The use of information technology in education has the potential to have positive outcomes in the face of globalization. This study aimed to identify various needs in order to integrate technology into learning. The study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method to senior high schools. The questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument which was distributed to a research sample of 60 students who were randomly selected. The results revealed that students' attitudes toward the integration of technology into the learning process are inversely proportional to their use of learning media, which is still limited to the printed module. Students would like to create interactive multimedia as a medium for learning craftsmanship and entrepreneurship, based on the needs of students who are technologically literate and efforts to optimize the use of facilities that available at school.

The development of technology in education greatly influences learning strategies. Thus, teachers must adapt and present interesting and technology-based learning, such as e-comics. Therefore, the teacher must see in advance the extent to which students will accept e-comics for use in learning mathematics. This research aimed to determine students' perceptions of the use of e-comics as a media in mathematics learning. This research implemented a quantitative approach with a survey method. The samples were 124 students of Junior High Schools (SMP / MTs) in Aceh. The research data were obtained from questionnaires filled by students which were collected through the TAM (Technology Acceptance Models) framework which was distributed online. The results showed that students used e-comic as a learning media influenced by their perceived benefits and attitudes towards the use of e-comic. The perceived benefits of students' attitudes have a significant role in their behavioral intention to use e-comic in learning mathematics. This research implies that e-comics has the potential to be used as a media in mathematics learning, especially on material that is considered difficult so that it can attract students' attention.

ABSTRACTNowadays it is necessary to reevaluate consumer behavior and consumption modes, as seeking to contribute to a more balanced world, with less waste and environmental impact, there is a greater awareness of society about what is consumed. In this sense, this study aims to analyze the sustainable consumption behavior of academics in Administration courses in Brazil and Spain, through comparative research. For this, the survey method was used, with a sample characterized as non-probabilistic and for accessibility through the application of a questionnaire, which obtained the return of 289 respondents. The data collection instrument was adapted from the study developed by Biswas and Roy (2015), which addresses the theory of consumption values, composed of functional value, social value, conditional value, environmental value, and knowledge value. The results obtained reveal that, for both Brazilian and Spanish academics, the conditional value and environmental value constructs had the highest averages, while the social value construct had a low average. It was also noted that, on the one hand, Brazilian students are more likely to purchase sustainable products at the suggestion of their social groups and that they are more concerned that the scarcity of natural resources threatens the future of later generations. On the other hand, Spanish students are more willing to buy products from companies that invest in environmental issues.

The cultural shift in the era of globalization has greatly influenced the Balinese culture which is deeply ingrained for the Balinese. Therefore, innovative learning media is needed as an effort to prevent this cultural shift. This study aims to develop an interactive multimedia hybrid learning model in Balinese language subjects for seventh-grade junior high school students. Interactive learning multimedia developed using the Articulate Storyline 3 application because this application has features that are easy to use. This interactive multimedia development uses the ADDIE development model which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results of the validity of interactive multimedia development will be presented in five main points which include: subject matter experts, learning design experts, learning media experts, individual trials, and small group trials. The subjects of this study included experts, namely 1 subject matter expert, 1 learning design expert, 1 learning media expert, 3 individual test subjects, and 9 small group trial subjects. The methods used in collecting data are observation methods, interview methods, and questionnaire methods. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The data collection instrument in this study was using a questionnaire. The results of the calculation of the value of the experts (subject experts, instructional design, instructional media), individual trials, and small group trials get very good qualifications. Based on these qualifications, it can be concluded that the interactive multimedia hybrid learning model in Balinese class VII subjects is feasible to be applied to support the learning process.

Abstract: When faced with privatization by the Ontario government, the public educational broadcaster TVOntario took a pro-active stance in the face of the neo-liberal ideology of reduced public expenditure and institutional restructuring. TVO won short-term salvation by embracing market model methods, but in so doing it may have lost its niche as a public educational broadcaster. It now faces two major policy challenges. It must balance its general-audience broadcast arm with its newly refocused educational arm and it must negotiate possible political interference from the imperative to connect the government's newly revised school curricula to its new technology-in-education arm. This paper also situates the TVO example as a rejection of the privatization agenda of the Government of Ontario. Finally, this paper uses the TVO example to raise questions about hybrid models of broadcasting.
