This study aims to analyze the differences in scientific attitudes of students using inquiry training learning models with direct instruction learning models. This research is a quasi-experimental study. In this study there are two classes that are used as an experimental class and a control class, the experimental class is a class that is treated with learning with inquiry training models, while the control class is a class using the direct instruction learning model. The instrument used consisted of a questionnaire to measure students' scientific attitudes in the posttest, as well as an observation sheet. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the scientific attitude of learning in the experimental class is 75.01 with a standard deviation of 7.373, while in the control class is 71.60 with a standard deviation of 7.935. The results of this research suggest that inquiry training learning model is a solution and an alternative choice for teachers in improving students' scientific attitudes. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan sikap ilmiah siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training dengan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua kelas yang digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, kelas eksperimen merupakan kelas yang diberi perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model inquiry training, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah kelas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari berupa angket untuk mengukur sikap ilmiah siswa dalam posttest, serta lembar observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai sikap ilmiah belajar pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,01 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 7,373, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 71,60 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 7,935. Hasil penelitan ini menyarankan bahwa model pembelajaran inquiry training merupakan solusi dan alternatif pilihan guru dalam meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa. The purposes of the research are: to determine differences in the physics skills of students with learning model Cooperative Group Investigation using concept maps and Direct Instruction teaching model, to determine differences in the physical skills of students who have high Kinesthetic Learning Styles and Learning Styles low, to determine the interaction between Models of Learning and Kinesthetic Learning Styles toward physical process skills of students. The sample in this study conducted in a cluster random sampling of two classes, where the first class as a class experiment applied learning models Cooperative Group Investigation using Concept Maps as a class and the second class of controls implemented Direct Instruction model. The instrument used in this study is physics instrument science process skills in narrative form as many as 13 questions and instrument kinesthetic learning style questionnaire that has been declared valid and reliable. The results were found: there are differences in physical science process skills students are taught by Cooperative Group Investigation learning model using Concept Maps and Direct Instruction teaching model. There are differences in physical science process skills of students who have kinesthetic learning styles and students who have low kinesthetic learning style. Interaction between learning models Cooperative Group Investigation using Concept Maps and kinesthetic learning styles in influencing the physical science process skills of students.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta bahwa kemampuan pemahaman dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan matematika tingkat tinggi yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap peserta didik. Selain itu kemampuan pemahaman dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis jarang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat menjadi alternatif bagi pembelajaran matematika dan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematis adalah model pembelajaran IMPROVE. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan i-spring suite 8 pada model pembelajaran IMPROVE untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen karena penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol sebagai subyek penelitian. Cara pengambilan subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian dipilih sebanyak dua kelas dari keseluruhan peserta didik kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah Banyuresmi tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Dari hasil penelitian dan perhitungan statistik diperoleh kesimpulan: 1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik yang dalam pembelajarannya menggunakan i-spring suite 8 pada model pembelajaran IMPROVE; 2) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik yang dalam pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional/direct instruction; 3) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik yang dalam pembelajarannya menggunakan i-spring suite 8 pada model pembelajaran IMPROVE dibandingkan dengan peserta didik yang dalam pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional/direct instruction; 4) Tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik yang dalam pembelajarannya menggunakan i-spring suite 8 pada model pembelajaran IMPROVE dan yang menggunakan model konvensional/direct instruction.Kata kunci: Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, Model IMPROVEABSTRACT This research is motivated by the fact that the ability to understand and the ability to solve mathematical problems is one of the high-level mathematical abilities that must be possessed by every student. This study aims to determine the application of ispring suite 8 on the IMPROVE learning model to improve students' mathematical understanding and problem solving abilities. The research method used is quasi-experimental because this study uses one experimental class and one control class as research subjects. The method of taking the research subject used was purposive sampling. The research subjects were selected as many as two classes from all grade XI students of SMA Muhammadiyah Banyuresmi in the 2019/2020 academic year. From the results of research and statistical calculations conclusions: 1) There is an increase in the ability to understand and solve mathematical problems of students who in learning use the i-spring suite 8 on the IMPROVE learning model; 2) There is an increase in the ability of understanding and solving mathematical problems of students who in learning use conventional learning models / direct instruction; 3) There is an increase in students' mathematical understanding and problem solving abilities in learning using i-spring suite 8 in the IMPROVE learning model compared to students in learning using conventional learning models / direct instruction; 4) There is no difference in the ability to understand and solve mathematical problems of students who in learning use the i-spring suite 8 on the IMPROVE learning model and who use the conventional model / direct instruction.Keywords: Mathematical Understanding Ability, Mathematical Problem Solving Ability, IMPROVE Model

