Information technology becomes one of the important elements for an organization or company in realizing the effectiveness and efficiency of performance.  To create a company that has a good performance, it requiring the existence of an information system to assisting the management in taking a decision. In its implementation, the use of existing information system still encounter some obstacles during the operation. In this study, the authors used application belongs to Mail and Logistic (MLO) agenpos application. Therefore, SWOT analysis is needed to know the strengths and weakness in internal factors and to know the opportunities and threats in external factors. Choosing the right strategy can maximize the strengths and opportunities, on the other side can minimize the weaknesses and threats.

The clay industry in Godean Distric existed due to proximity of its rawmaterial. The clay industry has been established since 1930 and beganto stop producing. The strategy is needed to maintain the sustainabilityof this production activity. The aim of this research is to formulate thesustainable strategy using the SWOT analysis. The SWOT analysis isformulated with internal and external factors that influence thesustainability of this industry. The data is analized with descriptivequalitative technique using IFAS Table, EFAS Table, IE Matrix, andSWOT Matrix. The results show that the internal factors aremanagement, the product reputation, inovation, capital, labour, rawmaterial, and business sucessors. The external factors are market, theexistance of Asosiasi Pengrajin Genteng, government policies,suppliers and distributors, and competitors. The right strategy tomaintain the sustainability of the clay industry is to avoid losing profitand extend the market. One of right way to do is making the own brand.

The role of information technology is very important for the progress of a company, by using information technology, strategic planning for the company's development will be better, some companies will definitely take advantage of information technology for the progress of their companies, this is also used for Toko baju Surabaya cabang Surakarta. This shop is a company engaged in the sale of clothing, this company uses the SmartConsole application to support sales. However, there are still sectors in this company that have not implemented an information system, one of which is in the section on stock data collection and payroll. Therefore, an appropriate IS / IT strategic planning is needed. This research was conducted using the Ward and Peppard method with SWOT analysis, Five Forces Porter, and McFarlan Strategic Grid. The output produced from this study is in the form of strategic recommendations from the results of the internal and external environmental analysis of the company's information system, as well as a proposal for an Information System to be mapped using the McFarlan Strategic Grid to be applied to companies in the next two years.

The payroll system is an important thing in a company. Salary is one of the important things that encourages employee performance so that the company continues to run well. PT. Batam Bintan Telecommunications Lagoi Service Operations in the calculation of salaries still manually only use MS.Excel and pay slips are still manually in the form of a salary slip to be submitted to employees. This makes work in the finance department slow, and employees cannot get information about overtime income. The purpose of this study is to design an information system to facilitate the performance of salary management. With a SWOT analysis, it was found that the factors that cause problems in the current payroll system at PT. Batam Bintan Telecommunications Lagoi Service Operations, and solutions were found to solve or minimize problems with the current payroll system. The method in this research is divided into two stages, namely the data interview method with observation and interviews and the software development method using the Waterfall model. Website-based payroll information system is created using the Laravel Framework using the PHP programming language, and MySQL as its database. With a web-based payroll system can help calculate salaries automatically and systematically, as well as quickly and accurately. Thus, employee performance is better and the company gets the benefits too.

To accelerate company operation, a company must able to manage the stock, need to know the in and out of the stock they have. The bigger the company the more difficult for the store keeper to record all data. So of course the company need a information technology that help the operation of the company, that intend to ensure accuracy of the right data and the right time. Inventory and Distribution Management Information System is a way to expected to help in processing of the stock data. This application is build using the waterfall method. This type of method consists of 6 stages, namely planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. This information system also uses the Java Netbeans IDE and MySQL database to build the stock management application. The results of this information system indicate that this can be used in assisting the work of the warehouse in processing the goods data in the related company. So that it can help effectiveness in its work

In company activities, the IT helpdesk plays an important role in ensuring and providing the best quality related to information technology. When carrying out work activities that use information technology, there are problems that arise in the use of IT, including at PT. Mitra Tiga Berlian (MTB). MTB is a company engaged in the service sector, to be precise a car service workshop (body repair and oven painting specialist) located on Jl. Kalimanggis, Jatikarya, Bekasi. In designing the IT helpdesk information system on MTB, the authors conducted observations and interviews beforehand designing a web-based information system using the waterfall method so that the system designed can be used by the IT department in problem reports quickly and can store information on the problem of each problem in the complaint. that occurs, thus minimizing communication errors in the IT Helpdesk.

