Indonesian people’s awareness of the importance of health has increased significantly so that it has a positive impact on the development of the health sector in Indonesia. The largest service facility in Central Java Province is RSUP Dr. Kariadi. The number of patients who came for an examination at Dr. Kariadi’s arrival rate is unpredictable. This can cause the service system to be busy and result in queues. The purpose of this study was to find out how the service system in Dr. Kariadi especially eye polyclinic, ENT polyclinic, laboratory, and registration. Queue theory has random arrivals and services. Bayesian method is used to analyze the queue system, that has been running for a long time by combining the prior and likelihood distribution of samples. Prior distribution is obtained from previous research, namely the Poisson distribution. Meanwhile, the likelihood of the sample obtained from the current study is the Poisson distribution and the Negative Binomial distribution. The resulting queue models for the eye polyclinic are (GAMM/BETA/4):(GD/∞/∞), ENT polyclinic (GAMM/GAMM/2):(GD/∞/∞), laboratory (GAMM/GAMM/4):(GD/∞/∞), and registration (GAMM/GAMM/3):(GD/∞/∞). Based on the results of the study, it was found that the patient care system at the eye polyclinic, ENT polyclinic, laboratory, and registration met steady state condition, meaning that the service system was running well. The value of the unemployment rate at the eye polyclinic is 96,36%; ENT polyclinic 31,86%; laboratory 34,87% and registration 32.85%. Thus, at the eye polyclinic, the unemployment rate is greater than the busy level. Meanwhile, in ENT polyclinics, laboratories, and registration is the opposite occurs.

BACKGROUND HbA1c between 6% and 6.9% is associated with the lowest incidence of all‐cause and CVD mortality, with a stepwise increase in all‐cause and cardiovascular mortality in those with an HbA1c >7%. • There are 30 million individuals in the United States (9.4% of the population) currently living with Diabetes Mellitus. OBJECTIVE Improving HbA1C levels in patients with uncontrolled Diabetes with a focused and collaborative effort. METHODS Our baseline data for Diabetic patients attending the outpatient department from July 2018 to July 2019 in a University-affiliated hospital showed a total of 217 patients for one physician. • Of 217 patients, 17 had HbA1C 9 and above. We contacted these patients and discussed the need for tight control of their blood glucose levels. We intended to ensure them that we care and encourage them to participate in our efforts to improve their outcome. • We referred 13 patients that agreed to participate to the Diabetic educator who would schedule an appointment with the patients, discuss their diet, exercise, how to take medications, self-monitoring, and psychosocial factors. • If needed, she would refer them to the Nutritionist based on patients’ dietary compliance. • The patients were followed up in the next two weeks via telemedicine or a phone call by the PCP to confirm and reinforce the education provided by the diabetes educator. RESULTS Number of patients that showed an improvement in HbA1C values: 11 Cumulative decrease in HbA1C values for 13 patients: 25.3 The average reduction in HbA1C: 1.94 CONCLUSIONS Our initiative to exclusively target the blood glucose level with our multidisciplinary approach has made a positive impact, which is reflected in the outcome. • It leads to an improvement in patient compliance and facilitates diabetes management to reduce the risk for complications CLINICALTRIAL NA

Biofeedback was reported as an effective concept for bruxism treatment, through increasing patient’s awareness of the habit. During bruxing both ear canals become tighter, therefore, an in-ear device can provide biofeedback. The in-ear device is fitted to the ear canal in physiological status, during bruxing the ear-canal tightens resulting in stress on the canal walls and unpleasant feeling. Subsequently, patients stop their bruxing habit. The aim of this study is to provide first clinical evidence that in-ear devices have a positive impact on relieving bruxism in patients. Despite the low number of patients, this early study was designed as a controlled prospective study. The trial included seven female patients with a median age of 47.3 years (23–64 years). Only two patients implemented their devices for eight and seven months, respectively. One patient reported a relief in her symptoms, like headaches and pain intensity during the night, by 50% after three month and 80% after six months. Despite the limited number of participants, the study reflects a potential of Intra-aural devices as effective biofeedback devices in treating bruxism.

AbstractCounts of the cabbage maggot, Hylemya brassicae (Bouché), on cabbage did not conform to the Poisson distribution, there being an excess of uninfested and highly infested plants over the expected number. But when the negative binomial series was fitted to the observed distribution, the discrepancies were not significant when tested by chi-square. The negative binomial parameter k tended to increase with density. Using a common k, the distribution of the various stages may be described by expansion of (q − p)−k, when values of k are as follows: egg 0.78, larva 0.71, pupa 0.84. Three different transformations are offered for stabilizing the variance of field counts.

