AbstraksiKemampuan berbicara merupakan salah satu aspek yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam berkomunikasi sehingga dapat menunjang keterampilan berbahasa khususnya Bahasa Jepang. Namun dalam kenyataannnya keterampilan berbicara kurang mendapat perhatian. Pembelajar bahasa asing menemui masalah pada saat berbicara dalam bahasa yang sedang dipelajarinya. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan teknik pembelajaran yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut, salah satunya dengan menerapkan teknik permainan cerita berantai dengan media gambar untuk pembelajaran berbicara Bahasa Jepang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Jepang sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya teknik permainan cerita berantai dengan media gambar. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap teknik permainan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Dengan menggunakan one group pre-test-post-test design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 20 mahasiswa Tingkat II Departemen pendidikan bahasa Jepang UPI. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan tes dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui db-19, t-hitung 34.8 dan t-tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% adalah 2,09 dan pada taraf signifikan 1% adalah 2,86. Dengan kata lain t-hitung lebih besar dari pada t-tabel. Sehingga diartikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pembelajaran berbicara Bahasa Jepang sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik permainan cerita berantai. Dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan teknik permainan cerita berantai dengan media gambar ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Jepang. Sehingga dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti merekomendasikan untuk dijadikan sebagai alternatif teknik pembelajaran. Kata kunci : teknik permainan cerita berantai, media gambar, pembelajaran berbicara Bahasa Jepang.  AbstractSpeaking skills is an aspect that have important role in communication in order to support language skills, especially Japanese. Yet, in reality, speaking skill received less attention. Foreign language learners encounter problems when they learn to speak in Japanese. Therefore, an appropriate learning techniques is needed to cope with the problem, one of them is by applying chained story techniques with pictures as the media for Japanese speaking skill education. The purpose of this research are to description of speaking ability before and after chained story techniques with pictures as the media. Beside that, to determine the response of students about chained story technique. The research method that used of this research is quasi experiment. And the design of this research used one group pre-test-post-test design. The sample of this research are 20 university student on the second semester of Japanese Language Education Department. As for how to collect data in this research used test and questionnaire. Based on the result of data analysis that known db-19, t hitung 34.8 and t-table on significant level at 5% is 2, 09 and on significant level at 1% is 2,86. In other word, t hitung greater than t table. Its mean there’s significant difference between the result of Japanese speaking skill education before and after used chained story technique. The conclusion of this matter is the use of chained story techniques with pictures as the media can improve Japanese language speaking skill education. Kemampuan berbicara merupakan hal penting bagi pembelajar bahasa Jepang. Masalah yang sering ditemukan pada siswa dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jepang yaitu di antaranya siswa sering kali merasa bingung dan tidak percaya diri untuk berbicara bahasa Jepang. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya latihan pada keterampilan berbicara. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, peneliti melaksanakan penelitian mengenai efektivitas penggunaan kartu identitas bahasa Jepang terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media kartu identitas terhadap kemampuan berbicara bahasa Jepang. Selain itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa mengenai media kartu identitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dan dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test-post-test design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes lisan dan angket.  Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa XI IPS SMAN 2 Bandung tahun ajaran 2015/2016 sebanyak 20 orang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan perolehan nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum diterapkannya media kartu identitas yaitu sebesar 12,95 dan setelah diterapkannya media kartu identitas meningkat menjadi 23,8. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik komparasional didapatkan hasil thitung sebesar 29,73 dan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 2,09 dan taraf signifikansi 1% adalah 2,86, ini berarti  thitung >ttabel , maka Hk diterima dan Ho ditolak. Sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jepang siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya media kartu identitas. Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil analisis data angket, sebagian besar siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap media kartu identitas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jepang.Speaking competency is important for Japanese language learners. Problems cited by the students in learning the Japanese language speaking skills are among the students often feel confused and insecure to speak Japanese. This is due to lack of exercise on speaking skills. Based on the above background, the researchers conducted research on the effectiveness of the use of identity cards Japanese against their speaking ability. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of media use identity cards to the ability to speak Japanese. Moreover, the purpose of this study was to determine the response of the media student identity card. This research is a quantitative research using quasi-experimental methods and research design one group pre-test-post-test design. Instruments used in the form of an oral test and a questionnaire. The samples used were students XI IPS SMAN 2 Bandung 2015/2016 school year as many as 20 people. The result showed the acquisition value of the average student prior to the implementation of the identity card media that is equal to 12.95 and the introduction of an identity card media increased to 23.8. Based on statistical calculation results obtained komparasional thitung 29.73 and ttable at significance level of 5% was 2.09 and 1% significance level was 2.86, this means thitung> ttabel, then Hk Ho accepted and rejected. So that it can be interpreted that there are significant differences between Japanese speaking skills of students before and after the implementation of media identification card. Then, based on data analysis questionnaires, most students give positive response to the media the identity card to improve his skills speak Japanese.

