In early 2020, covid-19 spread fast in the worldwide and cause the high death. The disease started from the Asian region which resulted in a viral pandemic in 2020. In order to anticipate the increasing of the cases, a strategy is needed to inhibit its transmission.  The mathematical model approach is important tool for predicting of covid-19 spread in populations. In this paper we propose and analyze the dynamical behaviour of a developed logistic model by considering the effect of the contact patterns in reducing the covid-19 spread process.  To verify the developed logistic model, numerical simulation was given with case study of covid-19 spread for patients under supervision in Central Java Province, Indonesia.  Based on simulation results, it was found that physical distancing can reduce the growth of the covid-19 spread for patient under supervision. It can be seen from the number of covid-19 spread for patients under supervision with physical distancing intervention smaller compared to without physical distancing intervention.

<p>This research aims to explore the basic value of social institution of farmers and find the technique of re-functionalization of social institutions of farmers. The design of this research is using a case study method based on qualitative and quantitative approach. This research is intentionally conducted in Karangreja Sub-district, Purbalingga Regency of Central Java Province.  Based on the research results, The prominent basic social values in the social institutions of farmers in the Agro-tourism area tend to be still around the proximity to the production process. Three prominent basic values: (1) the basic value of perseverance in the process of production, (2) the basic value of togetherness for making decision on production, (3) the value of carefulness in sorting and grading product. Indeed the basic value of togetherness to fight for the price is high but it has not bring such a tangible results for farmers’. The authors predicted that if the socio-economic institutions are strong, they will be able to empower farmers and vice versa if the social institution is weak then the empowerment of farmers is also weak. However, it is necessary to concern that the institution which in charge of product quality, post harvest technology and marketing has not been much strengthened, so that the welfare of farmers has not changed much. Institutional strengthening in sectors that are still weak need to get more attention from various parties so that farmers become more dynamic and more empowered.</p>

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of disease that has never been identified in humans. Severe cases of COVID-19 can cause acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death. COVID-19 cases have spread all over the world, including in Indonesia. One province with a high number of COVID-19 cases is Central Java Province. Therefore, it is necessary to cluster districts or cities in Central Java based on the COVID-19 case to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Clustering the cases of COVID-19 is done using k-means clustering which is a method of clustering a number of data by means of partitions. The results show that cluster 2 and cluster 3 are areas that the government should pay more attention to because they are areas with a high number of active cases and the high death cases of COVID-19 in Central Java.

Population growth model is a widely been used model to do an estimation and forecasting towards the population of peoples, animals, bac-teria and even in economics growth. Many studies have been carried out on population growth model concerning the factors of birth, death and carrying capacity in order to predict the number of population at certain area. From these studies there is only one study involved the constant value factor of migration as an input in the logistic model. Therefore contradicting with the above modified logistic model, in this study logistic model is modified by adding a migration factor as a function of population. This function takes into account the migration and the interaction between peoples that is limited to the carrying capacity of the environment. This model can be solved qualitatively using the analysis of equilibrium point and quantitatively using the separable variables method. This modified logistic model with migration factor has been applied in the population prediction of Purwanegara village in Central Java Province, Indonesia. Throughout the results, the modified logistic model with migration factor as a function of population gives a better result for population prediction of Purwanegara village in Central Java Province, Indonesia compared with logistic model.