This research aims to find out whether a salesperson’s technical competention, sales soft capability, service orientation, and adaptive selling have any impact to improve salespersons’ performance in a case study of Prepaid Television Channel Transvision’s Salesperson in distribution area Central Java and Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research takes 102 respondents as the object and uses sampling technique.Data analysis technic that is used in this research is structural equation model (SEM) from AMOS 22 software. The test result done using SEM shows the goodness of fit full model criteria which are Chi-square = 67,203; Probability = 0,035; CMIN/DF = 1,400; GFI = 0,905; AGFI = 0,845, TLI = 0,904; CFI = 0,930; dan RMSEA = 0,063. Therefore, it can be said that the model in this research is qualified to use.  The research findings show that from 6 hypothesis being tested, there are 2 hypothesis rejected and 4 hypothesis accepted. The first hypothesis which is salesperson’s technical competency has positive impact and is significant. The second hypothesis which is salesperson’s technique has positive impact and is significant. The third hypothesis sales soft capability has positive impact but is not significan. The fourth hypothesis sales soft capability has positive impact and is significant. The fifth hypothesis service orientation has positive impact and is significant. The sixth hypothesis which is adaptive selling has positive impact but is not significant with value. This research has several limitation and gives the agenda for the further researches to be done after this research.

An emergency can happen anywhere and anytime, especially in developing countries with a high potential for emergencies, such as Eastern European countries as well as Indonesia. This study aimed to find out the quality of PSC 119 Si Slamet as a prehospital emergency service innovation. The data collection in this study was carried out in a location, namely, Batang Regency, Indonesia, in May–June 2018. The qualitative data collection methods used in this study are in-depth interviews and document reviews. This study was using Service Quality (Servqual) questionnaire. The results show that PSC 119 Si Slamet provides easy access to emergency services to the community 24 hours a day and 7 days a week by simply calling 119 numbers, sending messages via SMS and WhatsApp, or using the Android-based application, with a maximum response time target of 10 minutes. Batang is one of the regencies (rural area) in Central Java province, located on the main coastline, with a hilly geographic condition with many derivatives, climbs, and sharp curves, which is one of the causes of the high number of traffic accidents in the area. This emergency care information systems, with Android-based application, was aimed at improving the quality of services in the health sector, especially emergency services. This service is of good quality as seen from the tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy dimensions. However, in the implementation, the socialization aspect is not the best to some people. The recommendation given was the need to increase the PSC 119 socialization of Si Slamet not only regionally but also internationally to be massive, especially in developing countries.

Along with the times, transportation has progressed. Regarding the means of transportation, one of the phenomenon that is easily encountered in everyday life is the queue at public transportation facilities. One of the queues that occurred at public transportation facilities is  the train queue at Semarang Tawang Station. The number of trains that passes the station can cause the train service at the station busy. This study aims to see whether the train service system of Semarang Tawang Station is good or not. This can be consider by the queues method, determining the distribution of arrival patterns and service patterns to obtain a queues system model and a system performance standard. In this study, the distribution of arrival patterns and service patterns are determined by calculating the posterior distribution using the Bayesian method. The bayesian method was chosen because it is able to combine the sample distribution in the current study with the previous information for the same cases. The prior distribution and the likelihood function are the elements needed to obtain the posterior distribution. The distribution of arrival patterns and service patterns obtained from previous information follows the Poisson distribution. Based on the calculation of the posterior distribution, the result shows that the distribution of the arrival pattern is a discrete uniform distribution and the distribution of the service pattern is a Poisson distribution. The result shows that the train service system at Semarang Tawang Station has a model (Uniform Discrete / Gamma / 7: GD / ~ / ~) and has good service based on the performance values obtained.

Infant mortality (0-11 months) and maternal mortality (during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum) are significant indicators in determining the level of public health. Central Java Province which has 35 regencies/cities is included in the top five regions with the highest number of infant and maternal mortality in Indonesia. The data characteristics of the number of infants and maternal mortality are count data. Therefore, the Poisson Regression method can be used to analyze the factors that influence the number of infants and maternal mortality. In Poisson regression analysis, there must be a fulfilled assumption, called equidispersion. Frequently, the variance of count data is greater than the mean, which is known as the overdispersion. The research, binomial negative bivariate regression is used as a solutions to overcome the problem of overdispersion in poisson regression. This method produce a global model. In reality, the geographical, socio-cultural, and economic conditions of each region will be different. This illustrates the effect of spatial heterogeneity, so it needs to be developed into Geographically Weighted Negative Binomial Bivariate Regression (GWNBBR). The model of GWNBBR provides weighting based on the position or distance from one observation area to another. Significant variables for modeling infant mortality cases included the percentage of obstetric complications treated (X1), the percentage of infants who were exclusively breastfed (X3), and the percentage of poor people (X5). Significant variable for modeling maternal mortality cases is the percentage of poor people (X5). Based on the AIC value, GWNBBR model is better than binomial negatif bivariat regression model because it has a smaller AIC value.