This research aims to see the students’ speaking skill before and after learning process by using expression card media at the second grade of SMA Negeri 1 Parepare. The results of the research are useful for the teacher and students. The teacher should aware that it is important to supplied the technique or strategy before teaching and the students also can be easier to express their ideas, make the students more active in learning process. The subject of this research is XI IIS4 class which is consisted of 30 students. The sample was taken by using simple random sampling. The design in this research was pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The student did the pre-test, got the treatment and did the post-test. Then the criteria of speaking skills are fluency, accuracy, content, pronunciation and they were usedto measure the students’ speaking skill. It aimed to know whether using expression card media can improve the students’ speaking skill. The result in this research was indicated that there was improvement of the students’ speaking skill. It was indicated by the students’ mean score of post-test (73.3) was greater than pre-test (41.9). Even, for the level significant (p) 5% and (df) = N-1=30-1=29, and the value of table is 1.699, while the value of t-test is 16.18. it means that, the t-test value is greater than t-table (16.18 ≥ 1.699). Thus, it can be concluded that the students’ speaking skill is significant better after getting the treatment. So, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is fail rejected.

The study was set back by the low the creativity of children age 5-6 years in the Adzkia Air Bangis. one of the key factors this is suspected because it is not suitable or the media used by the teacher is not interestig. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of rock painting activities in developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Adzkia Air Bangis. the type of research is quantitative usng pseudo-experiment methods (quasi experiment) with pre-test design and post-test. The research population is 55 people. While the sampel 10 children. Sampling retrieval techniques are used sampling samples. The data uses t-test samples samples. As a result of the coclusion to the data collaction and management, 1) before being given an treatment (pre-test) the development of children’s creativity can be categorized as starting to develop but has not developed as expected. This is based on the result of research by researchers at Adzkia Air Bangis Kindergarten 2) after being given treatment (post-test) the development of chidren’s creativity can be categorized as developing according to expectations. 3) there is significant difference between the result of the pre-test and post-test after doing the paired sampe t-test sig 0,000 < 0,05.  Advice for teachers helping teachers by using experimental learning methods to develop the creativity of children aged 5-6 years trough rock painting activities.

AbstractStroke patients face a number of problems that include physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual which can cause a decrease in their well-being. Strengthening the role of the family, family support, and preparation for care by the family at home is needed. One effort is to increase the knowledge of stroke patients and families through health education. This study aimed to determine the effect of health education on the knowledge of stroke patients and families on the role, support, and preparation of care at home. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a one group pre-post test design. The study was conducted at Al Islam Bandung Hospital in 2018. Respondents consisted of 16 stroke patients and 16 stroke family families. The instrument uses a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that before and after the intervention there were significant mean differences in the level of knowledge of patients from 7.94 to 10.38 (p = 0.002), but in the variable readiness of stroke patients there was no significant difference in average seen from the mean value of 14.25 became 15.88 (p = 0.411). In the patient's family, it was shown that before and after the intervention there was a significant of mean difference in the level of knowledge from 5.19 to 6.81 (p = 0.012). Conclusion: health education has been shown to be influential in increasing the level of knowledge of patients and their families regarding stroke, readiness, the role of family carers for stroke patients, psychological support, and preparation for the care of stroke patients at home. However,health education does not affect the level of readiness of stroke patients for transition. Suggestion: readiness to accept the transition in stroke patients is not enough only by health education alone but family participation is needed in providing support to these patients therefore it is recommended that nurses always support the family to support stroke patients. AbstrakPasien stroke menghadapi sejumlah masalah yang mencakup fisik, sosial, emosional, psikologis, dan spiritual yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan kesejateraannya. Diperlukan penguatan peran keluarga, dukungan keluarga, serta persiapan perawatan oleh keluarga di rumah. Salah satu upayanya adalah dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien stroke dan keluarga melalui edukasi kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan pasien stroke dan keluarga akan peran, dukungan, dan persiapan perawatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan one group pre-post test design. Penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Al Islam Bandung pada tahun 2018. Responden terdiri dari 16 pasien stroke dan 16 keluarga pasien stroke. Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebelum dan setelah intervensi terdapat perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan tingkat pengetahuan pasien dari 7,94 menjadi 10,38 (p = 0,002), tetapi pada variabel kesiapan  pasien stroke tidak  terdapat perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan terlihat dari rata-rata nilai 14,25 menjadi 15,88 (p = 0,411). Pada keluarga pasien menunjukan bahwa sebelum dan setelah intervensi terdapat perbedaan rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan yang signifikan dari 5,19 menjadi 6,81 (p = 0,012). Simpulan: edukasi kesehatan terbukti berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan pasien dan keluarganya mengenai stroke, kesiapan, peran keluarga pengasuh pasien stroke, dukungan psikologis, dan persiapan perawatan pasien stroke di rumah. Edukasi Kesehatan tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kesiapan pasien stroke untuk transisi. Saran : kesiapan untuk menerima transisi pada pasien stroke tidak cukup dengan edukasi kesehatan saja tapi diperlukan peran serta keluarga dalam memberikan dukungan kepada pasien tersebut oleh karena itu disarankan agar perawat selalu mensupport keluarga agar melakukan dukunganpada pasien stroke.

