The train sometimes needs to brake frequently on the turnout, although the braking force does not exceed the limit resistance of fastener, cumulative displacement of rail occurs because of the long-term effect of the train brakes, thus, the relationship between the cumulative displacement of rail and the number of train braking actions should be explored. Aiming at the spring bar type III fastener, a 1:1 physical indoor simulation test was carried out, and an electromagnetic relay device was used to simulate the train load, force, and displacement sensors for data collection. Then a single load no more than the maximum resistance of fastener was applied to the rail end to explore the relationship between the number of loads and the rail cumulative deformation. The rail longitudinal cumulative displacement changes linearly in positive correlation with the number of load actions, and increases faster when the number of load actions is small. As the number of repeated loads increases, the above-mentioned relationship approximately and credibly obeys the power function distribution. Repeatedly applying load no more than the maximum longitudinal resistance of fastener to the rail, the existence of the rail cumulative displacement caused by frequent train braking can be demonstrated, and the relationship curve between the rail displacement and the number of loads can be obtained. Applying the fitting formula, the rail displacement after a specific number of loading times can be attained, and then referring to specific codes, we can determine whether it will exceed the safety limit.

Physiological changes brought about by a person’s aging process are known to negatively affect elite sports performance, but this may be delayed by skill mastery brought about by continued training.  The intersection of these two separate processes causes a potential ‘peak performance window’ in many sports.  Within MMA it has been shown that older competitors are more likely to lose individual bouts, especially due to strikes, and when they win it is most likely to be due to a decision.  It has not been determined whether age has a long-term effect on success in MMA.  This study divided the top 100 competitors in each MMA weight division into 5 ranking groups (RG) and used Bayesian ANOVA (BF10), 95% credible interval plots and Bayesian Kendall’s Tau (BF10) to determine if competitor rankings are affected by their age, and if each division displays a different age profile.  The results found that whilst there is a general pattern of older participants being ranked higher, middleweight was the only division where this was statistically relevant.  It was found, however, that the heavier the mass limit of the division, the older the participants are across each RG.  These results suggest that skill mastery may be of more short-term importance to successful performance in MMA than physiological ability, particularly in the heavier divisions, but physiological decrements effect lighter competitors earlier in their chronological age.  This is potentially due to differing performance requirements between the different divisions.

Background. ICD implantation for primary prevention of sudden death in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy and left ventricular dysfunction is well established. However debate exists between the relationship between ischemia and the proarrhythmic state. Persistent ischemia may counter antiarrhythmic (AA) drug and/or device efficacy. Furthermore, the extent to which revascularization mitigates this influence of ischemia on efficacy is unknown. Methods . 704 patients enrolled in the MUSTT trial were studied. Ischemia was determined by the presence of angina within 6 weeks of enrollment and ≥ 2 reversible thallium defects. Revascularization was characterized as CABG or PTCA within 1 year of enrollment or the use of thrombolytics with the sentinal myocardial infarction (MI). We compared groups who were randomized to background medical treatment (BG Rx) verses those who were randomized to AA drug therapy in addition to EP testing (EP AARx). Results . 507 (81%) patients had ≤2 vessel CAD, whereas the remaining 19% had 3 vessel disease. 268 patients reported angina within 6 weeks of study enrollment. Thallium imaging revealed 0–1 defects in 458 (65%) and ≥2 in another 246 (35%). Those with ≥ 2 defects on Thallium and angina within 6 weeks of device implant had a significantly lower 5-year freedom from mortality in the EP AARx and BG Rx cohorts (Table ). Patients with EP AARx had an 8% lower mortality than those with BG Rx therapy alone if they received thrombolytics. However, if they did not receive thrombolytics, their mortality rate was 5% higher than the BG Rx group. Conclusion . Outcomes are worse in patients on antiarrhythmic therapy with ischemic factors compared to those on background therapy alone, particularly in the setting of recent angina. A proarrhythmic effect from antiarrhythmic drug therapy in patients with ischemia may underlie the higher mortality. ICD therapy mitigates the negative long-term effect of ischemia on mortality in those treated with AA therapy. Five Year Freedom from Mortality

Attachmentis the formation process of the emotional and stable relationship between a mother and her child. This emotional relationship starts to grow since the first days of the child’s life. The healthy attachment of the child and his/her mother creates the most important bond in a way that the child can be safe, courageous and persistent in his /her behaviors. This study is supported by this kind of perception and it is conducted with children of the age 5-6. There is also presented information, quotes, researches and ideas from education and psychological field for this study. There also presented several behaviors with concrete facts, data, and different experiences from the research who involved a group of children of this age. The aim of this study consists in the fact which affects the child with his/her mother in his psychological formation and his exploratory behavior. The experiment through games was another way for the data collection of the exploratory behaviors of these children. After the collection of these data, their process was elaborated in order to have concrete conclusions for the study. Consequently, these data showed that the healthy attachment between a mother and her child affects positively in his/her social and psycho emotional formation. The relationship between a mother and her child plays a significant role in the multidimensional process of his/her formation. The attachment relationship determines the long-term impact on the psychological characteristics ofthe children by affecting their worldview and in their perception of social environments.

