Gender equality still becomes a sensitive issue in Islamic educational institutions, especially in pesantren, a traditional Islamic educational institution. There is a strong assumption that in the socio-religious tradition of pesantren, women's subordination still practices widely. However, some pesatren take serious attention to overcome this issue through their daily activities within pesantren. One of which is Pesantren Sabilurrosyad in Malang, East Java. This article aims to elaborate on the realization of gender justice in the pesantren. This research uses a qualitative approach through observation and in-depth interviews with the board members of pesantren, as well as its male and female students. The results showed that the Pesantren Sabilurrosyad had implemented the values of gender justice in their socio-religious activities. The implementation forms include providing opportunities for female students to become head of student association; female students are given freedom to recite the Koran directly to the kyai; and female teachers (ustadzah) are given the opportunity to share in one forum with male students.Kesetaraan gender masih menjadi isu sensitive di lembaga pendidikan Islam, khususnya di pondok pesantren. Terdapat anggapan bahwa dalam tradisi sosial-keagamaan di pesantren  subordinasi perempuan masih terjadi. Hal ini menjadi perhatian bagi beberapa pesantren yang ingin menjadikan isu ini sebagai bagian dari aktivitas pesantren, salah satunya adalah Pondok Pesantren Sabilurrosyad di Malang. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasi perwujudan keadilan gender di pondok tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap para pengurus ponpes dan santri putra dan santri putri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pondok pesantren Sabilurrosyad telah mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai keadilan gender dalam tradisi sosial-keagamaan pesantren. Wujud implementasi tersebut diantaranya adalah memberikan kesempatan kepada santri putri untuk menjadi ketua pondok, santri putri diberikan kebebasan untuk mengaji langsung kepada kyai, serta pengajar putri (ustadzah) diberikan peluang untuk bersama 1 (satu) forum dengan santri putra.

This study aims to describe the form of the religious day celebrations of Malay society across religions and the meaning of commemorating them in educational institutions. This field research uses a qualitative research approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, participant level observation and documentation. The results of the study describe that the form of religious day commemoration activities in SMPN 2 Arut Selatan are grouped into two, namely: commemoration of religious days which are commemorated based on certain moments, for instance are maulid of the Prophet Muhammad, Isra Mi'raj, and celebrations to welcome the Islamic New Year (Islam), Christmas and Easter (Christian Protestant and Catholic); and routine religious activities, for example is prayer with each of the followers of interfaith religions. Furthermore, the meanings of the religious days celebration are grouped into three views, trere are; as the obligation/ necessity of the learning process, empirical religion and individual's religion; as a culture / habit that becomes a system at school; as a requirement for the implementation of religious practices; and as a culture related to the commemoration of religious days.

One of the factors that contributes most significantly to the success of an organization is the effectiveness of its staff. This is particularly true of educational institutions. No matter how efficient and well-intentioned the school administrator is, he can hardly achieve success without the support and co-operation of well qualified, didicated, committed and effective staff. The study cirtically examines work home conflict among female teachers at the Basic Eduwtion level. and its impact on effectiveness in the classroom and other organizational work in the school. Data from questionnaires and interviews with 268 female teachers and 25 heads respectively suggest that there is a relationship between work-home conflict and effectiveness of female teachers. The combination of paid employment with the care of the home and children involves an excessive strain and stress which negatively affects effectiveness of female.

The phenomenon of the development of the veil in Indonesia, especially among higher education has become a concern lately. This is due to the view of the public about the relationship between the use of the veil with the influence of certain ideologies. This research aims to determine the reasons and motivations for the use of the veil among female students, perceptions received in the surrounding environment, and obstacles encountered. This research uses a phenomenological approach as part of qualitative research. Participants in this research were 12 female students from private universities in Yogyakarta. The method of in-depth interviews using interview guide instruments becomes a technique in collecting data. Data analysis using semantic reduction is done by identifying important statements from the results of the interview, determining the theme of the discussion, and describing the significance of the whole experience of veiled students. The results showed that there were five main themes in the use of the veil in higher education, namely the average age of female students who used veil, motivation and reasons for using a veil, perceptions from within themselves and their environment, constraints encountered, and consistency in wearing a veil. Some of the findings obtained are certainly new references that need to be further developed. Therefore, knowledge about Islamophobia especially the perception of the phenomenon of the veil is important for educational institutions in determining policy and for the community to be a reference in dealing with the phenomenon.

