This research aims to find out and examine the difficulties experienced by PAI teachers in implementing the 2013 Curriculum in the city of Medan. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach that is studied through literature studies. Data collection was obtained through interview techniques with PAI teachers in Medan. The results of this study show that there are several difficulties experienced by PAI teachers in the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum, including lack of understanding of the teacher itself with the content of the 2013 curriculum as a whole, inadequate facilities as a means of support in supporting learning. Some learning materials require a time allocation that is more than the specified time. The solution offered in this case first; increased knowledge and application of the 2013 curriculum for teachers. It can be done by following open discussions, training and other intellectual activities. In addition, teachers are required to be creative in designing learning through innovative media and good learning strategies and methods.

The companies themselves are considered to have received a lot of hadith and some are also few due to factors of residence, area, age and so on. One of the greatest policies of the prophet regarding the maintenance of both of them was to command the companions to memorize and write the Qur’an, and officially appointed a revelation writer who was in charge of recording every verse of the Qur’an that was revealed under the direct instructions of the Prophet SAW. Many of the property's traditions, so the tabi’in, who are the companions’ disciples, also collect a lot of the prophet’s hadiths and even this collection is arranged in an orderly manner. The method used by the tabi’in in collecting and recording hadith is through meetings (al-talaqqi) with their friends and then the record what they get from the meeting.

The highest knowledge of the Sufis is ma'rifah which is obtained through disciplinary practice, through riyadhah and mujahada which are here referred to as Sufi epistemology. These paths are cultivated in a disciplined, methodological and objective manner so as to enable the Sufis to compile their treatises in a standard manner. As one of the most famous scholars in the archipelago, Hamzah Fansuri in the book Sharb Al-Ashiqĭn also compiled standard treatises regarding this Sufi path. Through this philosophical analysis, Hamzah Fansuri's model of Sufism epistemology is explained. The results of this study indicate that to reach the state of knowledge, a person must take spiritual steps, be under the guidance of a teacher, lead a simple life and always put their trust in Allah SWT.

This article discusses Jami 'al-Azhar as a center for the knowledge study and the holistic interaction of teacher-student relationships. On the other hand, the position of teachers continues to be marginalized in the digital era. Hence, it is pivotal to look back at the teacher-student relationship that has prevailed in the history of Islamic education, especially in Jami 'al-Azhar. The research methodology employed literature review with a historical approach through primary and secondary source analysis. This study found that Jami 'al-Azhar was a center for the Islamic studies and study of science, initially aimed as propaganda for the Kingdom of Fathimiyah to perpetuate Shi'i understanding. However, the rank continued to develop to give a role as a center of thought and knowledge that gave birth to scholars from various schools of thought. One of its uniqueness as a center for the study of science is to perpetuate the interaction of teacher-student relationships in various traditions. Among the most prominent traditions are sanad, ijazah, suhbah, and talaqqi. Therefore, it can be concluded that the practice of teaching at Jami 'al-Azhar is manifested through the knowledge geneology and mentor system