Aims1) To assess the average wait time for patients to be offered an appointment and to establish any correlations between longer waiting times and 'Did not attend (DNA)' rates 2) To assess the number of patients who have opted into the text message appointment reminder service and whether this had an effect on DNA rates.BackgroundResearch has indicated that the Did Not Attend (DNA) rate in Psychiatry is estimated at 20%, twice that of other medical specialties (1). With NHS Digital estimating that DNAs cost the NHS £1 Billion per annum, there has been much interest in reducing the rate of DNAs within Psychiatry (2). Findings have shown that short waiting times are associated with higher rates of attendance (3). In addition, poor appointment attendance within Psychiatry is also associated with increased disease severity and higher rates of hospital admission (4).MethodWe conducted retrospective data collection on 99 patients referred to Professor Oyebode between January 2018 and August 2019. Our data collection involved assessing time the referral was received, time to first appointment and the patient's communication preference (e.g. whether they opted in to the SMS alert service). All data collection was conducted through use of RIO and coded/ammonized into a Excel spreadsheet. No sampling methods were employed and our population only consisted of first-time referrals to Professor Oyebodes clinic.Result1) We found no correlation between a longer waiting time to first appointment and an increased DNA rate.2) All patient waiting times between 1st January - 31st August were within the maximum limit set by national guidelines3) Opting into the text messaging service remains severely low. Of the patients audited, 95% had not completed a communication preference form. Overall, it is still unclear whether the text messaging service has a positive impact on DNA rates.ConclusionOur data have shown no significant correlation between a longer waiting time and an increased DNA rate for first time Psychiatry appointments. Secondly, we have concluded that between the audited period, waiting times were still within the maximum 18 week wait set by the Mental Health Standards. Finally, we can conclude that uptake of the text messaging service remains very low at 4%. Due to a limited sample size of only 4 patients, it is still unclear from this audit whether opting into the text messaging services will have a positive decrease on the number of DNA's.

In 2019 the number of people with TB (Tuberculosis) in Banyumas, Central Java, is high (1,910 people have been detected with TB). The number of people infected Tuberculosis (TB) in Banyumas is the count data and it is also the area data. In modeling, the parameter estimation and characteristic of the data need to be considered. Here, we studied comparing Generalized Poisson (GP), negative binomial (NB), and Poisson and CAR.BYM model for TB cases in Banyumas. Here, we use two methods for parameter estimation, maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) and Bayes. The MLE is used for GP and NB models, whereas Bayes is used for Poisson and CAR-BYM. The results showed that Poisson model detected overdispersion where deviance value is 67.38 for 22 degrees of freedom. Therefore, ratio of deviance to degrees of freedom is 3.06 (>1). This indicates that there was overdispersion. The folowing GP, NB, Poisson-Bayes and CAR-BYM are used to modeling TB data in Banyumas and we compare their RMSE. With refer to RMES criteria, we found that CAR-BYM is the best model for modeling TB in Banyumas because its RMSE is smallest.

Population size is one of the most important parameters of national social and economic systems. This parameter is controlled by a variety of factors (components) that form ambiguous and complex feedback circuits. The most important issue is the study of the behavioral reactions of the population, which form certain parameters of the dynamics of the population. The authors consider only one behavioral reaction that seems to them to be important – the propensity for suicide, which ultimately leads to the formation of the suicide dynamics and which entails serious socio-economic and demographic losses. We put an emphasis on assessing the impact of financial parameters, namely households’ debt burden, on the suicide rates in the Russian regions. An econometric assessment of the influence of individual debt on the number of suicides among other socio-economic factors (unemployment rate, logarithm of GRP per capita, divorce rate, number of patients with mental disorders, average actual working week, number of alcoholics) was carried out for the regions among rural, urban populations and total. We use panel data for 80 Russian regions covering the period from 2005 to 2018. We apply the generalized method of moments (GMM) using Stata 14 statistical package. The empirical analysis demonstrates negative impact of the amount of individual debt on the number of suicides in the regions of Russia, which contradicts the results of similar studies conducted for developed economies. At the same time, some results obtained earlier in domestic and foreign studies have been confirmed, including an existence of a parabolic (U-shaped) dependence between the length of working hours and the suicide rates in the regions of the Russian Federation. In addition, there is a direct connection between an increase in the committed suicides and an increase in divorce rates and the number of patients with mental disorders. Moreover, we find out that the rise in unemployment rate and alcohol consumption leads to an increase in the number of committed suicides. This effect is especially perceptible among the people living in rural areas