<strong>Abstrak: </strong>Artikel ini mengkaji kedudukan perempuan di lembaga pendidikan Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah di Sumatera Utara. Organisasi Al Washliyah merupakan organisasi Islam tradisional yang menganut mazhab Ahlussunnahwaljamaah dalam bidang akidah dan Syâfi‘iyah dalam bidang fikih. Afiliasi organisasi ini dalam kedua mazhab tersebut disinyalir akan tidak memberikan kedudukan yang setara antara perempuan dengan laki-laki. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian kualitatif dimana data penelitian diperoleh dari kegiatan telaah dokumen dan observasi. Kajian ini mengajukan temuan bahwa lembaga pendidikan Al Washliyah yang dikelola oleh Majelis Pendidikan Al Washliyah ternyata belum memberikan porsi signifikan bagi kaum perempuan dalam struktur organisasinya. Tidak pernah ditemukan perempuan menjadi ketua atau sekretaris majelis, kecuali sebagai bendahara. Tetapi, kaum perempuan telah dilibatkan sebagai manajer di lembaga pendidikan Al Washliyah. Sebab, beberapa jabatan pimpinan madrasah, sekolah, dan perguruan tinggi Al Washliyah dipegang oleh kaum perempuan. Tenaga pendidik di lembaga pendidikan Al Washliyah telah banyak diisi oleh kaum perempuan. Sebagian guru dan dosen perempuan Al Washliyah telah memiliki ijazah master. Memang, beberapa dari mereka dipercayakan sebagai manajer dengan tanggung jawab yang besar. <br /><strong> </strong><br /><strong>Abstract:  Women in Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah Educational Institution</strong>. This article examines women’s position in Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah educational institutions in North Sumatra. Al Washliyah organization is a traditional Islamic organization that practices the <em>Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamâ‘ah</em> theology and Shâfi‘i school of law. It has been alledged that these school of theology and law would not allow equal opportunity for man and woman. Nevertheless, this study—which mainly based on document review and observation—found that that was not exactly the case. While it is true that in Al Washliyah Education Council women are under respresented, the condition is much better in educational institutions. In Al Washliyah educational institutions, it is common to find female teachers and lecturers with master degrees. This present research studies the ideologization practices of the Islamic philanthropy institution managed by the civil society in Indonesia: a case study of Suryakarta Beramal Foundation. A qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. Data was collected using in-depth interviews, observations and documentation techniques and then inductively analyzed. The results show that Suryakarta Beramal is a philanthropy institution ideologically affiliated withthe Tarbiyah movement. Most of the collected Islamic philanthropy funds: zakat, (alms-giving), infak (infaq), sadaqah (donation) and wakaf (religious endowment) were provided to finance the educational institution possessed by Suryakarta Beramal, except for poverty alleviation; the educational institution also functions as an ideologization medium. Ideologization was conducted through curriculum engineering, holding various events such as smart recharging, liqa, mabit, rihlah and halaqah and students’ habituation, starting from using uniforms for religious activities either at school or in the dormitory. The result of the ideologization is that the alumni of the school of Suryakarta Beramal became the loyalists of the Tarbiyah ideology and are affiliated with Partai Adil Makmur (PAM) (Just and Affluent Party) as the political wing of the Tarbiyah movement in Indonesia.

The leadership and managerial ability of the leader of an educational institution is one of the determinants of the development of the educational institution. This study aims to describe the portrait of educational management from Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri in developing educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data is analyzed by data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri was a person who had a broad understanding of leadership and management, including management of education. This is indicated by its ability to develop educational institutions to carry out managerial functions of education management in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating and monitoring. The application process by Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri is a process of adaptation in accordance with the conditions and challenges of future education. Kepemimpinan dan kemampuan  manajerial pimpinan suatu lembaga pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor penentu perkembangan lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan potret manajemen pendidikan dari Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri dalam mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, presentasi, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri adalah orang yang memiliki pemahaman luas dalam kepemimpinan dan manajemen, termasuk manajemen pendidikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh kemampuannya mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan untuk melaksanakan fungsi manajerial manajemen pendidikan dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian, implementasi dan evaluasi serta pemantauan. Proses aplikasi oleh Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri adalah proses adaptasi sesuai dengan kondisi dan tantangan pendidikan ke depan.

