Using materials from PwC’s data analytics case study with a fictitious company, Pixystems Toy Company, Inc. (PwC, 2017), henceforth Pixystems Toys, the authors developed a comprehensive, multi-part data analytics project applicable in a variety of accounting courses.  The project follows the common data analytics framework (ask the right questions, extract, transform and load (ETL) the data, perform appropriate analyses and present the results).  Students apply this framework to the sales and purchases cycles.  For each students develop relevant questions, build a data model and perform other ETL procedures, perform analytics and prepare a presentation to convey insights and recommendations.  For the sales cycle, Microsoft Excel is the analytics tool; for the purchases cycle, Tableau is used. This project provides an opportunity for students to gain experience with two analytics tools, understand the process of building a data model, and wrestle with how to convey the results of their analysis.

Background: The prevalence of anemic pregnant women in Indonesia in 2018 was still high which was at 48.9%.  Pregnant women are vulnerable to nutritional problems and other diseases, including being infected with the Covid-19 virus. One of the preventive measures is to eat nutritious foods such as foods that are a source of antioxidants. The use of crackels (catfish crackers and Moringa) as an alternative snack for pregnant women is the right step because crackels contain high nutrients. The research objectives were to develop crackels, to analyze the nutritional content and their organoleptic quality. Methods: This research is an experimental study with substitution treatment of Moringa leaf flour towards catfish crackers conducted at the Laboratory of Mitra Indonesia University and State Polytechnic of Lampung. Six treatments were done with four repetitions. Data analysis used Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS for windows version 20. The tests used were non-parametric statistical tests, Anova, and paired sample t test.Result: Crackels formula that has been developed with the best acceptance and quality was formula F1 (3.49) which was derived from the addition of 10 grams of Moringa leaf flour and 30 grams of catfish flour. The best nutritional content of crackels is namely, energy 403 kcal, protein 21.3%, fat 15%, carbohydrates 45.7%, iron 8.32 mg/100g, calcium 29.6 mg/100g, sodium 672 mg/100g, and antioxidants indicated by % inhibition ranging from 32- 35% and IC50 value of 68.34%.Conclusion: The best crackels was the crackels which contain 10 grams of Moringa leaf flour and 30 grams of catfish which are effective as sources of antioxidants for pregnant women with antioxidants indicated by % inhibition ranging from 32- 35% .Keywords: anemic pregnant mother, antioxidant, catfish, crackers, moringa

How to tell if the data or value has slope and tapering can be calculated by using applications such as Microsof Excel and SPSS. From the data taken that is uts result value is known that the data has a slope of 0.082 means the data is tilted to the right because a > 0, while the result for tapering (Kurtosis) of 0.190 means the tapering of this data is called Platykurtis. These results are obtained using calculations in Microsoft Excel and SPSS whose results are aligned/ the same.

Relevance. The focus of modern dental treatment not only on the elimination of aesthetic, but also functional disorders requires an understanding of the functional conjugation of the chewing muscles, the possibility of interprognosis of parameters. Objective. Assess the functional relationship between the tone of the chewing muscles proper and the bioelectric activity of the temporal and sublingual muscle groups in children with anomalies of the dentoalveolar system. Materials and Methods. The study involved 36 patients of Childrens Clinical Dental Clinic No. 2 of Voronezh, aged 6 to 12 years, who had not previously received orthodontic treatment and had distal occlusion anomalies. Evaluation of the bioelectric activity of temporal and sublingual muscles was carried out using surface electromyography on the Electromyograph Dental apparatus (Taganrog, Russia), the Chewing General sample. Evaluation of the tone of the chewing muscles proper was carried out using the Mioton-3C device in a state of physiological rest of the lower jaw. Statistical processing was carried out using Microsoft Excel, version 7.0 and the statistical programs SPSS Statistics 21 and STATISTICA 7. Results and Discussion. Correlation analysis revealed the presence of 4 weak positive, 2 weak negative, 14 moderate positive, 3 moderate negative, and 1 noticeable positive correlation between the tone of the right chewing muscle proper and the parameters of the bioelectric activity of the right and left temporal and sublingual muscles. Correlation analysis revealed the presence of 5 weak positive, 7 weak negative, 9 moderate negative correlations between the tone of the left chewing muscle proper and the parameters of bioelectric activity of the right and left temporal and sublingual muscles. Conclusion. A greater effect of the tone of the right chewing muscle on the bioelectric activity of temporal and sublingual muscles was found compared to the tone of the left chewing muscle itself. 27 equations have been derived that can be used as predictive models for calculating the tone of right and left chewing muscles proper depending on the indicators of bioelectric activity of temporal and sublingual muscles.

Small-scale sporting events play an important role in bringing tourists to destinations. In this case, students take the role of the fictional national events director for EVP Beach Volleyball as he analyzes hotel data from three destinations to determine which locale would most benefit from EVP’s participants and fans. The primary goal is for students to learn to conduct basic analysis on a large, real dataset using Microsoft Excel. A second goal is to introduce students to the key performance indicators of the hotel industry: Occupancy Rate, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR). These metrics are central to hoteliers’ daily operations and familiarity with them will help students speak that language when interacting with people in the field. Thirdly, the case introduces key concepts surrounding the economic impact of sport events, particularly relating to the value of visitor spending.