<p>The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of learning models to student achievement. Learning models compared between NHT-CTL, NHT and direct instruction. Method of research used quasi experimental with the factorial design of 3x1. Population of this research was all students class VIII in SMP Negeri at Madiun City. The sampling technique using a stratified cluster random sampling. Samples in this research were 266 students with 91 students as experimental class I, 88 students as experimental class II and 87 students as control class. Data collection methods used documentation and test.Hypothesis testing was performed using one-way analysis of variance with unequal cells. Based on the results of hypothesis testwere concluded that NHT-CTL learning model gave better achievement than NHT learning model and direct instruction, while NHT learning model and direct instruction gave the same achievement. </p>

 AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Square dan Think Pair Share terhadap hasil belajar siswa, (2) hasil belajar yang lebih baik antara model pembelajaran Think Pair Square  atau  Think Pair Share, (3) motivasi belajar siswa, (4) respon siswa.Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Post Test Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X1 dengan model Think Pair Square, kelas X3 dengan model Think Pair Share dan X5 dengan model Direct Instruction.Data hasil belajar dianalisis melalui uji prasyarat dengan hasil ketiga kelompok berdistribusi normal dan homogen serta uji hipotesis menggunakan Anova Satu Jalur dengan hasil terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Square, Think Pair Share dan Direct Instruction. Kemudian uji lanjut t-Scheffe dengan hasil terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Square, Think Pair Share dan Direct Instruction. Dilihat dari rata-rata hasil belajar maka disimpulkan model Think Pair Square lebih baik dengan hasil belajar lebih tinggi. Hasil analisis angket Think Pair Square diketahui respon sangat positif dan tingkat motivasi belajar sangat tinggi, Think Pair Share diketahui respon positif dan tingkat motivasi belajar sangat tinggi. Kata kunci:  Think Pair Square, Think Pair Share, Direct Instruction, hasil belajar, motivasi belajar, dan respon siswa. AbstractThe purpose of this study were to determine (1) the significant influence of the application of think pair square and think pair share learning model on student’s learning achievement, (2) better learning achievement between think pair square and think pair share learning model, (3) student’s motivation, (4) the student’s responses.The research was a quasi-experimental design experiment with post test only control group design. The population of study was all the students in grade X. The sample were as X1 class with the application of Think Pair Square learning model, X3 class with the application of Think Pair Share learning model, and X5 class with the application of Direct Instruction learning model.The data was collected by cognitive and psychomotor tests. The student’s learning achievement were analyzed by the prerequisite test with the results of the three groups at normal distribution and homogenous, and the hypothesis tested by One Way Anova which means there is a significant effect on the application of think pair square, think pair share, and direct instruction learning models. Then it was conducted a further test t-Scheffe with the results there are differences in the learning achievement between think pair square, think pair share, and direct instruction learning models. According to the average result we made a conclusion that Think Pair Square was better learning models with higher student’s learning achievement. The questionnaires results shows that Think Pair Square was very high positiveresponse and very high learning motivation, Think Pair Share was high positive response and very high learning motivation. Keywords :   Think Pair Square, Think Pair Share, Direct Instruction, learning achievement, learning motivation, and student response.

