This research aimed to: (1) describe the increase of students’ activity in the skill-based process in science learning, (2) describe the increase of students’ learning achievement in the skill-based process in science learning. This classroom action research has been conducted in three cycles with 29 students of VIIA Class of Junior High School (SMP) Dharma Bakti, South Lampung. Every cycle consist of planning, action and observation, and reflection. The data were collected using multiple choice test for learning achievement and observation sheet for students’ activity. The results showed that process skill approach could increase students’ activity and learning achievement of science from cycle to cycle. The average students’ activity score from the first cycle to the third cycle were 62,1 (sufficient), 70,0 (sufficient), and 77,1 (active), respectively. The average students’ learning achievement from cycle I to cycle III were 62,1 (sufficient), 65,2 (sufficient), 69,7 (good), respectively. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses, (2) mendeskripsikan peningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMP Dharma Bakti Lampung Selatan yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan soal pilihan jamak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dari siklus ke siklus. Rata-rata nilai aktivitas siswa dari siklus I sampai siklus III secara berturut-turut adalah 62,1 (cukup aktif), 70,0 (cukup aktif), dan 77,1 (aktif). Adapun rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa dari siklus I sampai siklus III secara berturut-turut adalah 62,1 (cukup baik); 65,2 (cukup baik); dan 69,7 (baik).

ABSTRAK Masih kurang  minatnya siswa dalam belajar khususnya pelajaran matematika,  salah satu sebab adalah  metode yang digunakan oleh guru masih konvensional dan siswa bekerja secara individu, sehingga siswa yang kurang mampu kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dengan benar.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bilangan berpangkat dengan  model problem posing pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Batu.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain  Penelitian Tindakan Kelas  (Classroom Action Research),  pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan  kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang datanya tanpa menggunakan teknik statistik. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Berdasarkan data yang diperolah dari pelaksanaan tindakan mulai siklus 1 sampai dengan siklus 2 dan berdasarkan hasil observasi tiap-tiap siklus terjadi peningkatan prestasi yaitu siswa yang mendapat nilai kurang dari KKM dari 17 siswa menjadi 7 siswa, mengalami peningkatan siswa yang mendapat nilai memenuhi KKM dari 18 menjadi 27 siswa, dan rata-rata tes siswa dari  62,29 menjadi 71,76 mengalami kenaikan 2,47%, serta prosentase ketuntasa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 48,6% menjadi 79,4% meningkat 30,8%.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pendekatan model problem posing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada materi bilangan berpangkat. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan hasil belajar, Bilangan berpangkat, Problem Posing ABSTRACT The lack of student’s study interest especially on mathematics, one of the reason is the method is still conventional and students work individually, with the result that students harder to understanding the concept correctly. The purpose of this research is improving learning outcome on exponential numbers with problem posing model in 3rd years students on State Junior High School Batu. This research using Classroom Action Research design and qualitative approach, which is the research that not using statistics technique. This Classroom Action Research executed in two cycle. Every cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on data that obtained from the 1st cycle until 2nd cycle and based on observation from every cycle there is an achievement increase that is students that having under the minimum learning mastery standard from the initial is 17 students increase to 7 students, then there is increase the numbers of students that having on the minimum learning mastery standard from 18 to 27 students, and the average of students’ test from 62,29 to 71,76 (increasing 2,47%), so the percentage of learning mastery increased from 48,6% to 79,4% increase for about 30,8%. This shows that Problem Posing approach can increasing student’s study result especially on exponential numbers subject. Keyword: Increase of study result, Exponential numbers, Problem Posing