The long-term impact of a father’s involvement in offspring development is understudied. The current study investigated the relations between early paternal engagement (i.e., the amount of time fathers engaged in one-to-one activity with their child), paternal accessibility (i.e., fathers’ physical proximity to their children) and later child behavioral difficulties. Data were obtained from five phases of the Auckland Birthweight Collaborative (ABC) longitudinal cohort study: at the study children’s birth; at 12 months; 3.5 years; 7 years; and 11 years of age. Moderated linear regression analyses revealed that there was a negative, long-term effect of paternal departure from the family household (i.e., reduced paternal accessibility) by 3.5 years of age on children’s total behavioral difficulties and conduct problems scores, but only if departed fathers had been highly engaged during the child’s first year of life. These findings suggest that the relationship between paternal accessibility and paternal engagement is potentially more nuanced than previously thought.

This article provides an overview of the rationale behind the social integration processes research. It identifies analytical advantages of the cognitive modelling that are based on the conceptual connections existing in the model architecture and convey dynamics of its operation through their causality. This article demonstrates that the cognitive model of the vertical and horizontal social integration ensures consistent social solidarity, however, it does not allow to accelerate the pace of the social integration processes and thus maintains societal anomie in the process of social reproduction. We propose the cognitive model of sustainable development of social reproduction based on empathy and social cohesion accelerators. Integration procedures in this model result from structural organization of the relationship between the primary social reproduction circuit and auxiliary circuits as well as from activating the mechanisms of dynamic interference between the named circuits. Each auxiliary circuit with positive feedback (growth cycle) is fitted with the social cohesion accelerator (growth factor) that ensures targeted amplification of the empathic potential in a given cycle, while all cycles together contribute to a continued long-term effect of the empathic potential amplification required for stable social reproduction in society.

The paper presents the results of studies on the effects of hypoxia in the antenatal period on a number of blood coagulability indicators in adult rats. It was revealed that the long-term effect of prenatal hypoxia contributes to the acceleration of certain parameters of blood clotting. The established hypercoagulable shift in the system. It was shown that at the same time the blood coagulation time and recalcification accelerated; thromboplastic activity, prothrombin and thrombin time increased, and at the same time plasma high tolerance to heparin was noted. These studies suggest that prenatal hypoxia alters the overall state of blood coagulation, where it forms a qualitatively new stereotype of the relationship between hemocoagulation and fibrinolysis factors.

Abstract Background Breast augmentation with polyacrylamide gel (PAAG) injection was approved in China in 1998 and later banned in 2006. The ban ensued numerous complaints from patients such as pain, induration, deformation, infection, displacement, and milk deposition associated with PAAG injection. To date, no study has investigated the long-term effect of PAAG migration on autoimmune diseases. Case presentation We report a rare case of a 49-year-old female patient with familial vitiligo who receiving PAAG injection for breast augmentation. The patient reported to have felt persistent movement of PAAG in her thoracoabdominal area for almost 20 years. Furthermore, the PAAG-induced chronic inflammation that aggravated vitiligo, which in turn promoted skin sclerosis. This damaged the breast contracture, increased chest tightness and induced mild breathing problems. Conclusion Here, we present a rare case in which a patient with a family history of vitiligo experienced long-term complications after receiving PAAG injection for breast augmentation. This case highlights the relationship between vitiligo, migration of PAAG and tissue hardening and skin contraction. Level of evidence: Level V

Emotional creativity (EC), which constitutes a main aspect of the general creativity concept, is often shown to be substantially related to positive emotional experiences, effective motivation, and innovation at the workplace as well as at school. However, little is known about the relationship between emotional creativity and the time people tend to spend playing video games. Nowadays, video games and virtual reality have become an important aspect of public health and psychological research. They constitute a key element of popular culture and generate considerable economic profit as part of the public entertainment industry. Our study is based on the results of an emotional creativity inventory (ECI) survey that was administered at a snowball and convenient sample of 453 respondents (aged 18–60 years, M ± SD: 23.68 ± 6.36; 66.40% women, 20.00% with higher education) from the Czech Republic who were questioned about their habits and the time they devote to playing video games. The sample country was selected as one with a long tradition of homebrew video gaming going back to the 1980s. We employed a set of multinomial regression analyses, which revealed that more time devoted to playing video games is associated with lower emotional creativity, in general, as well as with lower novelty, preparedness, and effectiveness components of emotional creativity. The negative association above was less pronounced for women than for men. Moreover, in a sample containing only women, a longer time devoted to playing video games was associated with the higher novelty component of emotional creativity (the associations with the other two components were not statistically significant for women only). Our findings might considerably contribute to the study of the general overall long-term effect of video games and the use of digital technologies in general on public health.