<span lang="EN-US">Writing implicates conveying or communicating ideas or thoughts obliges the media either in conventional (paper and pen) or digital material (computer). This research applied a pre-experimental approach with one group pretest and post-test design. The independent variable is movie trailers as teaching media. The dependent variable is students' writing skills consist of content, organization, vocabulary, language use, and mechanics. This research indicated a significant difference in writing skills before and after the treatment using movie trailers with narrative text. There were 30 writing class students participated in this research; hence, they are homogeneous. Students seemed to be more encouraged to learn more about writing skills with enjoyable and relaxing strategies. This research signposted significant impact on the movie trailer's usage of writing skills’ improvement. Movie trailers could be used as one of the learning media to foster students' resolution in telling stories in writing based on the imagination that comes after watching. Therefore, this research recommends using a movie trailer as one strategy to improve the students' writing ability.</span>

The objectives of this research are (1) to find out the speaking ability of SMA Negeri 2 Rembang students before being taught using series pictures of storytelling, (2) to find out the speaking ability of SMA Negeri 2 Purwodadi students after being taught using series pictures of storytelling, and (3) to find out whether or not there is a significant difference of speaking ability of SMA Negeri 2 Purwodadi students before and after being taught using series pictures of storytelling.This study uses Experimental method. The number of populations in this research is30 students. The method of data collection is spoken test. First the writer gives pre-test to the students and scores. Second the writer gives a treatment for two meetings at this time, the writer implements the series pictures in classroom activities. At last, the writer gives the students a post test. The data analysis reveals that the mean of pre-test score is 61,03 ; it is at fair level. The mean of post-test score is 76,1 ; it is at good level. Then the result of t-test is9,71, and the t-table of 30 students is2,04. The result of t-test is higher than t-table. Based on research analysis, the writer takes conclusions: first the speaking ability of the students before being taught using series pictures of storytelling is fair, second the speaking ability of the students after being taught using series pictures of storytelling is good, and last there is significant improvement of English speaking ability of the students taught by using series pictures of storytelling. The writer also suggests to all of teachers of senior high school. It is better for them to use the media of series pictures of storytelling to improve the students’ speaking ability. It is for the simple reason that a series pictures are a media to improve the speaking ability at storytelling. The writer also suggests to the students that the study is as recommendation to motivate the students in improving the students’ speaking ability. The students are encouraged to give their opinions, ideas and imagination about the presented pictures. Definition of key terms (1) series picture A picture is an illustration of pictures that can be used as a two dimensional visual representation of percent, place, or things. (2) Media is any extension of man which allows him to affect other people who are not in face to face with him. (3) Story telling is In this research storytelling is used to improve the students’ speaking ability. It caused that storytelling can improve the ideas and imagines their story and express it by telling the story. It helps the students to speak and talk active.