Introduction. The formation of professional groups occurs under the influence of numerous social, medical, and physiological factors. This phenomenon has been known for a long time, but special attention was drawn to it only in the middle of the last century when the term “healthy worker effect” or self-selection was introduced. Since people with various clinical and physiological indices go to various professions, which affects mortality and morbidity in the future and makes it difficult to assess the impact of professional factors objectively. Later, there were identified several reasons determining the state of health of professional groups, particularly the so-called. “Healthy / unhealthy hiring effect.” Moreover, when comparing different working populations, the health status of workers in some cases depended more on the initial indices of employment than on working conditions. The most common method for evaluating the health status of children and adolescents is the assessment of their physical development, particularly the degree of obesity. An increased level of body fat can negatively affect the health of the cardiovascular system. The choice of a future specialty upon admission of adolescents to professional educational institutions may depend both on hygienic features and the self-assessment of their adaptability to working conditions in future activities. Material and methods. A cross-sectional study was conducted of 141 female students enrolled in the Saratov College of Water Transport, Construction, and Services. During the examination, an anthropometric study, a study of the structure of body mass, and a study of the state of the cardiovascular system were carried out. Results. Body mass analysis found seamstress and hairdresser-trained girls to have lower body fat but higher levels of lean body mass and active cell mass. In contrast, insurance-trained girls and cook-trained girls had increased levels of body fat but lower levels of lean body mass and active cell mass. At the same time, girls who studied insurance and cooks had a higher load on the cardiovascular system. In these two groups, there were higher mean values of blood pressure and heart rate, as well as higher values of the cardiac index, index “rhythm” and index “myocardium”. Conclusion. Signs of latent obesity associated with a deficit in active cell body mass and excess body fat with normal body mass index are found in a significant number of girls entering various specialties of a vocational educational institution. There are found differences in clinical and physiological indices between groups of female adolescents entering various specialties of a vocational educational institution, which can be regarded as signs of the effect of healthy/unhealthy hiring. Trends that arise already at the stage of formation of professional groups can continue in the course of work and affect the state of health in the future.

Meunasah is one of the basic levels of traditional Islamic educational institutions in Aceh. Which to date continues to be vehement with recitation and other civic activities. aims to find out the origins and the development of meunasah as a basic traditional Islamic educational institution in Aceh. This research applied a literature study by collecting various references. The results showed that meunasah had existed since the formation of the Islamic community in Aceh. The development of meunasah as a traditional Aceh Islamic education institution was only discovered during the period of Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636).

SQL Server Reporting Services is a way to analyze data, create reports using the indicators and gauges. Indicators are minimal gauges that convey the state of a single data value at a glance, and most are used to represent the state of Key Performance Indicators. Manage and harmonize the performance of an institution's educational institutions, especially universities with the performance of individuals or resources, no doubt is one of the essential elements for the success of an entity of the institution. Integrate the performance of an educational institution with individual performance is not an easy process, and therefore required a systematic approach to manage it. Implementation of a strategic management system based Balanced Scorecard can be used as a performance measurement system that will continuously monitor the successful implementation of the strategy of any public educational institution and measure the performance of its resources in a comprehensive and balanced, not the quantity but the emphasis is more concerned with the quality, so the performance of educational institutions at any time can be known clearly. Contribution of Key Performance Indicators to manage and harmonize the performance of any public institution is a solution in providing information to realize the extent of work that has set targets, identify and monitor measures of success, of course, with performance indicators show a clear, specific and measurable.

Instagram is a social media application that is currently very popular in the community, especially among artist, politicians, and business people. Companies or advanced business must quicly adapt to the advancement of information technology in the form of social media as a marketing tool. Instagram social media also necessary to developing educational institutions. One of the educational institution that ae currently developing is the newly established Faculty of Economics and Business Islam (FEBI) at the Kediri State Islamic Institute (IAIN Kediri). This writing aims to examine the importance of Instagram as social media marketing to building FEBI IAIN Kediri Brand Awareness. Instagram social media is considered more effectives to embrace students and the community, so it is expected to facilitate marketing and communication between FEBI IAIN Kediri with the students or other agencies.