In order to survive and improve self quality in higher levels of education and work, generic science skills are needed. Generic science skill is the skill that can be grown from science learning as a provision to pursue careers in a broader field. In this day and age, many things can be done by using devices, including physics learning. This study aims to find out the differences of generic science skills improvement between a class that apply solar system learning with a scientific approach assisted by Solar System Scope with a class that do not use Solar System Scope. The method used in this study was quasi-experiment with the control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 31 experimental class students and 31 control class students in the junior high school in Bandung. Both classes were given the multiple choice test. The results of data analysis showed an improvement in both classes with N-gain 45.9% in the experimental class and 22.8% in the control class. The conclusion of this study can be showed by Mann Whitney hypothesis test which produces z = -3.60. It shows that there is a significant differences of generic science skills improvement between both classes after the implementation of solar system learning assisted by Solar System Scope.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika materi irisan dan gabungan dua himpunan dengan menerapkan Portal Rumah Belajar pada Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2012 - 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 langlah yaitu : (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi.Hasil penelitian Penggunaan Portal Rumah Belajar pada siswa Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya, terbukti meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, sebelum tindakan siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 22 siswa atau 73,3 %, pada Siklus I siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 23 siswa atau 76,7 %. sedangkan pada Siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 28 siswa atau 93,3 %. Dengan demikian kualitas pembelajaran dari sebelum tindakan sampai dengan Siklus II terjadi peningkatan. Saran dalam PTK ini adalah: Guru harus memotivasi siswa untuk belajar secara inovatif mempergunakan media pembelajaran. Guru hendaknya memiliki paradigma bahwa guru bukan satu-satunya sumber belajar. Pembelajaran Matematika hendaknya disampaikan dengan menggunakan media yang mampu menyenangkan siswa dan mampu membuat siswa aktif. That is why teacher must provide approprite learning medium to ease the students to learn math. The aim of this study was to increase students’ mathematic learning achievement on intersection set and union set by applying the Portal Rumah Belajar for Seventh Grade A of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya year 2012 - 2013. The design of the study was Classroom Action Research. In this study two cycles were conducted, and each of which consisted of 4 steps, namely: (1) plan, (2) act, (3) observe, and (4) reflect. The use of Portal Rumah Belajar could increase the achievement of seventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya. The number of student passing the competency in the pre-action was 22 students or 73.3%, in the cycle was 23 students or 76.7%, and in the cycle II were 28 students or 93.3%. Thus the quality of learning increased between pre-action and the second cycle. Recommendation from this classroom action research was: teacher should motivate students to learn innovatively by using instructional media. Teachers should have a paradigm that teacher was not the only source of learning. Learning math should be submitted using the media to please students and be able to keep students active. This research aimed (1) to explain the learning process in writing short stories using the Learning-Based Project Methode by Class VIII at Lau State Junior High School, Maros Regency; (2) to explain the learning tesult of the short stories after the implementation of the model of the Learning-Based Project Methode by Class VIII at Lau State Junior High School, Maros Regency.The research type used was the Classroom Action Research, know as Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) or the Classroom Action Research. This Classroom Action Research implemented several cyrcle in its implementation.The research results indicated that there had been inceases of the process and the learning achievement of the students. Meanwhile, the learning result of the control class showed a difference. Cycle I reached the mean result of 70,86 and the cycle II reached the mean value of 72,11. However, such difference did not show any increase in the learning result. Both cycle could be categorized as adequate. The learning achievement of the experiment class showed a difference which was significant enough. Cycle I reached the mean value of 79,76 and could be categorized as adequate, while cycle II reached the mean value of 84,79 which was categorized as good. This revealed the learning increase which was significant enough.

Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia materi memahami iklan baris pada siswa kelas IX D SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 melalui penerapan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 (dua) siklus, dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo dengan subjek penelitian seluruh siswa kelas IX D SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018  yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan 3 (tiga) tahapan meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hipotesis menyatakan diduga melalui penerapan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia materi memahami iklan baris pada siswa kelas IX D SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Dari data empirik menyatakan melalui penerapan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia materi memahami iklan dari kondisi awal nilai rata-rata 70 dengan ketuntasan 54,54% ke kondisi akhir pada siklus II nilai rata-rata 85 dengan ketuntasan 86, 36% pada siswa kelas IX D SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Abstrak Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar IPA melalui metode eksperimen pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Bambanglipuro.Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan kelas yang bersifat kolaboratif, Disain penelitian yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian tindakan ini adalah model kemmis yang dikembangkan oleh Stephen Kemmis dan Robbin Mc. Taggart yang dalam pelaksanaannya terdiri dari  2 siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan.Pada tiap tiap siklus meliputi tahap perencaaan,tindakan,observasi dan refleksi.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisa deskriptif kualitatif untuk keaktifan siswa sedangkan  data ketuntasan dan prestasi siswa dengan deskriptif kuantitatif.Berasarkan hasil penelitian ,penggunaan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan pestasi belajar IPA ,hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan keaktifan siswa dari  53.12% pada siklus 1 meningkat menjadi 71.89 % pada siklus 2, nilai Ketuntasan klasikal dari 56% pada siklus 1 menjadi 75% pada siklus 2,nilai rata-rata individual dari 61.25 pada siklus1 menjadi 69 pada siklus 2. Berdasar hasil penelitian disarankan bagi guru hendaknya menerapkan metode eksperimen agar siswa dapat belajar dengan aktif serta prestasi belajarnya dapat meningkat.Kata kunci:Metode eksperimen , prestasi belajar,IPAThe research aims to determine the improvement of science learning achievement through the experimental method of the students from class 8 of Junior High School of Muhammadiyah 2 Bambanglipuro. This research is a collaborative classroom action research. The research design used in this action research is the Kemmis model developed by Stephen Kemmis and Robbin McTaggart in which its implementation consists of two cycles, each cycle consists of two meetings. In each cycle includes the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis for student’s activity while data on student completeness and achievement uses quantitative descriptive. Based on the result of the research, the use of experimental method can improve the science learning achievement, this is evidenced by the increase of student activity from 53.12%, in the first cycle, to 73.89% in the second cycle, classical completeness value from 56%, in the first cycle, to 75%, in the second cycle, the individual mean values from 61.25, in the first cycle, to 69, in the second cycle. Based on the result of the research, teachers are suggested to apply the experimental method so that students can learn actively and they can improve their learning achievement. Keywords: Experimental method, learning achievement,Sains

