurship training that can shorten the learning period, improve business performance, establish attitudes, help solve business operational problems, prepare entrepreneurs to acquire expertise in certain fields, and produce output that has the ability and knowledge that qualified (3) There are several factors that support and hinder the development of creative industries through entrepreneurship training in developing creative industries, both internal and external factors, and (4) development strategy based creative industry entrepreneurship in an effort to develop the local economy of recruitment and selection of trainees, selection of training instructors, the provision of facilities and infrastructure, curriculum development, and the provision of funds or training budgets.

The animation industry is a crucial part of cultural and creative industries and has formed a huge consumer market all over the world and even become a pillar industry in developed countries. However, in China, the animation industry is still in its infancy, and its development is relatively backward. The main reason is that there is no sustainable development model in the industry. Thus, how to carry out sustainable development has become an important research topic for the Chinese animation industry. This study probed into the challenges and problems faced by China′s animation industry, and based on Porter′s Diamond Model, analyzed the current situation of China′s animation industry from six aspects: production factors, demand conditions, industrial chain, enterprise strategy, cultural factors, and government policies, clarifies the key direction for industrial development, and puts forward relatively comprehensive reference strategies to promote the formation of a sustainable development model for the animation industry. The research shows that the sustainable development of the animation industry must be completed by integrating resources within the industry, improving the chain, upgrading the enterprises, technological innovations, cultural embedding, external personnel training, government support, legal protection, and other aspects.

The agglomeration of cultural and creative industries has developed into a remarkable trend under economic internationalization. In this paper, literature review and research status of cultural and creative industries are firstly conducted. The spatial distribution characteristics of cultural and creative industries in Zhejiang province are analyzed by using location entropy and data from 2012 to 2017. The conclusion shows that the cultural and creative industries in Zhejiang province present a spatial clustering trend, but different cities have different development levels. This paper constructs the indicator system of influencing factors and analyzes its influencing factors by means of grey correlation. It shows that economic factors have the greatest influence on the agglomeration of cultural and creative industries, followed by technological, resource and market factors. The development and agglomeration of the cultural and creative industry in Zhejiang province depends on the development of industry, theapplicationandmanagementofinformationtechnology and the lack of creative talents is the obstacle to its development. Therefore, education should be developed, mass innovation should be encouraged, and a good market environment should be created for the cultural and creative industry.