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat efektivitas dari beberapa model pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika siswa SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian meta-analisis yang menggambarkan effect size dari penelitian-penelitian pendidikan mengenai pengaruh model-model pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa SMA. Model pembelajaran yang di bandingkan dalam penelitian meta-analisis ini adalah model pembelajaran Discovery Learning, Inkuiri, Kooperatif, Direct Instruction, dan Problem Based Learning. Model pembelajaran yang memiliki efektivitas tertinggi adalah model pembelajaran Langsung (Direct Instruction) dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1.43 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Model pembelajaran lain yang juga memiliki nilai rata-rata effect size yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi adalah model pembelajaran Inkuiri dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1.39, model pembelajaran Kooperatif dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1.11, model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 0.96, serta model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 0.92. Kata kunci: Meta-Analisis; Discovery Learning; Inkuiri; Kooperatif; Direct Instruction; Problem Based Learning; Pemahaman Konsep; Fisika ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of several learning models in improving the understanding of physics concepts for high school students. This research is a meta-analysis that describes the effect size of educational studies regarding the influence of learning models on the understanding of physics concepts for high school students. The learning models compared in this meta-analysis are the Discovery Learning, Inquiry, Cooperative, Direct Instruction, and Problem Based Learning learning models. The learning model that has the highest effectiveness is the Direct Instruction model with an average effect size value of 1.43 which is included in the high category. Abstract. This study aims: (1) To improve the learning outcomes of social studies material through direct instruction learning models with a scientific approach, class VII4 students of SMPN 1 Tanete Rilau, Barru Regency. (2) To find out the percentage of completeness in learning social studies material, class VII4 students of SMPN 1 Tanete Rilau, Barru district. (3) To determine changes in the teacher's ability to manage and control direct instruction learning models with the scientific approach. (4) To find out the change in activity students carry out direct instruction learning models with the scientific approach. This research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages of activities which include: (a) Stage of planning (planning), (b) stages of implementation of actions (acting), (c) stages of observation (observing) and (d) reflection stage (reflecting). The subjects of this study were 31 female respondents of all types. Qualitative data on student activity and teacher ability, while quantitative data on learning outcomes per cycle. The results of the study show that: (1) the learning outcomes of the IPS material, the difference in average increases by 12.26, increases in the category of less than good from cycle two to cycle three. (2) The percentage of completeness in studying social studies material reached 90.32% in the third cycle. (3) Changes in the ability of teachers, increasing the score of the percentage difference of 20%, increasing the category enough to be good. (4) Changes in the activity of students increased by a score of 10% difference in percentage, an increase in the category to be good enough

This purpose of this study are to find out to determine the mathematical problem solving abilities of students using the Team Asissted Individualization learning models; mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use the Direct Instruction learning models; and to find out the better mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use the Team Asissted Individualization learning models with Direct Instruction. This research was conducted by experimental method, using cluster random sampling technique, and after drawing, Class VIII B and Class VIII D were selected as samples. Class VIII D was used as the experimental class I, where the learning used the Learning Team Team Individualization model and class VIII D was used as the experimental class II, where the learning used the Direct Instruction learning model. While the data analysis technique used in this study is the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use The Team Asissted Individualization learning models are better than Direct Instruction Model.

This study aimed to determine: (1) Is there a difference in student's learning outcomes with the application of learning models Investigation Group and Direct Instruction teaching model. (2) Is there a difference in students' motivation with the application of learning models Investigation Group and Direct Instruction teaching model, (3) Is there an interaction between learning models Investigation Group and Direct Instruction to improve students' motivation in learning outcomes Physics. This research is a quasi experimental. The study population was a student of class XII Tanjung Balai MAN. Random sample selection is done by randomizing the class. The instrument used consisted of: (1) achievement test (2) students' motivation questionnaire. The tests are used to obtain the data is shaped essay. The data in this study were analyzed using ANOVA analysis of two paths. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in learning outcomes between students who used the physics model of Group Investigation learning compared with students who used the Direct Instruction teaching model. (2) There was a difference in student's learning outcomes that had a low learning motivation and high motivation to learn both in the classroom and in the classroom Investigation Group Direct Instruction. (3) There was interaction between learning models Instruction Direct Group Investigation and motivation to learn in improving learning outcomes Physics.
