This paper uses an improved multiorganizational particle population optimization algorithm to conduct an in-depth analysis and study of an online English teaching model and uses the altered model for practical applications. The model building elements are extracted from it for the initial construction of a blended learning model of English-speaking teaching in junior high school. The main purpose of the first round of action research is to test the rationality of each element of the model, the main purpose of the second round of action research is to refine the model links and improve the operability of the model, and the main purpose in the third round of action research is to test the perfected model and explore the model. The main purpose of the third round of action research is to test the refined model and explore the application suggestions of the model. After the three rounds of action research, we finally obtained a more mature blended learning model for teaching English as a foreign language in junior high school. Mainly through the comparison of the pre- and posttest scores of English speaking of the experimental subjects and the comparison of the pre- and posttest data of the relevant questionnaires, the following experimental conclusions were drawn: adopting the blended learning-based speaking teaching model can effectively improve students’ interest in learning English, their attitudes and their English speaking skills including pronunciation, phonetic intonation, conversational communication, and oral expression and can enhance students’ group cooperation and communication ability, independent learning ability, evaluation awareness, and ability. This single-guided learning mechanism can effectively avoid the shocks that are easily caused by the dual-guided role of traditional PSO. The dimensional learning strategy constructs a learning paradigm for each particle by learning from each dimension of the individual optimal position of the particle to the corresponding dimension of the group optimal position, respectively. Dimensional learning is formally integrated into the learning paradigm only if it can improve the fitness of the paradigm so that the dimensional learning strategy can avoid the phenomenon of degradation of the learning paradigm and the phenomenon of “two steps forward, one step back.” In the dimensional learning strategy, since each particle learns from best, although it has a strong exploitation capability, it may cause all particles to converge to best quickly, making the algorithm converge prematurely.

In the preliminary study, the researchers found that the average value of fluency in English speaking is 2.25. This is because of the teacher always uses monotonous, less enjoyable learning strategy and the teacher only focuses on completing the material so that the learning process can only transfer knowledge so that the level of mastery of the material is low which ultimately decreases student achievement. To overcome this problem, researchers propose a strategy in teaching speaking skill, namely role-playing learning strategy. This study is designed to improve fluency in English speaking by using role playing learning strategy. This study aims to explain how role-playing learning strategy can improve fluency in English speaking in the 4th semester, English Study Program, Business Administration Department, State Polytechnic of Madiun. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design which is collaborative in nature where researchers and teacher collaborate in carrying out this research. Researcher act as observer while English teacher become collaborator of researcher in implementing role playing learning strategy. This research was carried out in a cycle that refers to procedures for action research, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Each cycle in this study consisted of two meetings. The research data was collected through several instruments, namely evaluation of English speaking, questionnaires, and field notes. The subjects of this study were 4th semester of D3 Program students, English Study Program, Business Administration Department, State Polytechnic of Madiun. The results of the overall average score of fluency in English speaking in the first cycle of 2.44, in the second cycle of 2.89, and in the third cycle of 3.19. Classroom action research can be stopped in cycle III because it is in accordance with the average criteria of success is 3.01. The interesting of students towards the implementation of role-playing learning strategy shows that students are happy and interested in implementing role playing learning strategy.

The aims of the study to reveals in details process and result of improving English speaking ability using Mobile assisted Language Learning (MALL) learning model. This study is an action research at English Department Muhammdiyah University of Jakarta consists of 30 students as the participant. Data obtained from the result of English Speaking ability test. The results of the study showed that the learning process using Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) makes the students become more active in their speech; their participation level in learning interaction shows it. The result also presented that there is significantly improvement on the students’ English speaking ability using Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) from preliminary cycle to the third cycle phase in research process. The average score of the students at preliminary stage is only 42.8 then it increased in the first cycle to 53.2. While on the second cycle obtained an average score of 61.2 and increased in the third cycle to 80. So, it can be concluded that action research in improving English speaking ability using Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) significantly helps the students in improving their ability to speak English.

