This study reveals the analysis of the online media's role, "Tsutaeru Hatsuon", to improve Japanese language learners in mastering and to apply Japanese phonetics, especially in accents and intonation. This study uses primary data in the form of respondents' answers to questions in the website "Tsutaeru Hatsuon", which was conducted twice, namely pre-test and post-test, and secondary data in the form of responses questionnaires. Respondents in this study were 64 Japanese language education students at Semarang State University, class of 2019. The results showed that the post-test scores increased than the pre-test scores. In Japanese intonation material, respondents who answered questions correctly on all questions increased by 23%, while in accent material, respondents who answered questions correctly on all questions increased by 31%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an improvement in the respondent's ability to understand Japanese intonation and accent after using the "Tsutaeru Hatsuon" website. According to respondents, the questionnaire answers showed that the website "Tsutaeru Hatsuon" is easy to understand and use. Moreover, the material is easy to understand, and the explanation is very detailed, which is equipped with sound files and learning videos. It is beneficial for learners to be able to understand Japanese accents and intonations directly.

 Abstract This study discusses the mastery of kanoukei in 2018 students of Japanese language study programs at Padang State University. The purpose of this study was to determine the kanoukei mastery of 2018 students entering the Japanese Language Study Program at Padang State University. This type of research used in this research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population in this study were students entering 2018 Japanese Language Education Study Program, Padang State University, amounting to 62 people. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The data of this study are the kanoukei mastery test scores for 2018 students entering the Japanese Language Study Program at Padang State University. Based on the results of the research carried out it can be concluded that the mastery of student kanoukei in 2018 in general is in the qualification "more than enough" with an average of 60.43

Abstract This study discusses the mastery of Shiekibun in 2017 students of Japanese language study programs at Padang State University. The purpose of this study was to determine the Shiekibun mastery of 2017 students entering the Japanese Language Study Program at Padang State University. This type of research used in this research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population in this study were students entering 2017 Japanese Language Education Study Program, Padang State University, amounting to 56 people. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The data of this study are the Shiekibun mastery test scores for 2017 students entering the Japanese Language Study Program at Padang State University. Based on the results of the research carried out it can be concluded that the mastery of student Shiekibun in 2017 in general is in the qualification "pretty good" with an average of 66.8

Purpose: Ideally, students as future educators of the Arabic language are required to possess competent language skills. However, it was discovered that the students were still lacking knowledge and skills in speaking with accurate intonation. Therefore, the researchers aimed to analyze the application of the intonation pattern to the students. This research examined the intonation pattern of interrogative sentences of Arabic Education students and its acceptance by native speakers as well as its implications on the learning of mahārah al-kalām. Methodology: Data sources in this research consisted of primary data and secondary data. Documentation, interview, and observation methods were used for data collection. The data was processed digitally with the Praat version 6.1.01 program. Main Findings: The results were that students could apply the intonation pattern of Arabic interrogative sentences and were accepted by native speakers with varied acceptance values. Implications/Applications: The implications of the learning mahārah al-kalām demonstrated that students and lecturers could apply the principles and fulfil the components of Arabic in general. Novelty/Originality of this study: Inaccuracy in concluding by listeners of messages delivered by speakers can occur due to misperceptions caused by the use of unsuitable intonation patterns. The inaccuracy in applying this intonation pattern also occurs in the speech of Arabic education students. However, currently, there is no research that further inquiries the results obtained in the realm of foreign language education, particularly on speaking skills. This study has investigated the application of the interrogative sentence intonation patterns spoken by students and their implications for learning speaking skills.

AbstraksiKemampuan berbicara merupakan salah satu aspek yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam berkomunikasi sehingga dapat menunjang keterampilan berbahasa khususnya Bahasa Jepang. Namun dalam kenyataannnya keterampilan berbicara kurang mendapat perhatian. Pembelajar bahasa asing menemui masalah pada saat berbicara dalam bahasa yang sedang dipelajarinya. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan teknik pembelajaran yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut, salah satunya dengan menerapkan teknik permainan cerita berantai dengan media gambar untuk pembelajaran berbicara Bahasa Jepang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Jepang sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya teknik permainan cerita berantai dengan media gambar. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap teknik permainan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Dengan menggunakan one group pre-test-post-test design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 20 mahasiswa Tingkat II Departemen pendidikan bahasa Jepang UPI. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan tes dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui db-19, t-hitung 34.8 dan t-tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% adalah 2,09 dan pada taraf signifikan 1% adalah 2,86. Dengan kata lain t-hitung lebih besar dari pada t-tabel. Sehingga diartikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pembelajaran berbicara Bahasa Jepang sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik permainan cerita berantai. Dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan teknik permainan cerita berantai dengan media gambar ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Jepang. Sehingga dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti merekomendasikan untuk dijadikan sebagai alternatif teknik pembelajaran. Kata kunci : teknik permainan cerita berantai, media gambar, pembelajaran berbicara Bahasa Jepang.  AbstractSpeaking skills is an aspect that have important role in communication in order to support language skills, especially Japanese. Yet, in reality, speaking skill received less attention. Foreign language learners encounter problems when they learn to speak in Japanese. Therefore, an appropriate learning techniques is needed to cope with the problem, one of them is by applying chained story techniques with pictures as the media for Japanese speaking skill education. The purpose of this research are to description of speaking ability before and after chained story techniques with pictures as the media. Beside that, to determine the response of students about chained story technique. The research method that used of this research is quasi experiment. And the design of this research used one group pre-test-post-test design. The sample of this research are 20 university student on the second semester of Japanese Language Education Department. As for how to collect data in this research used test and questionnaire. Based on the result of data analysis that known db-19, t hitung 34.8 and t-table on significant level at 5% is 2, 09 and on significant level at 1% is 2,86. In other word, t hitung greater than t table. Its mean there’s significant difference between the result of Japanese speaking skill education before and after used chained story technique. The conclusion of this matter is the use of chained story techniques with pictures as the media can improve Japanese language speaking skill education. So that, the researcher recommended this technique can be used as an alternative as a learning technique.  Keyword : chained story techniques, pictures as the media, Japanese language speaking skill education.

