This research is to analyze the implementation of active learning strategy in improving students’ motivation in speaking English. Active learning strategy was intended to improve students’ motivation. The researcher undertakes in three procedures; trading place, question students have, and action learning. In this research, the researcher uses classroom action research in three cycles. The model used is Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The stages are four stages including planning, action, observation, and reflectionThe calculation of student’s mean score, the data of motivation improvement in every cycle;the pre-testis 54.65%, the cycle 1 is 82.55%, cycle 2 is 92.35 and cycle-3 is 98.60.Every cycle is done in three meetings. The test is given in four times; the first is pre-test, the second test is in the end of cycle 1, the third test is in the end of cycle 2, and the forth test is in the end of cycle 3. The result of research indicates the improvement of students’ speaking ability. In this case, quantitative data in every cycle describes the improvement. The pre test has average score 31, cycle 1 has average score 57.83, cycle 2 has average score 69.17, and cycle three has average score 95.34.Keywords: Motivation, speaking ability, active learning strategy.

The objective of this research is to find the increasing of the process and the result student’sshort story writing through metacognitive strategy in language and Indonesia Literature StudyProgramme FKIP-PGRI University of Palembang. This research uses action research methodwhich is done through planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research wasconducted through three cycles, from the result of learning process is found that students havebeen able to make a planning, monitoring, evaluation and revising according to metacognitivestrategy cycle, during their time in writing short story task. This research find out that therehad been an increased from the short story writing result in every of its cycle. On the first cycle,there are 8 (eight) students who accomplished the task, with average score is in 64,16. On thesecond cycle, it showed a significant increased, there were 29 (twenty nine) students whoaccomplished and 9 (nine) students have not accomplished the task, with average score is ini72, 18. And the third cycle, there were 38 (thirty eight) students who accomplished the task inthe short story writing learning process with average score was in 77,05

The objective of the study is to improve vocabulary in children with special need. The researchers have chosen the object in the school because, the school has lack of learning media and teachers. This research used the "Poster" as a media, in addition the poster can make the students more interest to learn. The researchers using Poster media with a carton paper converted into a tree viewer and students are required to fill in a blank section of the tree shape based on a pre- existing question on the poster containing the Vocabulary subject Noun and Verb. Vocabulary with visuals so that they are easier to learn which tend to be limited by the ability they (deaf students) have. The researchers used Class room Action Research (CAR).The steps in action research (planning, action, observation, and reflection) are done in a cycle. This method is one of the active learning strategy by involving students to always study English learning especially The results of this research showed that the poster media can improve the vocabulary of the students and the students more interested to learn vocabulary.Keywords: Vocabulary Understanding, Deaf, poster Media

This study concerns on improving students’ achievement in writing procedure texts through word webbing technique. The research was conducted by using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population was the 2012-2013 nine grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The number of students was 36, consisting of 21 females and 15 males. The procedure of the research was administrated into two cycles where each cycle consisted of three meetings. Each meeting included four steps namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. There were two kinds of data collected during the study, qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was the writing of procedure texts test while the qualitative data were gathered by using interview, diary notes and observation sheet. Based on the data analysis, the mean of students’ score in Test I was 53,47, for the Test II was 63,05, and for the Test III was 75 The qualitative data showed that the students were interested in the applying of Word webbing Technique. The conclusion is that Word Webbing Technique in writing Procedure Texts improves the students’ achievement in writing procedure texts. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dua siklus yang terdiri dari: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pembelajaran akidah akhlak dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa untuk setiap indikator yang diteliti. Peningkatan aktivitas siswa yang dimaksud adalah terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Siswa aktif merespon pertanyaan guru, mengemukakan alasan, menjelaskan kepada teman, mempresentasikan hasil diskusi kelompok dan membuat kesimpulan Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Siswa, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Akidah Akhlak Abstract [Tittle: Improving Student’ Activity In Akidah Akhlak Course Through Problem Based Learning Approach]. This research was aimed to improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak through Problem Based Learning (PBL)at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi city.This was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research was the third year students of MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi that consisted of 32 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation sheet and field note. The data then was analyzed descriptively.The result of the research showed that the use of PBL approach could improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. After applying PBL approach, the students had a willingness to answer teacher’s questions, give opinions and plain them to the peers, present the result of the discussion and take conclusion. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Tarikh Islam Siswa KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri 1 menggunakan strategi pembelajaran every one is teacher here. Subjek penelitian adalah siswi KMI Gontor Putri kelas 2 H. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar Tarikh Islam siswa Kulliyyatu-l-Muallimat Al-Islamiyyah Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri Kampus 1 tahun ajaran 1440-1441 H. Ketuntasan belajar siswi pada siklus pertama sebesar 46,2%, meningkat pada siklus kedua menjadi 96,2%.     Abstract This study aims to determine the increase in student achievement of Tarikh Islam, students of KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri 1 using learning strategies every one is teacher here. The subject of the study was KMI Gontor for female students of Class 2 H. The study used a type of classroom action research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart models. The study was conducted in two cycles, and each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed that Everyone Is A Teacher Here learning strategy was effective in improving the student achievement of students Kulliyyatu-l-Muallimat Al-Islamiyyah Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri Campus 1 school year 1440-1441 H. Completion of student learning in the first cycle by 46.2 %, increased in the second cycle to 96.2%.

The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of introduction of geometry in the 5 to 6 year old children  through blocks playing activities. The subject of this research is children in grade B, RA Al-Watoniyah 16 Rawa Terate Cakung, East Jakarta. The method uses classroom action research. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approach according to Kemmis model which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The average score obtained in pre intervention is  35.90%. Based on these results, interventions must be taken through blocks playing activities. After doing intervention in cycle I, the results obtain an average score of 61.52%. Then intervention in cycle II obtains an average score of 80.97%. Based on the results of research that has been implemented, blocks playing activities can improve the ability children to introduction geometry effectively. Furthermore, this activity also can improve the moral, cognitive, social emotional, language and motor development.

This research is motivated by a problem found in class VII SLB Negeri 2 Padang in moderate retardation students in January 2019. Researchers found a student who could not wash their hands properly. This study aims to determine whether the training method using effective learning videos to improve the ability to wash hands. This study uses a class action research method consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the study in the initial conditions were 12.90%. After the first cycle, the results of the first meeting (22.58%), the second meeting (32.25%), the third meeting (38.70%) and the fourth meeting (48.38). The results of the second cycle of the first meeting (58.06%), the second meeting (67.74%), the third meeting (74.19%) and the fourth meeting (77.41%). These results indicate that the training method using video learning can improve the ability to wash hands for mentally retarded students in the moderate category. From these results it can be seen that the training method with learning videos can improve the ability to wash hands.

Mathematics learning for grade II of elementary students used to separate between learning and real life. This research is aimed to improve learning output of students by implementing realistic mathematics approach in mathematics learning. This is a class action research that consists of two cycles including four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subject of this research are 25 elementary students grade II SDN 11 Sungai Sirah Kecamatan Pariaman Timur Kota Pariaman. Data of research were obtained through observation, interview, and test. Obtained data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Learning output of students is improved in each cycle. In cycle I, average score of students’ learning output is 77.2. Meanwhile in cycle II, average score of students’ learning output is 88.2. Hence, it can be concluded that mathematics learning implementing realistic mathematics approach can improve the learning output of elementary students grade II.