This research is to analyze the implementation of active learning strategy in improving students’ motivation in speaking English. Active learning strategy was intended to improve students’ motivation. The researcher undertakes in three procedures; trading place, question students have, and action learning. In this research, the researcher uses classroom action research in three cycles. The model used is Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The stages are four stages including planning, action, observation, and reflectionThe calculation of student’s mean score, the data of motivation improvement in every cycle;the pre-testis 54.65%, the cycle 1 is 82.55%, cycle 2 is 92.35 and cycle-3 is 98.60.Every cycle is done in three meetings. The test is given in four times; the first is pre-test, the second test is in the end of cycle 1, the third test is in the end of cycle 2, and the forth test is in the end of cycle 3. The result of research indicates the improvement of students’ speaking ability. In this case, quantitative data in every cycle describes the improvement. The pre test has average score 31, cycle 1 has average score 57.83, cycle 2 has average score 69.17, and cycle three has average score 95.34.Keywords: Motivation, speaking ability, active learning strategy.

The Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to invent teaching and learning strategy which fits the learners’ style and to solve the teachers’ problem in finding the appropriate technique in teaching. The researcher took SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Muncar Banyuwangi on 35 students of the tenth grade of AK 1 and was conducted in one cycle with the phases of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The researcher found that the implementation of Direct Practice with the Native Speaker could improve the students’ speaking skill. It was proved by the result of the students’ speaking score. The average classical score in preliminary study was 50. 00. They had improvement from the third meeting but did not all of students meet the criteria of success and were still below the KKM. In the fourth meeting was found that all of the students could reach criteria of success and KKM score as 70. 00. Direct Practice with the Native Speaker creates the teaching and learning process fun, and good atmosphere of competition among the students.

This research aimed to: (1) describe the increase of students’ activity in the skill-based process in science learning, (2) describe the increase of students’ learning achievement in the skill-based process in science learning. This classroom action research has been conducted in three cycles with 29 students of VIIA Class of Junior High School (SMP) Dharma Bakti, South Lampung. Every cycle consist of planning, action and observation, and reflection. The data were collected using multiple choice test for learning achievement and observation sheet for students’ activity. The results showed that process skill approach could increase students’ activity and learning achievement of science from cycle to cycle. The average students’ activity score from the first cycle to the third cycle were 62,1 (sufficient), 70,0 (sufficient), and 77,1 (active), respectively. The average students’ learning achievement from cycle I to cycle III were 62,1 (sufficient), 65,2 (sufficient), 69,7 (good), respectively. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses, (2) mendeskripsikan peningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMP Dharma Bakti Lampung Selatan yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan soal pilihan jamak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dari siklus ke siklus. Rata-rata nilai aktivitas siswa dari siklus I sampai siklus III secara berturut-turut adalah 62,1 (cukup aktif), 70,0 (cukup aktif), dan 77,1 (aktif). Adapun rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa dari siklus I sampai siklus III secara berturut-turut adalah 62,1 (cukup baik); 65,2 (cukup baik); dan 69,7 (baik).

This research aims at finding out whether Blended Learning method was able to improve the students’ achievement and motivation in learning Listening. This research used Action Research design. The subjects of the research were the third semester students of English Department, Faculty of Letters, University of Sawerigading Makassar. This research applied Classroom Action research which consisted of two cycles, each cycle comprised of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data-collecting methods were observation and test. The data were analyzed using descriptive comparative manner. The result of the research revealed that learning listening through blended learning method could improve the students’ achievement. The average score of the initial achievement was 42.07, while at the first cycle was 61.59, and finally, at the second cycle was 68.11. In addition, learning listening through Blended Learning method also increased the students’ learning motivation.