Indonesia is a country that has a diverse culture, ethnicity, language, and rich tourism potentials. However, many people abroad who do not know about the diversity of Indonesian culture. The younger generations were much less aware of even less have sufficient of the richness of the culture of Indonesia. The knowledge about Indonesian culture of Japanese Language Education students Semarang State University, is still inadequate, so they can not be explained to the Japanese society apropiately, not good enough. Therefore students need to be given education by developing blog that contains Indonesian culture which is written in Japanese. The purpose of this study was developing a blog that can be a means of learning the culture. The method used is the Research and Development (R & D), with a step preliminary studies, product development, and product validation testing. Data was collected by questionnaire. Japanese expert validation results towards this blog are considered quite good as a means of studying Indonesian culture with an average score of 2.7 on the aspects of the format, quality, clarity, and clarity of language.

SMAN 10 Malang began implementing learning from home activities since the issuance of a circular from the government regarding the implementation of education policies during the Covid-19 emergency. Japanese language learning which is one of the subjects at SMAN 10 Malang that is studied by students majoring in Language and Mathematics and Natural Sciences, is also carried out online. In meeting these challenges, Youtube media is used for Japanese language learning during home learning activities (BDR). This study aims to describe the use of Youtube in Japanese language class dan to determine how interest and student learning outcomes in Japanese language learning using Youtube media during BDR activities. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with the process of collecting primary data through the results of student response questionnaires, as well as secondary data through the results of evaluation of student learning in Japanese language learning using Youtube media. The results of data analysis showed that students' interest in using Youtube media as a medium for learning Japanese language during BDR activities was in highest criteria. Moreover, the data has shown a satisfactory result in learning Japanese language through Youtube as a learning media.

This study aims at determining the effectiveness of meaningfulness approach in enhancing students’ speaking skill at German Language Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Literature, State University of Makassar. This study used a Pre - Experimental Design, and applied one group pre-test - post-test design. The population was the fifth semester student years 2011-2012 at the German language education study program with the total sample was 64 students by using total sampling method. Inferential statistics analysis in form of t-test was used to test research hypothesis. The result of this study showed that t = 4,09 is higher than t- table (t table = 1,999) at the significance level 0.05 or 4 , 09 ≥ 1,999 . The result showed that the meaningfulness approach was effective in enhancing students’ speaking skill at German Language Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Literature, State University of Makassar.

An exploration and analysis of the processes involved in crafting the institution’s strategic plan, identifying its quality assurance policies, documenting its graduates’ performance in government licensure examinations, description of the processes to ensure sustainability of educational programs, and portray the administration’s fund generation and management mechanisms was made in an effort to create a model for quality education in the University of Eastern Philippines, University Town, Northern Samar. It utilized the descriptive-evaluative method of research with a total of 400 respondents composed of students, faculty members, alumni, community residents, and University officials. Qualitative data were taken from respondents’ answers to open-ended questions, which were then validated through interviews.  Quantitative data on the other hand, were taken from both primary data derived from responses to items in the questionnaire, and secondary data on graduates’ performance in professional examinations. It was revealed that most stakeholders were aware of the institution’s strategic plan, although some were not consulted in the crafting of such an important document.  They aver that policies and guidelines are established, implemented, and strictly adhered to by the administration in its daily operations involving faculty, students, staff, fund generation and management, instruction, research, extension, production, faculty development, and student support services. Although graduates performed consistently well in some government examinations, in the years 2009 – 2014 they performed generally below the national average.  Respondents agree that curricular programs must regularly be updated to conform to minimum standards set by the Commission on Higher Education to ensure sustainability of programs.  For students to be globally relevant and competent, respondents agree to the provision of educationally qualified and competent teaching force, state-of-the-art facilities, modern instructional materials and methods, coupled with good governance and cooperation among stakeholders, are the key ingredients of an ideal quality of education in the University of Eastern Philippines.

Budget and budget absorption are very important in the sustainability of a budgeting system at state universities. Budget absorption is used as an indicator of performance measurement in a university. The opinion of budget managers is an important factor in efforts to optimize the budget. Therefore, research on the perception of budget managers on the determinants of budget acceptance in state university is very important, especially for new state universities (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Baru/PTNB), including University of Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVYK). The purpose of this study is to analyze the variables that affect budget absorption at UPNVYK. The variables are budgeting plan, budgeting management, human resource, procurement of goods dan services (Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa, PBJ), bureaucratic environment, monitoring and evaluation systems, and organizational commitment. This research is expected to formulate recommendations about budget policymaking and its implementation in UPNVYK management in particular and new state universities in general. It is hoped the research will become one of the policy making materials for UPNVYK management on budget implementation from the perception aspect and point of view of managers of the procurement of goods/services.The population of this research is financial management employees in all work units at UPNVYK which consists of 15 work units. The sample of the population is people who have certain positions related to the budget and management of the procurement of goods/services. The method in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This research data is primary data and secondary data. Secondary data comes from work units and rector regulations at UPNVYK. Primary data using a closed or open questionnaire on the perception of financial management employees at UPNVYK. The result of this research is that the most important issue of budget absorption at UPNVYK is the existence of organizational commitment and commitment from all employees in each unit on various issues related to budget absorption at University of Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta.
