Learning is an active process, and, as such, interactive lectures are considered as the educational best practice. This study investigated the efficacy of interactive lecturing in a module of eight respiratory physiology lectures in a second-year Physiology course with two distinct subcohorts: students with strong science backgrounds and those without. The comparison of student performance in the summative examinations of respiratory physiology allowed us to evaluate the efficacy of interactive lecturing for each subcohort. Formal teaching evaluations were used to gauge the students' perception of interactive lectures. To further validate our findings, we repeated the study in the following year. The introduction of interactive lecturing significantly improved learning outcomes, with this improvement being maintained for the period of this study. Furthermore, students with limited prior knowledge, who had typically performed very poorly in this module, achieved a similar learning outcome to those students with a good science background. From these summative results and the students' perceptions, we concluded that students that are alert, motivated and interested in the subject, and engaged in learning activities and that are being encouraged to think and receive constant feedback on their progress will become confident in their learning abilities and have improved learning outcomes.

Classroom action research was conducted to grade 6 students at SD Negeri 016 Kundur. The purpose of the study isto improve student learning outcomes with the subject of struggle values in the formulation of Pancasila. Efforts toimprove learning outcomes, researchers use role playing methods. After implemented the method of learningprocess has seen the spirit of students learn because the role playing method (role playing) students directly do thelearning. Improved learning outcomes began to change. Prasiklus is not complete as many as 10 people (41.67%),complete as many as 14 people (58.33%). In the first cycle, the result of study was increased by 7 people (29,83%)and complete 17 people (70,83%). In cycle II. All students have completed the learning process with a total of 24people (100%). So it can be concluded that the role playing method (role playing) can improve the learningoutcomes of Civics students class VI SD Negeri 016 Kundur.

This study aimed to describe the results of learning through the use of media folder. The subject of research grade II SDN 009 Tanjung Palas. Improved learning outcomes in terms of four categories of goods, namely absorption, the effectiveness of learning, mastery learning completeness students both individually and classical completeness and accuracy of the results of learning. The instrument used for data collection is an oral test and a written test in the form of worksheets performed after the learning process. Results Shows absorption learning outcomes on average 83% is considered very good, very effective learning effectiveness categorized with an average of 70. While the completeness of student learning outcomes Presented complete 100%. In addition, increase the thoroughness of students in each cycle, the first cycle (58.82%), the second cycle (70.59%), the third cycle (88.24%). The research conducted was classroom action research to improve the learning outcomes of students of class XI MIPA 6 Senior High School 2 Palembang. Improved learning outcomes are carried out by using the discovery learning model during the learning process. As for this research, using a subject consisting of 35 students. The subject used by researchers in this study is the formula of the sum and difference of sine, cosine, and tangent of two angles. In the first cycle consisted of 3 meetings and Cycle II consisted of 2 meetings. This study uses instruments in the form of test results of learning and observation. Tests of learning outcomes are used by researchers as a way to find out the achievements of students from each cycle and observations are used by researchers to collect data during the learning process takes place. Quantitative and descriptive data analysis was used in this study. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average value of students of class XI MIPA 6 on the first cycle test was 63.00 and increased on the second cycle test to 83.69. The results of this study indicate that learning using the discovery learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes, i.e. 74.28%  of students have achieved indicators of success in the second cycle of research.

Conventional method of teaching Bioreactor Design course are mostly conducted in a teacher-centred manner. This method is inefficient solution for education as compared to more active learning styles which is proven to be more effective in ensuring students to fully comprehend a particular subject. The work presents the use of various computational tools to support the implementation of coopera-tive learning (CL) methods in Analysis and Design of Bioreactor course. This subject is offered to 3rd year students of Chemical-Bioprocess Engineering pro-gram in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The CL method was implemented to im-prove student cognitive skills attainment in each of the course learning outcomes. Achievements of student cognitive skills were assessed quantitatively where else effectiveness of the CL method applied were evaluated qualitatively. Results showed that the student performance and attainment of their cognitive skills at thinking level of ‘application’ has improved at least by 30-40%. Reflection analy-sis from students indicated that the proposed student-centred teaching method managed to not only increase students understanding on the subject but also nurtured students creativity and enhances their computational skills.