The purpose of this study is to find out what factors influence the implementation of the policy and formulate the strategy for implementing the policy. The main data type is primary data and is equipped with secondary data. Data collection methods are used interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. Research analysis used a SWOT analysis tool. Based on the results of the study that internal factors and external factors that influence the strength of internal factors consisting of easily published policies, adequate human resources, policy objectives and clear sanctions for policy violators. The weakness side is that the level of supervision is not optimal, the implementer rejects the policy, the highest retail price level is not right and the policy information has not been clearly conveyed. Whereas the opportunity side of external factors is the ability to increase rice stocks with imports, the government's readiness to fill rice stocks in the market and the public's encouragement to maintain stability in rice price stability. The threat side is the availability of rice from limited farmers, disruption of rice production factors and a long rice distribution chain. The right strategy used today is a defensive strategy. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi implementasi kebijakan tersebut dan merumuskan strategi implementasi kebijakan tersebut. Jenis data utama digunakan data primer dan dilengkapi data sekunder. Metode pengambilan data digunakan wawancara, kuisioner dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis penelitian digunakan alat analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi yaitu dari sisi kekuatan pada faktor internal terdiri dari kebijakan mudah dipublikasikan, sumber daya manusia memadai, tujuan kebijakan dan sanksi jelas bagi pelanggar kebijakan. Sisi kelemahan yaitu tingkat pengawasan belum optimal, pelaksana menolak kebijakan, tingkat harga eceran tertinggi belum tepat dan informasi kebijakan belum tersampaikan dengan jelas. Sedangkan sisi peluang dari faktor eksternal yaitu kemampuan menambah persediaan beras dengan impor, kesiapan pemerintah untuk mengisi persediaan beras di pasar dan dorongan masyarakat untuk menjaga stabilitas stabilitas harga beras. Sisi ancaman yaitu ketersediaan beras dari petani terbatas, gangguan faktor produksi beras dan rantai distribusi beras panjang. Strategi yang tepat digunakan saat ini yaitu strategi defensif.

Abstrak - Teknologi informasi yang memiliki tiga unsur utama yaitu perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, dan pelaksana sebagai komponen utamanya ini sangat sulit dipisahkan dari banyak hal dalam kehidupan industri. PT. Indo Ocean Logistic adalah salah satu perusahaan PMD yang menyediakan jasa pengiriman eksport dan import untuk kargo peti kemas bermuatan penuh (Full Container Load / FCL) dan maupun kargo yang bermuatan sedikit (Less than Container Load / LCL) melalui laut (sea freight), darat (inland) maupun udara (air freight), dimana proses jasa pengiriman ekspor pada perusahaan ini masih berjalan sangat lambat, dan data yang dihasilkan kurang akurat. Untuk itu penulis mencoba membuat Sistem Informasi Jasa Pengiriman Ekspor Pada PT. Indo Ocean Logistic Jakarta yang terkomputerisasi. Sistem informasi berbasis komputerisasi merupakan solusi terbaik dalam pemecahan berbagai masalah kegiatan tersebut, dan dengan penerapan sistem diharapkan dapat tercapainya efektifitas dan efisiensi dalam menunjang aktifitas di PT. Indo Ocean Logistic.Kata Kunci: berbasis web, jasa pengiriman ekspor, sistem informasi.Abstract - Information technology that has three main elements, namely hardware, software, and implementers as its main component is very difficult to separate from many things in industrial life. PT. PT. Dwi Aneka Jaya Kemasindo is a company that produces cardboard packaging as well as making paper and other things related to paper for packaging and other products. The research carried out there were several problems including the internal and external environmental situation, as well as existing threats including human resources caused by a workforce who was still working full time when the available factories were only 2 factory locations from the previous 3 factories available. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to company management in making strategic decisions about what products and services to develop. The author researching with Business Models Canvas, SWOT analysis, Pestle Analysis as an alternative to additional analysis covering aspects of human resources, external factors, internal factors and systems, as well as other aspects that are developed in an integrated and comprehensive manner. The results of this integrated management are expected to provide improvements and priority programs that must be implemented so that the company can avoid risks that will harm its survival.