Abstract: The Using Inquiry Methods in Increasing Result of Mathematic Study in five grade of Islamic Junior High School. The purpose of this research were (1) to describe steps of inquiry method in increasing result of mathematic study in five grade of Elementary School, (2) identify constraints and solutions using inquiry methods in increasing result of mathematic study in five grade of state elementary school. This research is classroom action research (CAR) conducted in three cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data were analysis using Miles and Huberman interactive model consist of three components are: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that (1) the steps of inquiry method can be run apropriate to the scenario, (2) the using inquiry method can increasing result of mathematic study in five grade of Elementary School. Increasing result of mathematic study from pre-test were 40%, in the first cycle were 60%, in the second cycle were 73% and the third cycle increase until 80%

The learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the class is less activity of the students because the learning strategy is dominated by the teacher, and there is no varied learning strategy, then the choice that can be done to solve this problem is with the use of cooperative type jigsaw in learning subjects Islamic Religious Education as well as conducting classroom action research. This study aims to find out how the activities of teachers and students in learning subjects Islamic Religious Education (PAI) discussion of inheritance with the use of cooperative type jigsaw on twelve students, Natural Science State High School one Kutamakmur, and to find out how to improve learning outcomes. This research uses a qualitative approach with the class action research method (PTK) and using data collection instrument through observation, test, diary, documentation and analyzed by reducing data, describe and conclude. And the subject of the research is the teacher of Islamic Religious Education who teaches mawaris material through the cooperative strategy of jigsaw type and students of class XII IPA.1 SMA Negeri 1 Kutamakmur academic year 2016/2017 second semester of 25 students. The results showed an increase: (1) In the first cycle of teacher activity 52%, then increased to 70% in cycle II, and the third cycle increased to 84%, (2) Student activity in the first cycle was 47%, then increased in cycle II to 68%, and on the third cycle increased to 83%, (3) student learning outcomes in cycle I was 10 students completed (40%), then in cycle II increased 16 students complete (64%), and cycle III increased to all students complete (100%).

This study aims to create a learning program that can overcome students' difficulties in the matter of integers at the Wirautama Patrol Junior High School, Indramayu Regency. This research was conducted using Classroom Action Research using the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model. The object of this research is the students of class VII A SMP Wirautama Patrol Indramayu Regency, totaling 37 students. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself, while the data collection was obtained from: interviews, comprehension tests, observation sheets, lesson plans and daily journals. In this research, the first cycle is learning to overcome students' difficulties in determining the direction of the integer line, the second cycle is learning to overcome students' difficulties in multiplication and division of negative integers and the third cycle is learning to overcome students' difficulties in the properties of integer operations and mixed integer operations. The indicator of research success is DSK (Classical Absorption), which is a class that has completed its learning if 85% of students achieve an absorption capacity of at least 65% (Tarmilah, 2005:29). The results of the learning cycle I to cycle III obtained DSK 65%, thus learning to overcome students' difficulties in the matter of integers in class VII A SMP Wirautama Patrol Indramayu Regency is considered successful. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk membuat suatu program pembelajaran yang dapat mengatasi kesulitan-kesulitan siswa dalam materi bilangan bulat di SMP Wirautama Patrol Kabupaten Indramayu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom action research) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL). Yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Wirautama Patrol Kabupaten Indramayu yang berjumlah 37 orang siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri, adapun pengumpulan data diperoleh dari : wawancara, tes pemahaman, lembar observasi, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan jurnal harian. Dalam penelitian ini siklus I yaitu pembelajaran untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam menentukan arah garis bilangan bulat, siklus II yaitu pembelajaran untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam perkalian dan pembagian bilangan bulat negatif dan siklus III yaitu pembelajaran untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam sifat-sifat operasi bilangan bulat dan operasi hitung bilangan bulat campuran. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian adalah DSK (Daya Serap Klasikal), yaitu suatu kelas telah tuntas belajarnya apabila 85% siswa mencapai daya serap paling sedikit 65% (Tarmilah, 2005:29). Hasil pembelajaran siklus I sampai dengan siklus III diperoleh DSK 65%, dengan demikian pembelajaran untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam materi bilangan bulat di kelas VII A SMP Wirautama Patrol Kabupaten Indramayu dianggap sudah berhasil.