Issues to be discussed include how to improve science learning achievement of material structureand function of plant parts in the fourth grade students of SDN Babadan Bonang District of Demakusing STAD method with the application of video media. The subjects were fourth grade students ofSDN Babadan Bonang District of Demak district by the number of students 23 students. This studyuses classroom action research design with two cycles. Each cycle consists of action planning,action, observation, and reflection. Results of preliminary tests before (prasiklus) the averagevalue reached 59.57. This value is still less so held the first cycle measures the average valueobtained was 68.70 dnn class has increased very significantly in the second cycle of 80.00

Scientific literacy is the ability which must be owned by the students to analyze and apply the concept of science in solving daily life problem. This research aims to know the correlation between scientific literacy and science learning achievement at State Junior High Schools. This research used a quantitative approach with correlational type. The population of this research were 428 grade IX students at State Junior High Schools within the District of Jaluko Muaro Jambi. The samples was 138 students. The technique of selecting samples was random sampling. The instruments used were the test of science literacy and the test of science learning achievement. Hypothesis test was conducted by using rank spearman correlation test with the assistance of SPSS 21. The results show the average score of scientific literacy is 33.7 (medium category) and the average score of science learning achievement is 21.5 (very low category). The result of the correlation test obtains Sig value 0.00 then H<sub>o</sub> is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between scientific literacy and science learning achievement at State Junior High School within Muaro Jambi District. Science learning is expected to develop students’ science literacy so that it can improve science learning achievement.

This research aimed to increase students’ response towards science learning and science learning outcome in sport class using animation learning media. Through this research, it was expected that students’ response during teaching and learning activities would increased and students’ will be interested in doing these activities so that it will increase their science learning outcome. This research was three cycles-class action research in which every cycles consists of four stages. Research subjects was 36, 8th grader students (sports class) in one of junior high school in Bogor. Research instruments were students’ responsiveness evaluation sheet, learning activities observation sheet, and learning results instrument (postest question). The collected data were analyzed its average. In first cycle, learning outcome was 42% whereas students’ responsiveness was 56% (low). In cycle 2, learning outcome and students’ responsiveness were increased to 72% and 68%, respectively. In cycle 3, clasical completedness of 88% for learning outcome and 93% for students’ responsiveness (beyond clasical completedness standard) were achieved. Results suggested that animation learning media may increased students’ responsiveness and learning outcome of science subjects in sports class.Keywords: students’ responsiveness, science learning outcome, sport class, animation learning media.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya tanggap siswa dan hasil belajar IPA di kelas khusus olah raga dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran animasi. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan bahwa tanggapan siswa selama Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar akan meningkat dan kegiatan belajar IPA menjadi menyenangkan sehingga akhirnya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap. Subjek penelitian adalah 36 siswa kelas VIII (kelas khusus olahraga) di salah satu SMP Negeri di Bogor. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi daya tanggap siswa selama KBM, lembar observasi kegiatan pembelajaran, dan instrumen hasil belajar (soal postes). Data yang dihasilkan kemudian dianalisis nilai rata-ratanya. Pada siklus pertama hasil belajar mencapai 42% dan daya tanggap siswa terhadap aktivitas guru dalam KBM hanya 56% (kurang). Pada siklus 2 hasil belajar mencapai 72% dan daya tanggap siswa terhadap aktivitas guru dalam KBM naik menjadi 68%. Pada siklus 3 hasil belajar IPA kelas khusus olahraga akhirnya mencapai ketuntasan klasikal 88% dan daya tanggap terhadap aktivitas guru dalam KBM mencapai 93% (melampaui standar ketuntasan klasikal). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa  media pembelajaran animasi dapat meningkatkan daya tanggap dan hasil belajar IPA kelas khusus olahraga.Kata kunci: daya tanggap siswa, Hasil belajar IPA, Kelas Khusus Olah Raga, Media Pembelajaran Animasi.

Abstract: The Using Inquiry Methods in Increasing Result of Mathematic Study in five grade of Islamic Junior High School. The purpose of this research were (1) to describe steps of inquiry method in increasing result of mathematic study in five grade of Elementary School, (2) identify constraints and solutions using inquiry methods in increasing result of mathematic study in five grade of state elementary school. This research is classroom action research (CAR) conducted in three cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data were analysis using Miles and Huberman interactive model consist of three components are: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that (1) the steps of inquiry method can be run apropriate to the scenario, (2) the using inquiry method can increasing result of mathematic study in five grade of Elementary School. Increasing result of mathematic study from pre-test were 40%, in the first cycle were 60%, in the second cycle were 73% and the third cycle increase until 80%
