Abstract - Visual impairment is a term given to someone who does not have healthy vision. To fulfill their daily life needs, people with visual impairment tend to depend on the facilities in public open spaces. Accessibility that should support people with visual impairment in using public transportation facilities is often poorly maintained. This kind of condition could lead to fatal consequences to the safety of persons with disabilities. Options linked  to accessing public open spaces for people with visual impairment become limited due to the lack of facilities. The refurbishment has been done at Tanah Abang Station by providing a transit plaza for users that is connected to various public transportation facilities, which enables easy and comfortable navigation. This has become an opportunity, to build better public facilities that are accessible to all users, including for people with visual impairment. Through this effort, the transit plaza should be able to serve as a public space that is beneficial for people with visual impairment, so there are more possibilities to ensure their quality of life. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the transit plaza can provide accessibility for people with visual impairment. The method used is qualitative and data collection was carried out through literature studies, field surveys as well as interviews and simulations with people with visual impairment. The results conclude that the accessibility value referring to technical requirements indicates that the transit plaza sufficiently complies with accessibility standards regarding public open spaces. This value is compared to the experience of people with visual impairment . This study  found that there are some differences from the aspect of convenience according to the people with visual impairment's point of view. The mobility in the transit plaza is considered easy and safe by people with visual impairment. When they had to determine  direction or orientation, people with visual impairment who were not familiar with transit plaza still had  difficulties to navigate independently. When facing these situations, blind people adapted by relying on abilities other than their sight as an alternative. Transit plaza could provide universal convenience for users by accommodate accessibility that can not only encourage the independence of the people with visual impairment, but also support comfort and safety of  individuals without visual impairment.   Keywords: Visual impairment, accessibility, transit plaza

The term “urban mass transit” generally refers to scheduled intra-city service on a fixed route in shared vehicles. Public transportation is an important contributing factor to urban sustainability. Effective transportation networks that incorporate public transit livable by easing commute and transportation needs and increasing accessibility. To assess public transportation accessibility in metropolitan networks, two indices are used: the supply level of urban public transportation facilities resource and the public transportation-private automobile traveling time ratio. As the research in the Wolaita sodo town region and the assessment system, an evaluation technique for urban public transportation facility resource supply is developed based on accessibility. Accessibility is a representative indicator for evaluating the supply of bus system. Traditional studies have evaluated the accessibility from different aspects. Considering the interaction among land use, bus timetable arrangement and individual factors, a more holistic accessibility measurement is proposed to combine static and dynamic characteristics from multisource traffic data. The objective is to highlight the main lessons learned and identify knowledge gaps to guide the design and evaluation of future transport investments. Moreover, studies looking at ways to improve the operational efficiency of systems and those seeking to promote behavioral changes in transport users offer great potential to generate learning that is useful for the public and private actors involved.

Transport interchange hubs (TIH) combine the features of public buildings and transportation facilities. Their functional diversity and technological features dictate their uniqueness and the inability to use standard space-planning solutions. Classification and research of the TIH will help to successfully develop and implement a large number of objects simultaneously. The author describes an approach to the TIH classification according to the following features: capacity (volume of passenger traffic), composition (number of modes of transport), functionality, location in the city and planning structure.

Improving public services in the urban transportation system consists of improving transportation facilities and infrastructure, improving inter-institutional relations and increasing human resources. The transportation system for the city of Pekanbaru in 2009 began to apply the concept of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) under the name busway trans metro Pekanbaru. Over time, the trans metro busway has shrunk to become a regular bus. This can be seen that many MRT public facilities are not maintained and neglected so that public confidence in the MRT continues to decline. Efforts to improve public services on a sustainable mass transportation system in Pekanbaru City through a public service system that is provided in the form of transportation facilities and infrastructure that exist on the trans metro busway system in Pekanbaru City, as well as providing solutions in the form of maximizing an ideal and suitable mass transportation system for the people of Pekanbaru City. With the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) model.

The farmers are getting poorer despite the increase in the agricultural GDP. The profitability of agriculture has declined while the risk involved has increased. The changes in the policy en v iron ment a n d the market situation have not benefited the small and marginal farmers uniformly. Th e st u dy a tt emp ts t o project the regulated market of Tripura with different amenities available in the market vicinity. Alto gethe r 21 markets have been deliberately studied with twenty numbers of respondents from each market, and a total 420 numbers of responses are recorded; and a z-test has been applied to ascertain the relative importance of the specific variables. The market information, storing, weighing, sorting facilities are significantly aff ec te d on the marketing of agricultural produce in regulated markets of Tripura. In contrast, grading and transportation facilities have been found less affected by the regulated market system in Tri pura . Th e f i rst controlled market was created (1964). Following that, three markets were controlled in 1981, and sevente en markets were regulated in 1986. In Tripura, the government has take n se v e ral me a sure s t o e sta bli sh a controlled market. Despite these measures, there has been no discernible improvement in the state of Tripura's regulated markets

Technological developments and economic growth in the DKI Jakarta area have resulted in increased development in various fields, that the need for transportation facilities is increasing in the center of Jakarta, especially on Jalan Jendral Sudirman, traffic congestion is caused by an imbalance between increased use of vehicles and the growth of available road infrastructure, and the capacity of the existing road is smaller than the capacity of the planned road, all of which result in side obstacles. The purpose of this study was to analyze and evaluate side barriers in determining traffic capacity in various conditions and certain times, based on the 1997 MKJI guidelines. Calculating road capacity using secondary data from research that has been validated by previous researchers. in 2020 by Sarah Haryati, that data is obtained on Jalan Jendral Sudirman, Jakarta. In addition, we also use questionnaire data in the form of a google form to get the perception of these side barriers. The results obtained that the Jalan Jendral Sudirman Jakarta section is in the Very Low class in the morning, afternoon, and evening. For the next research, it is expected to specifically make a questionnaire to focus more on getting more valid data.