Background. Hypnotherapy is a hypnotic application in curing psychological disorders and relieving physical disorders. The mechanism of action of hypnosis is based on the subconscious. Some scientists speculate that hypnosis stimulates the brain to release neurotransmitters (chemicals in the brain), encephalin, and endorphins and suppress the hypothalamus, which functions to improve mood so that it can change the individual's acceptance of nausea.   Purpose. This research aims to determine the effect of hypnotherapy techniques on the characteristics of nausea in patients who underwent chemotherapy in hospitals Mitra Plumbon Cirebon.   Method. This study used pre experimental methods with non-randomized one group pre test and post test design performed on patients chemotherapy who experienced nausea. The sample in this study is the entire population of patients who have undergone chemotherapy and experienced nausea in the hospital Mitra Plumbon the total samples are 54 respondent data  analysis used Wilcoxon Test.   Result. The result of the research on 54 subjects in hypnotherapy showed the nausea characteristics of chemotherapy patients before and after hypnotherapy was 51 people with decreased nausea, 3 people with the result remained nauseous and nobody experienced increased nausea. Wilxocon Signed Ranks Test Test results obtained significancy value 0.000 (p, 0.05), thus there is a significant difference of nausea characteristics before after hypnotherapy. Conclusions. This suggests that hypnotherapy is effective and effective against the reduction of nausea characteristics in chemotherapy patients. It is hoped that the action of hypnotherapy can be made as an intervention in dealing with nausea.

This study was aimed at finding out: (1) the significant difference in speaking achievement between the students who were trained with Instagram activity and those who were not; (2) the significant difference in motivation toward English Speaking between before and after the students were trained using Instagram Activity technique; (3) the interaction between teaching strategies and motivation toward students’ speaking ability; and (4) the students’ feedbacks concerning the Instagram Activity shown by the difference in students’ speaking achievement. This study applied a quasi experimental study. The instruments used to find out the data were questionnaire and tests. The calculation of the study was applying descriptive and inferential analysis. The study result showed that Instagram activity in English speaking class was applied during the process of the teaching and learning in the classroom. It showed significant different on students` English achievement from pre-test to post-test between the students with low and high motivation. It means that Instagram activity could improve students` English speaking skill and could also motivate students to learn more.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan menulis proposal skripsi mahasiswa Departemen Pendidikan Bahasa Daerah FPBS yang masih rendah, karena belum ada model pembelajaran menulis proposal skripsi yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya model pembelajaran menulis proposal skripsi yang efektif dan efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis proposal penelitian (skripsi)  mahasiswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model writing worshop. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan sumber data 55 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian rata-rata pretest diketahui 66,00 dan rata-rata posttest sebesar 83,18, dengan t hitung adalah 27,755. Maka, dapat disimpulkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menulis proposal skripsi sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model writing workshop. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Wiritng Workshop  dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis proposal skripsi mahasiswa Departemen Pendidikan Bahasa Daerah FPBS Tahun Akademik 2017-2018. Kata Kunci: writing workshop, proposal skripsi.  Abstract This research is motivated by the ability to write thesis proposal of the Department ofSundanese Language Education Department of FPBS which is still insufficient, because there is lack of learning model of appropriate writing  thesis proposal. Therefore, it is necessary to have a learning model of writing an effective and efficient thesis proposal. The purpose of this study is to describe students’ ability to write research thesis proposals before and after utilizing writing model workshop. The method used in this research is quasi experiment involving 55 students as data source. Based on the result of research, it showed that pretest score  average is 66,00 and post test score average equal to 83,18, with  27,755 t count. Thus, it can be assumed that there is a significant difference between the ability of students in writing thesis proposal before and after utilizing  writing workshop model. Thus, it can be concluded that writing workshop model can improve students ability to write thesis proposal in the Department of Sundanese Language Education  of FPBS in 2017-2018 academic year. Keywords: writing workshop, thesis proposal.

       The research aimed to know the effectiveness of the use of “Mojigoigo!” flash-based learning media towards the results of the JLPT-Like of the second-semester students majoring in Japanese Language Education of Ganesha Education University. The method used in the study was the experimental research method with the Pre-Experimental Design and the form used was One Group Pretest – Posttest Design. The instruments used were pre-test and post-test in the form of multiple choice questions which the material was equivalent of JLPT (JLPT-Like). The data analysis employed the t-test analysis. On the results of t-test, it retrieved (the value of sig. =0.006<0.05), meaning that on the statistical hypothesis Ho is rejected and the Ha is accepted, stating that "there is a significant difference between the average value of the pre-test from the average value of the post-test". It shows that the use of “Mojigoigo!”flash-based learning media is proved to be effective in improving the results of the JLPT-Like of the second-semester students majoring in Japanese Language Education of Ganesha Education University.
