In the context of the rapid development of wireless communication and information technology, the network has greatly shortened the actual spatial distances around the world. Multimedia technology and wireless communication, as an important branch of information technology, can better connect people and the network, exploding very powerful energy in the field of education. This research analyzes the cultural communication function of wireless communication and multimedia network technology in university teaching, especially English teaching. At this stage, almost all universities in our country are using multimedia technology to assist teaching, and even many teachers believe that multimedia has become a necessary foundation for the in-depth development of the “teaching-learning” interaction in colleges and universities in the information age. The demand for English talents in the Chinese labor market is dominated by application-oriented talents, but the purpose of English teaching in many schools is still in the reality of traditional research-based teaching. It is concluded that the root of this contradiction lies in the disconnection between the cultivation of talents in universities and the needs of society. The experimental results show that if the advantages of wireless communication and multimedia network technology can be fully utilized, the teaching efficiency of cultural communication in college English teaching can be increased by 22%. This article also analyzes, discusses, and summarizes the methods and approaches of cultural dissemination to enrich academic research results.

With the rapid development of modern information technology, visual simulation technology is widely used popularized in the construction of college English. With the rapid development of social and economic globalization, China starts to pay more and more attention to college students’ English language education. At present, the rapid development of network technology in China has an obvious influence on People’s daily life, work and study, especially on China’s education cause. The multi-interactive teaching mode of college English takes students as the center and the task as the link, realizing the combination of classroom teaching and network-based autonomous learning in information technology environment. This teaching model is characterized by integrated teaching methods, open teaching environment and hierarchical teaching management compared with the traditional classroom teaching methods. This paper took the interactive teaching model of college English based on computer information technology as the research object and the "construction", "interaction" and "cooperation" as the core guiding ideology based on the learning theory of constructivism and communicative theory, guiding the design of listening, speaking and reading experiments in college English teaching under the multi-interactive teaching model. This paper first described the application and concept of multivariate interactive teaching mode, and then introduced the related learning theories. By selecting non-English major college students of 2015 from Hunan Normal University as the application object of multi-interactive teaching model, this paper validated the effectiveness of multi-interactive teaching model for college English teaching through detailed teaching experimental design and comparative analysis of teaching achievements. Under the background of the rapid development of information technology, the new multi-interactive teaching mode opens up the multi-dimensional and multi-form language learning process, which is of innovative and practical significance for the teaching of college English.

With the advent of the Internet age, network information technology is rapidly entering college English classes, which fundamentally changes the mode of college English teaching. The purpose of college English teaching is to improve students' English ability in comprehensive hearing, speech, reading, writing and other aspects, and the key measure to improve language skills is to create a good English interaction circumstances for students.
